  1. Could someone advise what sort of skin this would be appropriate for ? Im in my 40ties with hydration problems. I am looking for a gentle exfoliant
  2. Oh, that reminds me, my husband was complaining of itchiness after being in a hottub - I used this on him with immediate cessation of the symptoms. And my hands are visibly better - I showed Mara my hands but she then countered with her own age and OK I can't compete, the woman looks awesome. This is too moisturizing for my teenage daughter but that's ok, more for me. And Im currently addicted to the scent - I talked about that in another thread. This is THE discovery of the year for me. I use this every day, sometimes more, oh who am I kidding ?? I have this by my bed, sometimes cracked open so I can smell it in my room. it's THAT delicious
  3. My experience today was similar to BelleDuJour's. Lovely in the sample vial, but gone on my skin within the hour. So this intrepid forum member decided to experiment and sacrificed the entire sample into a spray bottle, added EverClear 50/50 and started to spritz myself...and spritz....until suddenly I had used up the entire concoction in one application. I check with hubby and the kids and they could barely smell it either " sorta like chocolate". It was a warm summer evening here and finally with the added heat it started to bloom, a pretty mildly floral musk that stayed very close to my skin. Actually ended up being quite lovely despite my sweat, it mingled with my own body scent. I would consider this one of the mildest scents I have worn from LPMP
  4. Good golly I would be as well. I'll probably wait another year to try it though. I feel excited for you both !
  5. One Word : Ambrossssssssssssssssssssssia ~~~ I'll be there with my daughter on Friday
  6. Welcome ! Mark's Girl Nip is one my hubby will wear for me, as well as Dirty Old Man. He has a lot of success with Swimming with Sharks at work as well. Another one he is trying out right now is Pinnacle to help with occasional downtimes. We have some fabulous male reviewers and advisers here, as you probably have already read.
  7. I haven't and I doubt I'd be ready for another year. I'd be interested in making something woodsy/ snowy for my husband to wear.
  8. This with a dab of OCCO blue reminds me of Fourth of July. All relaxed, surrounded by good food and friends. Eating blueberry pie out back in someone's garden, wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt. My skin finally cooling down after sweating all day...stolen kisses in the dark. Lovely, flirty, sensual, but not overtly sexual.
  9. I would love to see this thread revived. I had strong arousal today from straight b-nol with Summertime Blue with a smidge of OCCO Blue. Totally caught me off guard. Stronger than Compromising Positions by far. Perhaps I need the b-nols to bridge the gap between everyday stress and feeling bonded. Just a theory for now. Anyone else ?
  10. cutie.pie I'm sooo happy for you that it's working for you. LPMP has changed my life. That's not an exaggeration. I think we're only just beginning to understand how scent and pheromones and our own constantly changing biochemistry interact to help us. Love sharing this journey with you !
  11. Dearest Rose, I am sad for you too. Im also a bit sad for myself, as I feel connected to you and it would be very meaningful to me to have a bit of *you* that I can wear. That's probably a bit mushy but I do really care about you, you share so much of yourself here with us. Let's hang in there together, the time will come.
  12. Hey I just made the connection: The wax melt "Man Cave with SS4M" shares 3 ingredients with this LP : Tonka, tobacco, sandalwood. Has a similar vibe.
  13. Yay, now we will get to find out what Rose is ordering !!
  14. Got a sniffie of this in my last order. It's the kind of positive, happy wood scent that I just adore. It's probably the amber in there that I'm liking so much. Let hubby have a sniff, he promptly applied and it said "that's nice..."which is a lot coming from him, hehe. Only 7 bottles left on Etsy ! Well done.
  15. Man Cave with SS4M is de BOMB. I have burned it for the scent alone. It's sweeter than perhaps you would think. Tonka, cedar, tobacco, sandalwood - has a positive, sexy, happy tone to it. I would love it as a the base for an LP, but then I adore the unisex stuff.
  16. I'd love to experiment with MLH more. I couldn't use the Totem: Kangaroo because I felt like the animal was right in front of me ! Very disconcerting, heheh. Mara knows her stuff too well. I have a long summer with kids ahead of me as well
  17. Try one of the OCCO flavors LP Original or similar Compromising Positions if you feel the phero blend would suit your personality getting these in trial vials is awesome, and yes I have a large-ish collection and 90 % is in oil.
  18. I'd go with Harmonious Self. Let's her stay grounded and move from the heart AND mind, without having to potentially battle a pheromone signature that is working against the moment.
  19. I'd love to hear more about the copulins being worn by you, snoopy.
  20. Thanks quietguy, I owe you !
  21. lexykin, I'm still doing that as well (trying out new scents). Scent receptors are right in the brain, so I figure I'm rewiring or keeping things flexible in there. Scent affects me a lot, as do pheromones. It's both a curse and a blessing to be so sensitive Good luck on your journey !! I cant comment on LP Red but I adore OCCO Red.
  22. LOl just did, cause you drew my attention to it. Then let hubby smell my last FB and he totally understood - yay for supportive spouses !!
  23. StacyK, thank you soooo much for mentioning the Etsy site. I would have cried if I had not bought more before this was gone. I ADORE it !
  24. TheBirkeys, you are spot on, at least as far as my own experience is concerned. I was not ready to appreciate LPO when I got my first sampler. it was only months later, when I bought it in the cream form, inhaled...and melted. Suddenly I could smell all the gorgeous complexity and feel it affect me. Perhaps the extra touch connection really helped me open to the experience, perhaps the cops were also involved. I think there was also a certain part of me that sort of rebelled against the "old" perfumes and felt I was more hip if I tried the new stuff. That the old was boring and the new was exciting. Silly me. Nothing about anything Mara did 'way back when' is ever boring or outdated. It's powerful, intense, and yet soothing and oh-so-feminine. And definitely appropriate for right NOW.
