  1. I'm so excited to have another Levitation scent! And I've never come across a pineapple based perfume before. I'm trying to picture whether this will be a heavy scent or a lighter, airier scent.
  2. This one looks so intriguing, but sadly the dirty honey note makes it impossible for me. I'll be really interested to hear how it turns out for others though.
  3. Yay! There's nothing better than getting up in the morning to find LP New Releases are waiting to be bought. How exciting to have another Levitation fragrance! I loved Luna's stories for Burnt Umber, Carbon Black and Vermillion (Burnt Umber was my favourite, and Vermillion convinced me to buy the perfume). Now I just have to control myself a bit and not snatch at everything in sight.
  4. Welcome Olderbutwiser! You've got some great LPs there to play with already, so it won't be long before you're creepily stalking the place every month like the rest of us. Sneaky Clean is one of my personal favourites, and seems to suit all kinds of occasions. Have fun!
  5. First off: SQUEE at Hearts' new avi bunny! Now that's out of my system, Amalthea I'm so glad you brought up the question of the whole "masculine presence" thing. I've been on the fence for a while about wanting to buy some of this phero, particularly for work, but not wanting to be all manly-like. But the social experiences some people have reported here sound so great. This seems like it would be ideal for a mixed-gender work environment. I'm totally convinced I must have some now.

    Egg 2011

Yep, it truly is delish! I'm hoping for a new one too. But maybe I'm being a greedy hog there, lol.
  7. Great costume! I hope you wore a purple scent to complete the sweetness.
  8. Honeycake, the strange phero smell washed out fine as soon as I washed my hair. Judging from other people's answers here I don't think it had a lot of cops in it. I use socials in my hair all the time. I have hair that is a bit dry and prone to frizzing, so I put a bit of the phero perfume oil on my hands and run it through the lengths of my hair. It realy does seem to help get the scent and pheros out there. Don't overdo it though, as it might make your hair look a bit oily. I also find the perfume and UN phero sprays to be very drying to my hair.
  9. Before discovering the wondrous LP and learning about pheros properly I tried one product that stank to high heaven (2 words, M... P..). It was supposed to be a "perfumed" phero, but it smelt like off-buttered manliness, even though it was for women. I don't know if it had cops, or some other strongly scented phero in it (they don't tell you what it contains). But I sprayed it in my hair a couple of times. To me, the awful scent became stronger and more putrid as the day went on. And it clung to my hair and skin like sticky tape. No other perfume scent could cover this smell, it was so overpowering... And yet, people reacted very positively to me while wearing it. Particularly men. I'd describe it as being like a sexy social type of phero feel. I will never attempt to put cops in my hair, because this experience alone taught me bad smells in hair = double yuck! But I found it so interesting that others didn't react to me as if I smelt bad at all.
  10. I would pay to see a blue frog watching the telly. They are some very pretty frogs too. I found a lovely purple-y one with blue feet here, but it won't let me insert the image here: http://www.almightydad.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/purple-frog.jpg ETA: Elizabeth, I think we need some more teachers like you! I must say, unfortunately the ones in my family are kind of dream squashers.

    Egg 2011

I have just discovered the brilliance of EGG 2011. Delicate, creamy, soft, sweet and delicious. I had to come and celebrate (gloat about) snatching the last bottle off Artfire. Yay!
  12. I might think about diluting my spray version based on your experience NuTrix. It is a very strong, sort of sharply lavender scent to me at the moment. I find it relaxing to spray as a room scent or on pillows, but too much to wear, as it doesn't settle down much over time. I might dilute it a bit and wear it with a spray of LP Original, for some added sweetness. I almost forgot to say- I recommend spraying this around in your wardrobes, etc if you have any trouble with moths. I've got little ones that visit here from time to time and like to have a nibble on my softest, nicest clothes. Actually , they like to bite 3 holes out of each piece of clothing- all close together and in a triangular shape. Perhaps this is some sort of omen? Anyway, Veloute Lavande to the rescue. It really seems to put them off.
  13. I got in trouble a few times at school for colouring in something the "wrong" colour. They'd give us an owl or a frog and tell us what specific colours to use on each part of it. So you'd end up with 20 brown owls or green frogs displayed across the classroom, all looking exactly the same. If you wanted to make a magenta-winged owl, or a blue and purple frog you were being naughty. That kind of dangerously subversive behaviour is just not allowed. Give a bunch of children free reign with some crayons and where would the madness end? Probably in mass suicide, devil-worshipping and kiddy riots. Or maybe, even when you're 5 years old, realism is deemed to be more important than creativity (even if blue and purple frogs do actually exist). http://www.treklens.com/gallery/photo257092.htm ETA: Glad to hear there are some other crayon nibblers out there!
  14. I know that some of the scents I wear can influence me a lot. Some scents, like some pheros, have very particular feelings or characteristics associated with them, and so wearing the same phero with different scents can definitely effect me differently to an extent. The feeling a scent invokes in you can also subtly influence the way you behave or interact with others, which can thus make a difference regardless of the phero. For example I wear Treasured Hearts a lot these days, and always love it. But if I wear it with a particularly delicate, sweet, feminine scent it makes me feel pretty and girly (Fairy Musk with TH does this for me). If I wear it with something deeper or warmer or more comforting then the happy social warmth is there more than anything particularly girly. Sexology in honeyed scents feels naughty to me. If I wear it in something more innocent (say X Appeal), then it feels different to me, and I see it as potentially more of a sexy/social like SS4W.
  15. How exciting! I stayed away for a few days to curb temptation and look what awaits me when I return! I may be greedy but I think I want them all. Was I the only person who had an overwhelming urge to bite into those crayons as a child? They looked so chewy and delicious.
  16. Oh wow- here I was thinking I was being all conservative, lol! I'll definitely take a break and start trying less. Thanks!
  17. Thanks NuTrix and StacyK for your advice. NuTrix, I will definitely have to start rotating pheros more, I tend to stick with the same few blends (and often add extra DHEAS) that I consistently prefer. I don't use many high energy blends, so haven't had that feeling before. I have been spaced out temporarily by flying potion and straight DHEAS though. StacyK, I have the straight DHEAS too- I add it to sooo many things. I think maybe you're right though that tiredness and stress in general might be adding to it. I've been cutting down my DHEAS use to 2 sprays per day of use, but think I might have to rest it for a while (so sad- I love this stuff).
  18. Chitown, I've ordered Papal Purple in a spray, and am currently "patiently" waiting for the postman to deliver my goodies. Will report back when I get it- I can't wait to try this!
  19. Has anyone found after using DHEAS quite a bit that it starts to exhaust you by the end of the day, even with just 2 sprays? I don't wear pheros every day, and have quite a few days off them when I'm just at home. I also always take vitamins, including b vitamins. Lately I've been feeling absolutely dead tired by the end of the day when I wear pheros. I mean the kind of exhaustion you might feel if you're really not well- you know, the kind that seeps through your whole body and leaves you completely drained. I usually do add the DHEAS to a blend, but have not been wearing the most a-nol heavy blends much lately, so I don't think it's the a-nol. I'll have to test it alone, but DHEAS seems to be the common factor.
  20. Doesn't this one just naturally lend itself to being paired with TH? I love combining these two together. Sweetness all around!

    Kitten Heels

This is so subtle and beautiful! At first it reminds me of a sweeter version of Love Potion 9, but on me it morphs into this soft, sweet, sexy, creamy baby-like smell. Not really baby powder (because it's more creamy than powdery) but that type of scent, with a dash of more grown-up elegance to it. It's one of those scents I never seem to stop sniffing at throughout the day. I can see the hint of androgynous-ness to this at the start, but it feels like a lovely soft feminine scent to me once it settles in.
  22. Yeah, I've only just discovered the magic of B-nol. I must get myself a bottle of its pure goodness.
  23. Hi and welcome WnG! I've always been a bit of a perfume addict, but was never satisfied with most of the perfumes I tried before discovering LP. Now I'm slathering myself in one or more of my disgustingly (delightfully) over-sized LP collection every day, and I've noticed such a difference in how both I and others react to them. I have a very well developed sense of smell, and these perfumes smell more real to me- I've realised much of my dissatisfaction with commercial fragrances stemmed from their obvious artificiality. And the chemical fixatives, as Quietguy mentioned, must make a huge difference too. No one has ever had a bad reaction to an LP perfume I've worn. These scents have a lovely natural charm and a softer, smoother texture to them. When I wear these fragrances, it's like they become a part of me.
  24. I've tried something similar before too StacyK. I have worn TH UN with some TC in Seer. When I've done this I put the TH on my clothes and the Seer in my hair and neck/décolletage. This is now a favourite work combination for me. It honestly feels like it seems to further amplify the whole TH effect in general for me. And it really does make people happy to talk to me. When I first wore TC I was worried about talking too freely myself due to other people's responses, but I've not had the slightest indication of that yet, and I sometimes slather this stuff on all round my head and neck. Mind you, being a double scorpio I am naturally extremely secretive. ETA: I totally agree with you that TH is like a more subtle social- this is how it always is for me alone. I really like it that way, but have started wearing it sometimes with TC, or sometimes with EST, because it takes things from subtle to much more obvious for me.
  25. Yeah Blackcat, I took one look at the ingredients and ordered in spray form. Can't wait to smell it!
