  1. I didn't even know! I need to see if I can find my kitteh namesake a tiara at my neighborhood Wally World. Oh and:
  2. I was also thinking...the "youthful vibe" thing, it's attractive to everyone, not just men. A raging assload of cops might make women aware that you are competition depending on the setting, but a more modest amount makes you socially attractive in certain circumstances. Then again...when I wear my OCCO by myself I suddenly find myself even more fascinating than usual.
  3. In my experience, cops impart a "sexual shine" to me that isn't just about sexual attractiveness, it seems. But that's cops in fragrances which aren't entirely sexual either. If I wore Phero Girl to work, for example, then that would more likely get a bitchy response from my female co-workers than when I wear Nakai Nectar or Tail, or even Me, Jane! or PG Cougar. But yeah, A is right, there's a more youthful vibe with cops for older women. Plus, you're likely getting positive response to the fragrance as well, so I'd say BMM is very congruent for you based on the responses.
  4. Isn't it funny that copulins wouldn't necessary send the signal that a woman is a slut and yet...copulins on a guy send that exact message. I would say, though, that copulins definitely send the do me now message in the appropriate context. How one is judged in that context may or may not be affected by how the other person responds to the copulins.
  5. EST junkies, what'd I tell ya! Heh, Lace made me loopy too, but in a different way so far. With Q there's no telling how it will manifest! And daubing is so much fun, I recommend it to everyone!
  6. As we know, this is a variant which is a combination of LP Red and LP Black. Red is predominantly cinnamon for most people, I think: a very sexy spicy sweetness. The brew I originally tried was actually rather soft on me....like cinnamon toast if it were a skin scent. Later brews definitely had more Vavoom! Black has always always been, as I coined it, "sexed-up buttercreme." Sooooo SEXAH (which is different from sexy, you see). Slutty brown sugar in the morning after. Also as we know, people have been layering Red and Black together and it makes for a super delicious variant of its' own. The cinnamon and brown sugar seem to be the strongest notes but the Love Potion characteristic of the base - creamy and thick and sugary around the edges - is like the setting for the jewel: it's there underneath and around the sides, but rouge et noir is the centerpiece. It's very potent, amazing sillage. Anyone you know who responds well to either scent will be slayed by the combination. In fact, much like when I layer them, it's a little too potent in the beginning. But it behaves much the same in combination...after about an hour it's just sooooo wonderful; lickable sexy gourmand which is something more than merely foody. It has a personality all its' own even as it is an enthralling combination of the two. The Love Potion base is just one moment of olfactory genius...but the real genius is that the moment can be reimagined over and over and even combined and is something potentially fantastic each time. Like this.
  7. The violet in this one reminds me of the violet in Honeyed Seductions, which I really enjoyed but it ended up turning powdery on me. The lavender, on the other hand, does not like me it seems...it's a little too brisk for my nose.
  8. Personally, I would pair Heart & Soul with LAM rather than OCCO, unless you have a definite sexual agenda. OCCO has a raging assload of cops after all. But LAM is a feel-good sexual, which paired with the socially adoring vibe of Heart & Soul would accomplish your goals, I think.
  9. I think this would make a good work/social blend (like with Swimming With Sharks or Open Windows) because the fragrance itself is so light and upbeat. The ginger gives it an interesting quality...almost like ginger ale but without the bubbles.
  10. Were we talking to you about this before, or somebody else? I think sometimes - depending on how a person responds - it's a matter of finding the right mix, which isn't always the obvious mix. For example, EST sometimes works better than something more obviously sexual. While I have said that copulins raise the dead, I concede that it's often situational. If it's someone who doesn't respond well to blatant sexuality in general, then cops are going to reinforce the repression which already exists. Sometimes trust and caring are more erotic to someone than flirtation and foreplay. Sometimes desire reveals itself in subtle ways.

    Eye of the Storm

You're entitled to your opinion and I understand your loyalty, but Christopher Brosius IS an amazing perfumer. I agree that his scents are on the pricy side but he has a gift, IMO. And I respect him for walking away from what was an incredibly successful commerical fragrance career in order to follow his own passions.
  12. I've never used it in combination with any other pheromones, but I really like this mix. As I reported in my journal I find it's a great relationship enhancer. And it does seem to make people more sociable, myself included.
  13. She didn't tell me exactly. There's no obvious aspect to me, if that makes sense. My brain says "yes, there's nuts" but nothing which says "yes, that's peanut/almond/walnut/whatever." Just a nutty quality.
  14. Sugared Moon Dust The moon is many things: she is imagination, she is desire, she is sweet comfort and she is mystery. With a bevy of sugars and nuts and a touch of tobacco we aspire to capture all of her aspects in our radiant Sugared Moon Dust, a potion for illumination of your own goddess energy…let it shine. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Magickal Meanings of Ingredients: SUGAR ~ Attracts love, luck, sweetness, riches, lust inducing. NUTS ~ Success, wealth, prosperity, wisdom, intuition, insight. MILK/BUTTER/CREAM ~ Nurturing, soothing, eases troubled relationships. Goddess energy. TOBACCO ~ Healing, purification, spiritualism. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When Mara explained the concept of this one to me, I was naturally very excited because the moon is one of my totems and the idea was very appealing...the thought of the Moon Maiden who was a living embodiment of our Moon. The sugars and the nuts make for a delicious delicate kind of cozy scent, stealthy sexy skin scent. For me, for example - and this is not a direct analogy - but any kind of toffee (sugar, butter and nuts) is a yummy sexy scent. But there's no butter, of course. Though there is a sweet warm aspect of mother's milk which M commented was an evocative reaction of those tested. The tobacco gives it just a tinge of earthiness - M noted it was "vaguely perfumey" - and I agree. A little mystery, just as the Moon embodies mystery along with imagination and comfort. I love this one, it's another scent which is like wearing a much-loved shirt, but at the same time I can see the Moon Maiden I conjured in my description, I can feel her aspects in me as this melds with my skin.
  15. Remember dear, you're asking someone who loves to wear men's scents anyway. But yeah, I'd wear it if I was in the mood for that kind of scent, definitely.
  16. My first impression is that it has a more male vibe, but it's a earthy dark floral, so those who enjoy that sort of thing could wear it, I'm sure.
  17. Well we can only hope she's off having a naughty time, heh heh heh. If only because everyone should have a naughty time now and again. Which reminds me: we'll have to make sure to ask Mara if Garland & Lace had the intended effect on the KSBF.
  18. Here is the thread where Mara talks about doing the rebrew after the original had sold out, or was about to be GGG.
  19. The unscented blend was originally developed by Pharmacom and Stone Cougar is the replacement. The original scented Cougar and the second brew have the Phamacom verison of the CP phero mix. The new one has the Stone Cougar. The original scented PG Cougar Potion sold out fairly quickly and we begged Mara to rebrew it - I never got to buy a bottle of the original, all I have is a trial vial - but when she did it came out a bit sweeter than the original. The new CP is the third brew and resembles the second in terms of its' overall scent.
  20. Okay so...this is just a comment on the scent. As I said, I already know what Stone Cougar does for me and have reported on it, so barring new hits I have nothing more to add. Original Cougar Potion I think Mara commented either last year or the year before that the original had a bit of "yellow rind" in terms of the grapefruit notes, and it is tart. I wouldn't say it's a liability but at the time I remember kind of shying away from it for that reason. The grapefruit in Money Honey reminds me a bit of this, it has a yellow quality as well. Cougar Potion second brew Love at first sniff. Absolutely perfect pink grapefruit musk which led me to coin the whole "sparkly" metaphor which luckily everyone has agreed with and brought into the LPMP lexicon. The flagships of the phero line: Phero Girl, PG Dominance and PG Cougar Potion, were all perfect combinations which helped many of us to finally embrace pheromones for good (sometimes bad) and all. Cougar Potion third brew I would say this is a bit more tangy, the grapefruit is sweet but it's really high and bright. I'm thinking that's the inherent sparkle factor maybe given a little nudge. Still that lovely soft muskiness underneath, sexy skin scent made shiny with citrus, how that's for a tagline? Adrienne's Tangy Ylang The grapefruit and the sugar are predominant to me, but there's a layer underneath which gives it a feeling of other while still being sparkly. Maybe the floral aspect, to my nose, is making me think creamy, sort of. That said, this is one of my favorite PEs, a great synergy for Stone Cougar and a lovely feel-good kind of scent.
  21. LOL, I feel ya babe. Even though I do have toys and an entire bedroom which can be used as a visual aid...the Woobie got an earful last night regarding my extreme horniness. And it wasn't entirely happy happy joy joy. But he said, "That's what you get for your Mad Scientist predilections, darling."
  22. That was directed at Shelly re: the effects of Lace. For me, Tangy Ylang was more grapefruit than ylang ylang. The combination of the sweetened grapefruit and the amber is what reminded me of the second brew CP (the first brew was actually more tart).
  23. You're just not reading the right thread, missy. I'll discuss the scent tomorrow. The effects of Stone Cougar I already know about. However, I'm of the opinion that Tangy Ylang was a lot like the original CP, so I imagine the similarity will still exist.
  24. Well a-nol is a proven happy potion, for sure. I was just surprised that - combined with the EST - it had such a specifically sexual effect on me.
