  1. Let me say this: after a few hours huffing Garland & Lace, I had to go Have A Moment with my favorite toy and The Trevor Wall. *ahem* A rather looooong moment. Now it could just be my hormones, as they are on the upspring now in my cycle but...I'm still feeling very much Wheeee! even after the culmination of the visualization of various favorite fantasies. *ahem* It's a good thing the kiddo is at his dad's right now. On the other hand, if Steph is also feeling the Giddy Horny, then we know it's a possible self-effect.
  2. Yes I was so glad to get a bottle before it sold out! I am a huge fan of the Sugar-Fried Bananas scent and this is a slightly different spin on that, with the same NOMworthy banana note deliciously sweetened by the other notes. I don't really get the maple so much, but the vanilla, brown sugar and cinnamon most definitely. Totally yummy and cozy!
  3. Hmm, I wonder if the pheros hang on in the bathing process...
  4. The new phone books are here!I CAN HAZ TEH SMELLIEZ!!!11 First impressions... Sugared Moon Dust Oooh, I like this! Sweet warmth, stealth sexy. Nekomusume A lovely fresh primarily plum bouquet for me. Those who like the lighter brighter blends will be happy with this one, I'm thinking. Eanie, Meany, Miney! Danna told me how enchanted she was by the scent of yellow elderflower, and now I understand why. Cougar Potion Awesome as ever! Perhaps even a tad more grapefruit than in the second brew. Offering So interesting, not what I expected! Complex gourmand. Garland & Lace Primarily gingerbread to my nose but totally made of YUM and NOM and WIN. LP Passion & Desire Oh wow. I really hoped this would smell like when I layer it, AND IT DOES. At least in the vial. Blood on Snow Very soft, the currant is just a slight tinge in the top, much like the concept presented. Boddice Ripper Earthy with a slight tinge of floral. When I say "earthy" I mean literally. But oddly enough not "dirty," just a very male vibe. Vamp Cafe What I get is the Southern Gothic '09 aspect with an earthiness underneath, probably the coffee note. Mistress Christmas Looooove pears and this is yummy yummy pear on top of sweetness and a little pinch of the ginger in your nose. Or is that the kiss of Her whip? And also... Mademoiselle Pancake Provided this works with your chemistry, any and all of fans of Sugar-Fried Bananas will enjoy this, I believe. NOM NOM NOM
  5. SS4W is a sexual mix. Stone Cougar is a sexual-social mix, meaning you could use it either way. I don't have a preference for one over the other because they're different. But equally wonderful and effective.
  6. Yes my darling, but 19 is LEGAL. This boy, he was SO NOT LEGAL. And of course the perverted Limey I have sex with every now and again wants me to put away the brain bleach and tell him everything. YOU'RE NOT HELPING, I tell him. But he insists he is, for obvious reasons. And yes, I'm laughing at you. Because I've been there.
  7. Heh, the Succubus was with me just a little while ago...if I believed in Hell, I would surely be going there. Not the Special Hell, mind you, we all know I'm going there...I write fan fiction fer chrissakes! But my son and I went to get ice cream and there was a beautiful beautiful beautiful boy at the Baskin-Robbins who was Surely Not Legal and he was EATING AN ICE CREAM CONE IN A PURELY ILLEGAL SORT OF WAY. For the benefit of his girlfriend, of course. BUT STILL. GOING TO HELL.

    Sultry Afternoon

This reminds me of Love at First Bite in terms of the bright red currant atop a layering of notes which have a soft lush quality to them. I really love the currant varieties in the LP library, they're so versatile. I don't really get a sense of the spice too much, this is really a sexy blending of fruit and honey and musk on me.
  9. Again, so glad the succubus virus subsided after six months for me. I've learned to control the monster fairly well (though someone would say just barely).
  10. I think peach is a good cover for cops in general, though admittely I haven't tried it. But I bet Shelly has amped up her Lascivious Peach with cops and/or a sexual mix and can tell us whether it works or not. Or anyone else who's amped a peach-based LP. I will say, I have social mixes in Kittenish and in Nasty Habits (which has a peach note but is not a peach blend per se) and they worked great, the pheros did not take over.
  11. My excuse is that somewhere in my brain there is a sniggering 12-year-old (which means my son and I understand each other just fine).
  12. Jay Mohr does an awesome impersonation of Walken! I've never seen Pollack's, but I bet it's hilarious.
  13. Being Sinister and all...she prefers nocturnal activities.
  14. ESPRESSO (with yummy stuff): FOR WHEN YOU NEED TO GET EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD FINISHED BEFORE SUNSET.
  15. I think that one (the Sugared Ginger, Gingerbread & Pumpkin) was one that only one or two bottles had been made, so it wasn't available to anyone else except in sniffie form.
  16. I would say that a genuine smile is direct communication. Of course, this is something you have to judge for yourself. Sometimes it's all about the minute gestures... I remember, when Q and I first met, we were introduced and shook hands and I wouldn't have put it down to anythng other than his impeccable manners...but then, in the time which followed at the gathering until we had our first conversation, his eyes were on me. He wasn't smiling but I could sense that he was staring at me the whole time, even when he was talking to other people. And realizing this, I came up to him and just the slightest hint of a smile surfaced and somehow I knew that there was at least a bit of attraction there. But other than his staring he gave absolutely no outward sign of it, because he's incredibly reserved.
  17. I agree that maybe trying from a less directly sexual perspective may give you more useful information.
  18. Not to belabor the obvious...but some married men don't wear a ring. My ex didn't, in fact he refused to (he's a chemist and even with wearing protective gloves in their work they don't tend to wear any kind of jewelry) which I didn't have an issue with. But if this guy showed obvious interest and engagement previously and now he runs the other way?...experience tells me there's someone else in the picture, but it could be something else. Without direct communication there might be no way to know for certain.
  19. Desire, while often congruent, is not always convenient. How much do you know about him? Because it sounds to me like, yes, he desires you madly but is not in a situation to act upon that desire for whatever reason (i.e. is in a committed relationship and does not wish to stray, regardless of the temptation before him). As Dolly noted once, many times some hits are so subtle we might not even notice them, because men will sublimate their obvious reactions for whatever reason.
