Heaven. Why did I wait so long to order this??? I don't like Egyptian musk, and, similar to blackcat, something about just the combination of the notes on paper sounded to me as though they might combine to be pointy. It's the opposite. It's silky, pillowy, powdery, creamy, twinkling. It somehow evokes all the sweetness and intensity of roses, but they don't take over the planet the way roses sometimes can (eg, in Nosfy, where the rose expands like The Blob until it has crowded everything else out of the room; I LIKE that, but this blend doesn't do that). It is smoothly mixed into the whole. It has a "breath of fresh cold air" feeling, as though you're in a sleigh under piles of ermine blankets, crossing a meadow silenced by piles of snowdrifts, under a million stars. Sigh. I checked assuming there must be a drop of peppermint but nope, it's just Mara-magick. Its cousins are things like Mel's creamy iris and Molly's blue magnolia. Thanks reviewers for convincing me! I'd have been very sorry to miss this one.

Wet, on my skin this had a pronounced Eastern vibe, like Indian spices- no idea why, looking at the notes – maybe something about the combination of the type of coconut & the type of amber? In mid and late drydown it reminded me most of honey whip. It's tenacious — has been going strong for hours and hours!

Maybe teddybb is worth a try for your next order. You've done well to skip leather and dominance:) I agree you might enjoy cuddle bunny as well. given your age I suggest you start VERY VERY LIGHT (small amounts, and in places where it will diffuse more slowly and naturally, eg, not in your hair) and work your way up. I for one need VERY VERY VERY small amounts of LFM - perhaps you are like me and with your existing chemistry, even the small amount you used was too much? IIRC my first few tries with LFM were frankly meh, but once I got the hang of it ( = tiny tiny amounts, of the 1/3-strength SCENTED phero at that) it has become indispensable to me. Not the to be giving up please! Alternatively ... the pond-scum's-shit masquerading as a human being at that store- it's possible (though hard to imagine, I know) that she is actually usually a much MORE horrible person than she was being, and what you saw was actually relatively polite as far as she goes. Since you're using UN - I encourage you to try an EXTREMELY TINY amount, on people you know, and report back! ETA I see others have posted similar already while I left this page open

Why did I not snag this sooner?? Recent reviews made me make a panic order of one of the very few remaining bottles on Etsy and I'm SO happy to have this. Like amyrose I don't get any medicinal aspect at all (aging, maybe?) - it is a fluffy, almost creamy soft lavender. I don't really pick out the buttercream (it seems to mostly spend itself sweetening and fattening the lavender), the smoke (but I wore it for sleep and by the am it was gone so I didn't get to catch it in the late drydown that Blackcat mentions), or even the white musk (but it must be lending the cool powdery fluffiness).... you know how we talk about how some LPs just suit us so well that we feel like we could almost say, "oh this? I just naturally smell like this" -- this PE is as if lavender were a person and said that. Love ETA needless to say this produces long and deep quality sleep. Has done, for 3 nights in a row

I put this on and it was very smutty from the get go. It's the final proof that my skin has a filthy mind, turns anything but Port Jolie type ultra pale blond honey into I Have Been F***king In This Room For 72 Hours Straight. I get nothing but that SLF, from wet through late drydown. It was still SLFing all over the place 18 hours after I put it on.

Glad to hear that:) I have found it to have an interesting savoriness to it sometimes, as though the buttercream were made with salted butter, which gives a unique quality among the PEs I've been lucky enough to receive from La Master. Gonna put some on now

Broken record: this has aged gorgeously. It's so chewy. The tobacco is much less present now and it's what I imagine fresh and humid piles of tobacco leaves to smell like. It no longer wears masculine or unisex on me - just plain sex. I just put it on to enjoy the scent but then unexpectedly had to be around people and mowed down everyone in my path. Awed unblinking carpet-swan effect on women and with men, a we're-not-worthy worshipfulness, quite over the top- I could've led them off a cliff with them thanking me on the way down

I recently tried a TINY smear of this from the end of a pheromas dropper, so not even anything close to even one drop, split to the backs of my hands, which acted like TMI on my usually quite quiet reserved friend - we were with someone she'd never met before and she was like a firehose of very personal and emotional information that she's never even told me, and we've been friends for ten years! Later she said she had a GREAT time. Lol

Rose I am glad you took what I said in the spirit intended. If you do resume a relationship with her, perhaps it can be with very clearly stated guardrails as to behaviors you will not accept? … She is free to "not change" but anything harmful to you that she thinks, she is to keep to her own damn self. This is a grown ass adult – there are no excuses I hear you and deeply understand what you said, but there have to be reasonable limits. IMO the number of hits you're required to take before you call it off obviously varies among people but it has to be something less than infinity. Allowing her to subject you to the kind of garbage she has historically dumped on you isn't within reasonable bounds of friendship and you're doing her no favors by allowing it- dare I say there's even a point where you in fact become complicit in her continuing to be a wretch!

Hey Rose, the first to mind was something very bonding like G2, so I'd vote that. But as you say, life is too short for this BS - but in my view the BS is her behavior! From the outside it is hard for me to justify that she deserves for you to open this door yet again. It seems long past the point where the "burden of proof" that she is able / willing to participate in an even remotely healthy friendship has shifted to her, and you don't mention that she has in any way provided such proof. I say this not to criticize you but because you are so obviously a very kind and sweet person and the prospect of someone harming you yet again - when it's avoidable - is objectively offensive!
