Oooo-this is verrry pretty, Lor! Resiny, Honeyed Strawberry incense to me. Musky, kinda smoky and juicy all at once. Theres alot goin on in this for a Private Edition, I know theres no Champa in here, but I have strawberry Nag Champa incence from the same company that makes the original kind in the blue and white box-it smells beautiful. This scent reminds me of that incense ALOT! With the added bonus of honey goin on. Very very pretty Lor! So glad I snagged a bottle! Good work!

HeeHee---We went to a wedding this weeekend in this HUGE old Catholic gothic Cathedral(the building was gorgeous but the service...man-I started nodding off ) Ha! Thats the way it is sometimes! I give you props for getting your boy out of there! I'm sure you two had MUCH more fun!! I know my boy, my mom and I did after the wedding service!(We went to an Irish Pub and my mom met my boyfriend-she LOVES him-YAY!) My next project is to try to figure out how to post pics in my journal-we took some good ones and I wanna show you all my man and my momma! ps--if you have any tips, i know it's off topic, but i know how to get the pics ON my laptop, just not onto my LP journal...any hints?!

Aw! Thanks TG! Its true! Thats exactly what it reminds me of! The day I busted out of that lonnnnnnnng boring church service and played in the garden as a kid. It took me back!

And again-I detect a very underrated scent here. The year is 1986. I'm stuck in a Mahogany pew at St. Anne's Church with my grandparents, and the bloody, drawn out Stations of the Cross is droning in my ears by some white clad monotone catholic priest...oh the humanity. I squirm. Clack my white patent shoes together and chew on my golden brown curls alot. The church itself is beautiful, the smell of censer incense will always take me back to a special time, but this day-I'm seven years old, and its a beauty of a spring morning. As I'm forced drudgingly to move to the next 'station', I keep catching glimpses of the lovely garden in the churchyard; all roses, peonys, lilacs, snapdragons and bluebells, glistening in the morning dew and bright sunglow.....and here I am- seven-in a pinafore and and a stuffy pew, surrounded by old people and old religion. " Gramma-I gotta tinkle." "SHHH, Lorien, go take care of your bussiness" And I do. I remember running down that velvet isle like the devil himself was on my heels straight into the church garden. I smelled all the flowers in turn, but my favotite have always been the roses. They had Pink, Yellow, White, Red... I buried my button nose and rosy child cheeks in those and inhaled as deep as I could. Then I laid down by the snapdragons and pulled on they're 'lips', rollin around enjoying the garden. Eventually my great Aunt came out and got frustrated with me for dirtying myself. Even at seven-"This is my Church" I said. It remains a family joke today as my mother is a heathen as well. The Scent of Ambrosia's Roses is the early spring morning dew covered scent of the roses from my misbehavior. It is pretty, sweet young and a touch rascally. Where Musky Dusky is a RED SWOLLEN womans rose-Ambrosia's is the younger relative who refuses to wear her corset...It is a gorgeous floral that takes me back on a very specific scent memory-I would love it anyway-but I REALLY love it for that.

Alright, if the New Southern Gothic sells out quick, its beacause Sinister called up the Vampires and told them that they're perfume was ready. So expect a lynchmob from the Louisiana Vamps at LEAST... Haha-I kid you (sorta?)--I already explained how much the description of this scent reminded me of the show 'True Blood', based off the Charlaine Harris novels. The Sookie Stackhouse novels, which I highly reccomend reading, by the the way.. Now for the actual review: Southern Gothic 2009 is PERFECT from every angle. The blending is perfect-ALMOST linear-Yes, the spicy berry berry hits ya first, but only for a few minuites, then it weaves in seamlessly with the dark backdrop of that hand blended patchouli paste,sandlewood and and bergamot. The Vanilla is dark and there the entire time. It could even be worn by men with the right chemisrty! This fragrance is DARK, RICH, and reminds me of some of my favorite fictional vamps. I'm going back to True Blood for a sec-forgive me if you dont know the show-- This scent is too much for Pam or Sookie-Pam wears sweatsuits, Sookies -well-Sookie would do well with Southern Gothic 08 all Gardenia.-----I can even see my Boyfriend Eric(Northman-a Vampire Character) wearing '09. Or The Queen of Louisiana.... Amazing scent Danna. I love it! It's a dark, cloudy stormy day in Detroit today-I'm wearing Southern Gothic and I'm in LOVE with this blend-its everything I hoped it would be! Thanks. yeah thats true...but it still shortens the duration a little-and if she's gonna start running herself ragged(SG-I know your gonna do that, even though you should NOT!), it could at least help the dang thing from comin back..but your right Luna, its always best to use that stuff at the first sign of a bug.

Well, Allegro and Mermaids of Atlantis were before my time, but I loves me some Tail! It vaugely reminds me of Nymph, I'm sure its only because its also an aquatic though, the similarity ends there. I can definetly detect the mango, cucumber, and melon in here, as well as the florals, not so much coconut-maybe a smidge-but its very heavy on the aqua blue feel, and I adore it, its a very ethereal scent-the label art fits it perfectly I think. Now for the effects! I waved this under my boys nose(Geena, I know I told ya not to wave bottles under guys noses, but my man is really into scent and pheros too), before we went to the mall shoppin for dresses for my cousins wedding the other day (What a guy-going to the mall...NO other man I've dated has ever set foot in a mall with me!). "Like this one?" "mmm, yeah, wear that." "It's called Tail." "haha, realllllly......?" I show him the label art, "Ooo, very pretty baby, yeah, wear that one" "Mmkay, theres cops in it too".... So, I wear it to the mall, and he's very very affectionate, arms around my waist at kiosks, face buried in my neck, sorta possesive while walking around, ya know, and offering to carry all my stuff. When I actually got to the dress store I had to shoo him off to the bookstore because honestly thats just torture for a man. Not in a good way either(listening to horrid mall music while I try on ten dresses and flip out about stuff). We get home--I am ATTACKED. IMMEDIATLY. In the kitchen. Bags are dropped, clothes ripped off...you know the rest. Tail. It smells Beeeeeyooootiful. And does it work? Why yes. Yes it does. I'm a happy camper-gonna need me some more of this one!

Very creamy and sweet and blended with berry...(the currant, but it smells like 'berry' to me)-yeah, give it a try and let me know what ya think! God-I'm editing this 2 days later-I LOVE IT!!! Mannnnn....this one is SUPER underated in my opionion, Its absoultely DEEEEELICIOUS. What hits ya first(and remains throughout, though fadeing ever so slightly to let in the deeper notes), is this amazing sugary sweet lemon whipped cream with a currant undertone. Its mainly a PRIME lemon sweet cream though-so pretty and edible, I literally DO wanna take a bite. It's like the filling in a lemon sandwich cookie, with the bonus of berry, made much creamier-sortof hard to explain, but I'm tellin ya-If you like foodie sweet dessert scents, this ones for you. I'm sort of astounded it didn't get more attention than it did. After maybe 30-40 minuites, on my skin anyway, those notes remain very much apparent, but that nutmeg creeps in, and its also sweet-a very nice nice compliment to the already prevalent dessert. It just spices it up and makes it sexier. The musk- well I can detect a bit, but it's a skin musk, and if it wasn't I cant see how it would even work here. It literally reminds me a little of the old 70's Bonne Bell classic "Skin Musk"-very light, sexy, thrown in to add some heat and depth but not to overpower the full flavor of this tasty dessert. I'm in FULL FLEDGED LOVE with this LP. I highly reccommend this one. Its perfectly blended, and smells amazing. Give it a spin!

I'm about to go thrift shoppin with my best friend and ex fiance, Eddie. We've been playin the Ramones and Gnarls Barkley(awesome gettin ready music), and I decided I'd give my OCCO RED a spin.... Its SSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOO YUMMMYYYYY..... I smell like an Etenmann's Cinnamon frosted crunch cake with copulins! My mood is boosted and I feel like a trouble maker. The smell IS gorgeous-must now get LP Red. But DAMN-This is GOOD! I'm all happy and feel like a sex goddess. Of course, i must behave. I texted my man and told him I miss him, which I do, but I'm ready to go run amok with Eddie. We've come full circle into friendship again, and as I've stated in my journal, I'm so glad for that. We can even talk about the opposite sex and the other one having a partner now-it's ok. So/He's rolling those big green eyes that I've known for 12 years in impaitence as I write-guess I better go. But What a lovely aroma and incredible-delictable mood boosting scent this is! I'm makeup free, with an old school tee and jean shorts on and I feel hotter than a Victoria's Secret Model. I love this stuff. I had bought the phero boosted limited Edition, and this smells alot different. At first it smells like buttery vanilla pudding! So creamy and good! One of the loveliest vanillas out there, I swears! I dont get any greenery here, but I do get a bit of patch and amber and a twang of apricots as well after about 20 minuites. Still-that creamy Vanilla PUDDING! DEAR LORD! LOVE! I adore it, I like to boost this with BI, the way the LE was made (though they smell very different to me-I got alot less vanilla and alot more patch and greenery in the LE), its a scrumptious mix. Your significant other will want to eat ya alive.

haha,what ya do in church is your own bussiness. Like many of you, I dont get regular bread-but I dont get cake either. You know of 'Challah"(hope I'm spelling it right), its a dense Jewish egg bread that sometimes has cinnamon and rasins in (goodness, I need a spell wizard), anyways, THATS the bread I smell in the topnote of Blessed Sacrement. I get no wine, just the raisens that I still can't spell. Then lovely honey and yes, gorgeous, gorgeous temple incense. Each note takes its turn, and then they all meld together beautifully. Love this one. Sticky, rich, sweet,smoky and...holy. Well done! Edit to Add- On the Drydown, the incense and Smoke REALLY comes into the foreground here, in a very lovely fashion. It takes control, where the raisin bread and honey are barely a whisper in the background, Gorgeous.

Welll.. I can't tell ya much about Cougar, but when it comes to regular LP's, I layer and I get fabulous results! Of course I also order many premade phero boosted scents(like your fave Tail), but boosting DOES get pricey. I also like oil based pheros-no mixing and I find they blend better with the perfume oil and last longer to boot! So yeah, in my opionion, after drydown-just get an arsenal of unscenteds and a bunch of LP's and your golden!

So. You were right and I'm silly! I got Rocket Chick in the Mega sale and was amazed by the deliciousness on cold sniff, so after playing with various other new toys, I layered heavily over a bit of white OCCO. GOD. I fear light LP chocolate no more (I actually like it in the sample of Classic Seduction I got too, but I digress). My boy comes over-he's filthy. One of his jobs is cleaning estates and abandoned buildings all over the city. Today was a doozy-some place in the projects that he related to the movie Gummo. On his way to the shower, he stops to kiss me while I'm cooking dinner and just sorta stays paralyzed "Mmmm-you smell like Ice cream cones" "VERY good honey, its actually astronaut Ice cream" and proceeds to attack me in the kitchen for a few before I tell him he must shower first, dirty boy. Rocket Chick is SCRUMPTIOUS! The dominant note is sweet candy strawberry, powdery and sexy with vanilla and the most mellow of chocolate..very skin friendly-I have the MOST screwy skin chemistry when it comes to chocolate notes, and this smells AMAZING on me! Might have to hoard a little more during the sale... OF COURSE now my EGG fears are all blown to hell as well-gotta get me some of that! Of all the scents I got in my mondo order today, who would have thought I'd face my Chocolate fears first? Well. I'm very gals I did cause it looks like dinner isn't all that's gonna get taken a bite out of tonight! (had to use sir dancing weenie-haven't seen him in awhile). Thanks Ladies for breaking my cocoa boundaries and making yet another tasty scent!!
