  1. Can anyone think of any scents that smell like Sorcerer or La Vie for Men that don't already have pheros in them? I love both scents but I'd like to combine them with something of my own. Any suggestions? Thanks!
  2. If he likes green scents, he'll like this. I have strange women follow me around when I wear this. Great for the ego!
  3. I wore this again last night and I have to stand by what I said before. Very clean, very nice smelling scent that actually worked well even at a Karaoke night. Lots of compliments from it by the woman I was there with.
  4. I finally got around to getting a big bottle of this (and Pendragon) and I am so glad that I did. I love the smell of this (especially after it dries down) and can't wait to wear it when I go out in the evenings. I'd flipped a coin to see which one I'd wear first and Excalibur won out. Very green, very clean scent that somehow still manages to smell dirty (in the best possible way). It starts out VERY green but then dries down very nicely. Every once in a while as I'd go about my day I'd catch a whiff of the Excalibur I had on and think, 'What smells so good?' This actually happens a lot for me when I'm wearing LP's. I love how I can walk past a women while wearing this and the scent catches her attention and she is compelled to follow and catch a closer sniff. This projects well but not in the sense of someone who is swimming in cologne. Just an occasional olfactory caress to bring people closer. Very nice! :Sweet-Turkey:

    Black Candy

This one smelled pretty good on me (I got my share of compliments from it) but seriously, if I smelled this on a woman I'd follow her to the ends of the earth!
  6. Oh wow, that would be a killer combination!
  7. I'd originally gotten this through trade for its intent. What I didn't expect was to love the scent so much. I don't know how a guy smells to a woman while wearing this but I really don't care. I love the scent and I love how it relaxes me.
  8. To my nose it is a new interpretation. It smells to me like it shares some elements with the original but that it is very much its own scent. I'm sure someone with a better nose can chime in much more eloquently, however.
  9. I LOVE this one. Mara and Danna did a fantastic job. I have a female friend who wears this even though it is 'technically' a masculine fragrance.
  10. I haven't tried either of those yet but I'll definitely have to after Pendragon. I like Legend but this one really seems to fit my personality/chemistry a bit better. Between this and Excalibur I just found my day/night combo (hmmm... I sense a trend here. I think I there is a John Boorman film in my future). (I love his sense of humor, by the way).
  11. So this is what an aquatic scent smells like? This scent makes me a happy Snoopy dog. *woof* I just got my sample vial of it today and have already decided to buy a bottle. I really like this scent. Very clean and slightly soapy on me. Perfect for the warmer days ahead. I ended up flipping a coin between trying this one or Fade to Black first. Either way, they both smell great and I can tell that I'm going to be wearing a lot more of Pendragon very soon. I can see where this is a very good scent for a work environment because it is very clean, (I like Pony's description of the being 'transparent and watery'- very true) but I also think this will be a scent that will work for a lot of outdoor events where you don't want or need a really strong cologne. Another home run!

    New lurker

Hello and welcome! Feel free to post reviews of the LP's you've tried before going back to lurking.
  13. Hmmm... This actually sounds like one that might work for a guy who is around women a lot. Just out of curiosity, what do those of you who've tried this think of a guy wearing this?
  14. Speaking as a still "husky" kid I can second the foodie scents. I do have a sample of Pendragon on the way, does that count?
  15. I know! I can't decide which one I want to try. I guess I'll go with a few trial vials first.
  16. Jeez, how do I narrow it down to just 5? (Of the ones I've tried- below are my favorites) Mark's Tonka Tobacum Mark's Pepperwood Excalibur Merlin's Blend Sorcerer (Honorable Mention- I accidently spilled half the sample vial into my underwear drawer) Miss Right... Now.
  17. Hehehe! I had a similar reaction to Mark's Pepperwood out of the bottle. WOAH. I'm not putting this on me! Then I decided I'd better at least give it a try and really liked it. TOTAL power scent that always draws a lot of attention (usually positive). Legend is sort of the antithesis of Mark's Pepperwood. Very smooth and clean. Not quite such a visceral reaction but that is good when you aren't trying to make a bold statement. The Charisma blend also helps as a great social lubricant to make social interactions go very smoothly.
  18. I was just coming here to post pretty much what you already have. I have/had a sample vial of Legend and it is very much a wearable scent. Even boosted with Charisma I have been wearing it at work and found it is a very nice, smooth scent that doesn't distract people as much as some others that I've worn. I can't wear Mark's Tonka Tobacum or Mark's Pepperwood at work because women get a bit too distracted/worked up just by the scent alone. I've been told flat out that I'm not allowed to wear either until after work (and I meet them at the bar ). The Charisma blend is a great social lubricant. Seems to open people up and put them into a better mood. I do see some more romantic interest from women but beyond the classic 'indicators of interest' it isn't as if they are trying to drag me into a file room or anything.
  19. First chance I can afford to I plan on getting another bottle of this and another bottle of Mark's Tonka Tobacum because I love them both.
  20. I'd had a custom PE made up with vetiver, sandalwood and black pepper. I'd thought about doing this for a while (even made a post about it) and decided to go ahead. Ohhhhhhhh... I'm glad I did. THANK YOU FOR THIS. I have to say that I get a lot of compliments when I wear this. I literally have women I know (more than one) tell me that this is the sexiest scent they've ever smelled. They are hilarious because between this and the Mark's Tonka Tobacum I have women telling me they can't decide which they like more. Even guys don't seem to mind this one because it is VERY traditionally masculine where the Tonka Tobacum gets decidedly mixed reviews from most guys I know. I don't necessarily get much vetiver in this. What really stands out is the Sandalwood and the pepper sort of floats in the background tickling the nose. It really does smell very nice. At least on my skin it is a very linear scent without a lot of evolution but that is really okay. I've worn this quite a bit since getting it and have been enjoying it quite a bit. Thanks again for another wonderful scent!
  21. That is a great description of this! I really like the scent of this one.
  22. If your wife likes florals, you may want to look at Evil in Carnation. Not only is the scent amazing, it is one that a guy can wear. Or for something more, uh, intimate, Aphrodisia Erotica is very nice too.
