    Welcome!

This one was very interesting. I couldn't get a fix on it at first. It smelled vaguely of corn and grass and I didn't care much for it. But it later turned to a creamy rice, sort of skin-like, which i liked. I think I will have to rest this and try again later all by itself.
  3. To me, it smells like damp moss. But it's always smelled like that to me, even in New, where others have described it as smelling like powder. Don't be afraid! It's very, very good!!!!
  4. A blast of floral first on but quickly dried down to a softly sweet honeysuckle scent. Actually, i adore the honeysuckle in this one! It's a very true note. Grass can be pointy on me but it is very nice in this, sort of a background note. And I think you oak moss lovers (I'm looking at you, Missdarlyncherie!) will love it. It's a very gentle oak moss but it's definitely there. It never smells powdery to me, only earthy, and it totally works in this scent. It smells like a perfect summer day!
  5. Agreed! First on, this smells like oatmeal raisin cookies just as they're beginning to bake, at that stage where you're like, "Mmm, is someone baking?" After a half hour or so, the raisin came to the front, more so than the spices. the spices just warmed everything up. As it began to dry down, it turned into a creamy, comforting scent. It was foody at first and then more skin like as time went on. The Marine hated it at first because it smelled like food but loved it this morning.Covers the cops like a dream!

Love it love it love it! I went right for this one. First on, I get a blast of cedar and balsam, which I love. They actually steal the show for the first ten to fifteen minutes. Then I get a nice warm wood. There's something softly floral about it but I can't imagine where that comes from. The honey perhaps? No musk or nuts yet, but I anticipate at least the musk coming out in the long dry down. I think this might smell good on the men folks too. I will have to test that theory at some point.
  7. I just haven't had the discussion with my guy so far. I've been slowly introducing him to my love of LP so he doesn't run for the hills! I was shocked by how quickly he got into the men's oils that we haven't even had a chance to talk about the pheros. I will tell him though because he has a right to know what's on his body and how it could cause others to behave. He'll probably be skeptical but I can definitely remind him what Super did to me!!
  8. I got a trial vial of this during the last sale and recently gifted it to my guy. I, personally, liked the scent. In the vial, it was sweet tobacco with a clean sharpness from the eucalyptus. Yesterday, the boy wore this. I didn't recognize the scent, but it smelled fabulous! It smelled like a pipe with that soft, comforting form of lavender that I like, kind of like Halo's Lavender Musk. I couldn't stop smelling him, which of course lead to me being walloped by the phero. Yes, the Marine unknowingly pheroed the heck out of me! I couldn't stop staring at him, and I had to have my hands on him, on his arm or his leg or just holding hands. H ewas just so manly! After a bit, i realized what was happening and asked what he was wearing. It was this!! So i asked what he thought about it. He thought it was a little sweet for his tastes but that he must like it more than he thought because it made him really happy! Bless his heart...he doesn't know. I also told him to not waste it on anyone but me for the time being!
  9. QG sent a sniffee of this to my fellow, and I thought this was divine!!! The wonderful LP base of patchouli and apricot, very creamy but deep and masculine. I adore the sandalwood in men's fragrances, and this is the same type, rich and woody. I don't get any coffee at all, strangely enough. Unfortunately, the man doesn't much care for it. I think it's the vanilla. That doesn't seem to be a favorite note of his. But I will get him to try this on his skin and see if it makes a difference!
  10. This is the second one I'm most excited about. Smoke, tobacco, and leather. Enough said. Maybe the marine will like it, too....!

I just googled it. It is described as having a woody, smoky-sweet scent. I am down with that! http://vetiveraromatics.com/products/muhuhu-essential-oil

Excited! The bear is my totem, and i looooooove the notes in this!!! I love LP's earth notes!!!! The only thing that worries me slightly is the honey. Please, skin, play nice with this!!!!
  13. Welcome!! I agree with Halo. Popularity Potion sounds best based on what you said above, but any of the others listed would be wonderful. My personal favorite is LFM.
  14. Kids or your siblings are likely to be turned off (as well they should be!! lol) by the cops in a phero. I think I have a LAM junkie on my hands! I was wearing LAM Buttercream Peach all day yesterday. The Marine and I were unloading the dishwasher in close quarters, so he got a nice hit of LAM. i asked an innocuous question, and he answered with what I knew to be a lie. i looked at him funny and he said, "I'm sorry. I don't know why i just said that. i don't know why I'm saying anything." And he truly didn't look like he knew what was happening! Then he just stared at me and started blushing. (And we are well beyond that stage.) we moved into the living room and had coffee and watched TV. He kept sniffing my neck and my chest and picking up my hand and sniffing my wrist--all places where I had applied the LAM. i said, "I'm guessing you like my perfume" to which he responded "What perfume?"
  15. I busted out my vial of Aja again last night. The intention was to wear a dab underneath Eternal Chain. So about an hour before bed, I put the Aja on, just a dab. I touched my skin with the little stick on the top of the vial. After about 5 minutes, the Aja had run amok, and it was even more potent than I remembered, so I washed it off. I scrubbed until I couldn't smell it anymore, then I applied my Eternal Chain. The man went nuts! I know he's an est responder, but this was deifnitely a cops like reaction. Even though I couldn't smell it, I knew the Aja was there somewhere working its magic. Flash forward to about 5a this morning when i bolted awake to the aroma of Aja. (Didn't we talk about this stuff waking people up in the night? )That stuff withstood a scrubbing and Eternal Chain, which wears very heavy on me. Aja is no joke!
  16. I don't either Halo, because no one ever scans my package along the way! I get the acceptance at LPMP's post office and then nothing until the delivery scan, which comes after I've already got the box in my greedy little hands! I suppose it may have changed since they follow a different route now, but I don't have that much faith in USPS.
  17. The answer to all three of your questions is that it really varies from person to person. With how much to use, it depends on how the scent reacts with your skin chemistry and even the moisture content of your skin. (When my skin is dry, it soaks up fragrances.) Sometimes I have to use half a vial on me to get noticeable fragrance, sometimes just a dab. As for the Cougar Potion and Garland and Lace, it could be that those notes just don't work for you. I can't think of what it in each off the top of my head, but the notes will be listed in the perfumerie. But be sure to shake the vials to mix up the oils. And again, self effects vary. some people don't even get them! the only solution for both the pheros and the fragrances is to experiment, experiment, experiment!
  18. I've never had a problem hitting my pheromone sweet spot with the enhanced fragrances, and I never had to add extra phero. In fact, a few of the pheros I can only wear in enhanced scents because the UN is too strong. I know different folks require different amounts, but my hunch is if you're wearing 6-7 sprays reinforced with more phero, you might be overdoing it, hence the problem with responses. Why don't you try less of the scents first and see what happens before adding more phero?
  19. Like Tyvey, in the vial this reads as foody on me, like a purple meringue. And it's a very purple scent. It's not very powdery on me, just fluffy. The violet is to die for. But my skin sometimes has issues with grape, and it does in this one. Once on my skin, the grape blooms into a kool aid grape, which is tasty in the mouth, but not on my skin.
  20. I've never heard of Dole Whip either but I think i need it in my life!! This is gorgeous. Gorgeous!! It's sweet pineapple with a punch of tartness from the papaya. The plumeria is right there underneath giving it a dark pink and soft sweetness. It keeps the whole thing from being too fruity sweet. I don't get vanilla until a ways into the dry down, and this thing turns into a pineapple fluff. I agree with the others, a perfect carrier for Levitation.
