  1. Oh I know what you're sayin StacyK & NuTrix- I have been ordering greedily since I found the place in August, and now have soooo many bottles of delish that I don't know what to do with them all. And yet, can't seem to stop ordering more...
  2. So sad it's not permanent. I've only worn it once so far and I'm in love like I've never been before.
  3. I've been getting through my LP Original oil so quickly that I ordered a spray. Now I've used it a few times I can honestly say the spray smells even better on me than the oil does. Has anyone else noticed that? It's like the whole body of the scent is released much more quickly, and it does away with the slightly more awkward phase the oil version has on me to start with. It lasts well too, even in the heat here. And I feel happier now I know I've got a lot more to play with before it'll run out. I must never run out of this.
  4. Just tried this one for the first time today. I love it so much! This really does remind me of Sneaky Clean, even though they're quite different. I love the luxury soap/clean floral/soft baby musk thing it has going on, and the spray lasted all day in the hot weather. I haven't been in a position to test the phero yet, and haven't used perfect match before, but I already want to buy more of this one. Edit: Is this fragrance permanent? Cause I can't see a thingy saying it's a limited edition fragrance in the perfumerie. It doesn't seem to be listed with the permanent fragrances either though.
  5. Thanks Molls & Joc, that's a relief. I don't want to be ruining my preciouses. Joc, your summer weather sounds a lot like mine, so if your lovelies are alright then mine should be good too.
  6. I've just started wearing my Occo White a bit lately and it's a really lovely delicious vanilla scent. It's interesting though- the first two times I wore it the weather was a bit cooler and I couldn't smell any cops at all. Then I wore it yesterday, and in my part of Australia at the moment it's all gross and hot and humid (I'm so jealous of all of you who get a white Christmas!) and I smelled the cops for the first time. It smelled like an off vanilla cheesecake until it all dried down- it kind of disturbed me as I thought it might have gone off in the heat or something. I currently keep my phero blends in a large wooden box in my bedroom, under my bed (I have the blinds drawn down and everything too)- do you think this is enough protection against disgustingly over-the-top Australian heat? It's times like this I wish I lived in the Northern hemisphere...
  7. Just read your story Enchantress. Like you I'm really still trying to figure this one out- LFM really is a mysterious phero-beast. Anyway, it struck me that the waiter's behaviour really sounds like he was reacting to the phero, and was respecting your need for space but trying to serve you well at the same time. I know the couple of times I've truly overdosed on this one (read too much as 5 or 6 or 7 full sprays ) people have stayed very much away from me and only expressed interest from afar, like I was a panther that had escaped from the zoo, and they kinda wanted to stroke my sleek fur, but they didn't want to get eaten.
  8. Oh my god, thank you so much Mara & LP elves! I just got home to find the best early chrissy present ever waiting on my doorstep- a huge box full of LPs! I love how beautifully presented and lovingly wrapped your parcels always are. And thank you for the lovely extras!
  9. I often do 4 or 5 sprays and then end up regretting it later. So maybe don't do that, lol. Unless you're looking to get pherodrunk
  10. This strange substance continues to morph into something different with each testing. I've never encountered anything quite like it. Last night I opened the bottle and took a sniff- it now has a sweetish fruity scent, as opposed to its original, less pleasant earwax scent. I dabbed a nice bit on my wrist and mid-section. As before, I smelled a mild beeswax scent, and then basically nothing. But I woke up several hours later (maybe woken by it?) and it smells like sex. Not dirty, sexy honey, just straight up soft scent of sex. Very weird. This stuff has a life of its own.
  11. Cinnamonmel, earwax is the exact first impression I got of it when I first tried it! I thought, surely this is not what it actually smells like? It's not earwax for me now, it's beeswax, then nothing, then eventually a kind of honeyish scent that could definitely blend with perfumes. But I still feel like I'm missing something. Anyway, Aja definitely captures male attention in a good way, going on the one day I've worn it out under some perfume, so I'll take the waxiness and run with it.
  12. I'm beginning to feel a little depressed here- this is like one of the most mysterious substances I've come across and I can't smell it properly!
  13. Sounds like you could have some degree of synaesthesia going on there Eggers. It can include all sorts of mingled sensory connections. I get things like colours, textures, feelings, etc associated with letters, words, numbers, music, sound, weather, people, etc. I do have strong reactions to people's voices but have never yet heard someone with a pudding voice, lol! I kinda want to know what that sounds like. Is it delicious or just kind of wobbly? After putting Aja on last night and showering this morning I could still smell it more faintly on my wrist. I put on some Lp Original over it, and some Sneaky Clean sprayed on my clothes. Now I can still smell the Aja floating in the air around my hands- it's gone all soft and sweet and a bit like a baby-type scent as it gains more prominence over the LP Original. I really like it now.
  14. This is interesting, now I think about it- I don't drink much red wine cause I don't really like the taste of alcohol, but my parents are right old wine guzzlers, and they like good quality stuff. Some of their wines smell interesting to me, some smell potent in a very wrong way, and then I've come across a few that didn't smell like much at all to me. It almost feels like the combination of scents in them is cancelling out a lot of their overall smell. I know what you mean by the blank spot- when the initial smell, which is a very flat mild beeswax scent, like a sheet of candle beeswax, disappears, it's like I should be smelling something else there but I can't. You aren't a synaesthete by any chance? The way you describe the tactile blank spot made me wonder. I discovered that I'm one a couple of years ago. Edited for spelling...
  15. Hmm, like Eggers I've been wondering if I'm not smelling this properly. Which is weird cause I usually have a good sense of smell, but then I seem to remember Eggers saying her smell-sense is like a kind of spidy sense, so I'm confused. I put a nice dab on my wrists last night. It doesn't seem to have a huge smell for the first while, unless I put my nose near it. Then it smells like beeswax. But it almost seems like my skin eats it quickly and there' nothing there to smell at all. Then this morning I'm typing away on my laptop and I notice quite a strong dark honey-ish scent wafting from my wrists. It is a bit dirty, but not too much. It's not quite honey though- and if I sniff against my wrist I've got the beeswax thing happening again. It's like my skin absorbs it for a while first and then unleashes its full power. I wouldn't wear this alone, cause I don't want to be thought of as the beeswax lady. But now it feels like something that could mingle nicely with a heap of scents. And I want to experience the magical powers of the AJA...
  16. Mmmm, independent bookstore job.... drooool..... I am so filled with bibliophilic jealousy right now. I sooo have to try Balm Bomb. I keep bypassing it for more exciting things, but it's beginning to sound like a necessity.
  17. SpriteLeigh, your story makes me want to try experimenting with my LFM more. I originally bought then UN, and unfortunately had (still kinda have) a tendency to spray them freely around like lovely perfumes. So I wore LFM to work one day, must have worn between 4 & 6 sprays- of the UN. Big mistake. NO ONE would come anywhere near me the entire day- even the other staff seemed to stay away from me. I saw quite a few people who seemed to be interested in me and kept glancing my way, but would not approach within several feet of me. I'm not a Star Wars fan, but I suppose Darth Vader has a certain magnetism, right? Like you that's the message I seemed to be sending. Have had some interesting hits on other days, but I've been a bit scared of this phero. I shall now tentatively try wearing a small amount of my lovely La Sylphide and see what happens.
  18. Oooh, just saw this. Now I'm now trying not to get unreasonably excited, cause I ordered a spray of this one. Have to remind myself it could be any one of thousands of other people's orders being talked about here. Won't...start...droooooling.....yet.....
  19. Thanks Cheeseburger- I truly think it was my childhood love of faeries that inspired my love of scents! StacyK you are so right about AJA- that would be a potent plant magick. Wonderous things would surely happen.
  20. My sympathies to you on your retail job at Christmas. I can't stand being anywhere near shopping centres from about mid November, what with the people and the loud music, and the people, and the bad children's entertainers, and the people... Last year I had to do a little last minute shopping at a large shopping centre with awful, loud, abrasive Christmas music blaring from every speaker in every store, and even in the toilets. Then I walked into a decorative gift type store playing some meditation music instead. I stayed there for almost an hour. I feared that if I left the store I might have to start killing people.
  21. LOL! You'll have lots of fun if you mist your hair with DHEAS... Especially around christmas time, when everything's all perty and shiny
  22. Oh I'm so glad people like my review of this, because I am so in love with this perfume! Wore it to work a couple of days ago and a woman who has never commented on any scent told me I smelled really lovely. And people seemed very happy and at ease around me all day. By the end of the day I couldn't smell the perfume, but the weird thing was that at this point, when I thought it had worn off, men were showing more interest in me than they had been earlier in the day- constantly glancing and smiling at me everywhere I went. I had no other pheros on, so it had to be the open windows in River Song.
  23. Interesting question Irish eyes. I'm in Australia, so once my sample has rested for a couple more days I'll test it and let you know. A couple of months ago when it was just warming up into spring here and all the bees were out, I went outside wearing some blends like Pherogirl and Sneaky Clean, etc and they loved me! I didn't get bitten by anything, just had all these little bees flying around me repeatedly. I actually thought it was quite sweet- but then I like bees.
  24. The thought of a man gleefully misting himself with this deliciously sweet, marshmallow potion cracks me up! This is truly a testament to the effectiveness of LP pheros.
  25. Yeah, DHEAS are great fun to play with, but I tend to try not to use them too often cause my mind becomes like a bird that likes to collect shiny objects.
