  1. I got a sampler of this and gave it to my boyfriend. I thought that it smelled really nice in the bottle-- spicy and warm-- and couldn't wait for him to wear it. He said that he really likes it, and he thinks it smells like amaretto. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to get too close to him, as we were going out to the bar with a big group of friends, but I really hope to get him to wear it again soon. :3
  2. Rich, sweet coconut with caramel and cream-- what's not to love?
  3. Hmm... I'm sorry, JOC, I really can't think of any it reminds me of off the top of my head. I just re-sniffed the vial I have of it, and I could be misremembering, but it does have that 'classic perfume' scent that I seem to recall Cuddle Bunny has? Don't quote me on that, though-- I gave away my Cuddle Bunny to a friend who liked it months ago so I can't compare the two. Plus I'm not really good at this whole reviewing thing. Thought I'd get better at it as time went on, but I still have nothing compared to the pros here.
  4. Even though I'm still unemployed I really want some of this month's releases... I'm trying to talk myself out of it, but if I fail I might end up with one (or more if my willpower REALLY fails) of the following: Allumette, Sparkle Fuchsia, or Who's That Lady.
  5. Upon application, it smelled pretty masculine to me (though I think I might just prefer my scents to be ultra-girly), but on drydown, it really mellowed out. It's a soft, musky, almost vanilla-y scent now. I keep sniffing my arms. Very nice. Oh, and in the middle there was a period where the green tea was pretty noticable, and it was a fresh, clean scent-- also nice. I love how they morph! Like three perfumes for the price of one!
  6. I thought that the woodsy smells were the most prominant in this perfume. There's some sugar and spice and everything nice, too. Not quite what I was expecting in terms of how 'girly' it is, but I like it a lot.
  7. Very comforting-- something about the combination of smoke and vanilla (and probably musk) is just great. I usually think that the unisex blends lean more toward the masculine (I guess I like those gourmand/sweet blends for myself), but this one I could see working perfectly on either a man or a woman. Just wonderful, wonderful.
  8. This is absolutely wonderful! Pink, pink, pink! I got some citrus in the background, but it's just a happy, fruity, delicious, sweet smell. And I did notice that I felt bubbly all day, too. Pheros, maybe?
  9. This scent is really hard for me to describe. It's definitely sophisticated, and complex. The overall effect is kind of aquatic on me, with some subtle florals, and if I get my nose really close, I can smell some exotic spices and I think some sandalwood. And I've heard so much about Popularity Potion! This scent really screams sophistication, so I can see how it would help you feel like a movie star.
  10. I have the misfortune of having most honey scents go wonky on me-- they smell kind of harsh or strange, which makes me sad, because I love sweet, rich honey. Somehow, Sexology 2 seems to be safe on me. The honey is gentle and sweet, and in there is a hint of delicious cinnamon in the back, making it even more sensual and heating things up.
  11. 'Delicate' is definitely the word I'd use for this. It's a lovely floral, with rose most dominant on me. The cops did take a little while to dry down, but it was worth the wait! Kind of surprising to me that such a delicate scent could cover cops so well.
  12. An exquisite decadent blend of robust thick vanilla folded into a creamy custard-like eggnog accord, lightly sprinkled with nutmeg and given sexy depth with aged patchouli resin...the perfect luscious vehicle for our outrageously potent exclusive SEXPIONAGE pheromone mix! Magickal Meanings of Ingredients: VANILLA ~ Aphrodisiac, inspires happiness, playfulness, sexual arousal, lust, vitalizing. CREAM ~ Nurturing, soothing, eases troubled relationships. Goddess energy. SUGAR ~ Attracts love, luck, sweetness and riches. Lust inducing. PATCHOULI ~ Soothes and uplifts; sensual, sexually stimulating, lust, fertility, money. Meditative and transforming. NUTMEG ~ Strengthens clairvoyance, luck, money, health, fidelity. ___________________________________________________________ This one is a delicious, rich, vanilla-y scent with some earthy patchouli to keep things interesting. I can also smell a hint of some spices warming it up. When it was wet, I thought I could detect a hint of the 'naughtiness' of copulins, but that went away quickly and wasn't too strong to begin with. Either I've gotten used to the smell or it's just covered really well by this delicious mix.
  13. I haven't gotten a chance to try any of October's scents on my skin, but in the trial vials they all smell out of this world. If I get this job I think I will celebrate by getting the full-bottle monthly set. I can't wait to go back and try each scent more carefully.

    Verhext

When I first put it on, it smelled clean and spicy. Very nice. Then, as it dried down more, I got a very 'pine' smell from it. I could definitely see it working for a man or a woman.

    Vampire Cabernet

On me, this smells very like red licorice right after application. When it dries down, it has a very interesting smell-- it does seem like something a vampire might smell like. Sweet berries, a hint of wine, and the sandalwood and honey make it earthy. It's a dark and mysterious smell to me, if that makes sense.

    Nibble Me This

With this one, I get a woodsy, clean scent with a bit of spice-- just a hint of apple, once I knew to look for it. Probably a bit more masculine than I'd usually wear, but it's nice to branch out every once in a while.
  17. The strongest scent to me was the vanilla, with some infrequent surges in the fruit-- though it smelled more like strawberry than apple or pumpkin to me for some reason. (Maybe I was expecting Neapolitan ice cream from the name.) Behind those is a kind of dry, spicy scent, and every now and again I get a whiff of something almost chocolatey.
  18. Okay, I want to do this without looking at the scent description or the other reviews, to see if I'm correctly interpreting the scents. I think that's what I'll do from now on, just for fun. Then I'll check my answers. So for Flying Potion, I get a lovely, delicate citrus-- not at all juicy or overpowering-- with something that smells like vanilla right behind it. The citrus is kind of to oranges what lemongrass is to lemons. Orangegrass, I guess. When I put my nose close to my arm and sniff in, I get a background scent that's warm and lovely, like woods and some kind of spice. Maybe cinnamon. I put it on this morning, and when I just sniffed my arm now, I get something that smells like sweet fall leaves. Absolutely wonderful. Edit: Oh, I wasn't too far off!

    Fallen Angel

I really like Fallen Angel-- to me it smells like delicious angel food cake and strawberries.
  20. I happened to see the sale... I really went overboard! This is why I've been trying to stay away from this lovely board of enablers and irresistible smellies. I got one bottle each of the following: Fayha; Morning of Glory; Mothership; Scarlet Silk; Siren's Serenade; Amy's P3; Maxine of Arc's Tarty Spiced Pear; The Good Witch; Bloomin' Naughty; Call of the Moon; Dangerous Games; Eternal Chain; Focus Pocus. I shouldn't have, since I quit my job and haven't found a new one yet... I'm starting grad school in about a week, too, and going to a new city. ... But it was a SALE! :sock puppet shaking no ha: Also, I couldn't pass up on the Focus Pocus, given how nervous I am about the workload in grad school. And I couldn't pass up on the other ones because... I wanted them.
  21. As usual, everything looks absolutely fantastic! I just glutted myself on sales items, but I want to reiterate that I hope everything goes well with your legal situation! I'll be sending you good thoughts as hard as I can.
  22. Welcome! That looks like quite a nice first order. The waiting's the hardest part-- but at least it gives you a chance to try to save up money for the next order!
