I'm rather older than you guys, but the symptoms all fit, and I wasn't menopausal when I finally had the lone remaining ovary removed with the monster mutant cyst. I'm also on metformin and estrogen, but those have only been for a couple months. I immediately felt a difference, but still haven't gotten a reaction from hubby on the pheros. Of course I'm still trying to get things back stabilized so maybe that'll help. I've not had the long testosterone exam. Not sure about that, but from certain side effects it wouldn't surprise me. Rosebud posted just before I did and after reading her post, I must admit I tend to be treated as "one of the guys," and have always been a bit of a tomboy. Maybe I need to be adding some cops to my regular routine, and then douse myself when I'm at home with the hubster.

Oh geez...I never thought about the PCOS being the reason for the problem. YES! So far I have yet to get my husband to respond to any phero to any degree. I ended up having a partial hyst some years ago, then (since they left one ovary) a huge surgery about 1.5 years ago to remove a giant mutant cyst monster from my insides. PCOS was not presented as a possible diagnosis until after everything was gone to diagnose it, but that's what we believe I had. I've not been able to get much in the way of recognition from any but socal pheros to date. I've not slathered any sexual ones to that degree, especially ones containing cops because I don't wanna risk smelling like I haven't bathed in years. Ohmigosh. I wonder...

Mara sent me a tester of this so I could try out the Popularity Potion. I carefully hoarded it until a good opportunity came along - which was yesterday. I had a book reading/signing that I was VERY anxious about going well, as it was with a Sherlock Holmes club. I opened the little vial and sniffed it - swabbed it all over cleavage and neck and wrists, and the scent was the same. To me, this is Love Potion Orange! That's exactly what it smelled like to me - an LP base with citrus! <3 <3 <3 I overlaid it with Elementary because, after all, this was a Holmes book reading for a Holmes club in a traditional Irish pub. It made a nice blend - the DC softened and feminized the Elementary. Drove up 2 hrs, set up, had lunch, freshened the DC/PP on my wrists, and launched into reading. They were captivated. I read for 45 minutes. Every time I broke to take a sip of water, they applauded. I sold SCADS of books. I haz a happee.

This is one of the few times when a post deserves a "LIKE" button, lol.

I took the first of my 2 wax melts (sugared resins & sugared F&M) and cut a piece off it (my warmer doesn't have a very big bowl) when I got it a couple months ago. Granted I don't burn it but every so often but it is still going strong with no more added to it! LUUURRRVVE it!

Another company's pheros, which were alcohol sprays, typically lasted about 4 hrs on me. I seem to be getting 6-8 hrs of effectiveness pretty easily on the oil-based pheros here. I like that.

Heh, I just noticed I'd ranked up. Pretty cool. Witch Hazel. Not only do I use it on my face, my gm's name was Hazel. But she was a schoolmarm.

I haven't noticed a loopy feeling with my unAudacious, but then I got it in oil. I like the way it makes me feel - sexy and out there and a bit daring, like, do you really wanna mess with this, big boy? Hehehe

Oh this fragrance was delightful! I know that Perfect Match has had positive fx on my BFF so I was confident in that. When I put on the Portmanteau last night (it was late, I wanted something that wouldn't necessarily wake me up, but be soothing, and the ingredients list indicated that) it was just wonderful! I got EVERYTHING all at once in the wet stage! All the nommable vanilla, the incense-y and musky goodness, underlain by whiffs of evergreen! It dried down just as beautifully, just as harmoniously! This is gonna be a fave! Wearing this around the BFF, I can tell you!

I had a very great fondness for a certain new MX over at another phero site, but I think Audacious and Lumina have blown all those right out of the water. Not to mention just having access to all these wonderful perfumes! *happyhappy*

Have an online convention this weekend and never used my webcam setup before, so am nervous! Went kinda phero-crazy and applied Rocket Fuel III, Audacious, and rollon Lumina. Feeling better now. And sexy. And excited (no, not THAT kind of excited!)...

Hey, geez, it isn't your fault, Mara! If the vendor screws up, it's the vendor's fault. Shit happens. Good grief, does it happen. (Yeah, been a bad day.)

*waves* Not only am I awaiting my huge LPMP order, yesterday I went shoe-shoppin' and went makeup shoppin' 2 days in a row - and bought makeup stuffs, though not shoes. And in all respect, I beg to differ with Lady V - shoes do care how big you are. It's called shoe width and, in boots, calf width. *sigh*

Note I did NOT say, "Bless her heart," I said "Bless her." There IS a difference! (Tone of voice has a lot to do with it too.)

Moonholly, FWIW, I got my first scent locket yesterday and put some Night of the Fae in it. Now, I've worn that fragrance many times before and never had a problem; I like it a lot. But never having had a scent locket before, I put waaaay too much on the pad and I got all messed up with watery eyes and nose and junk, and had to take it off. Today I'm stuffed up. I also can't do most florals (not all, just most - I have to try 'em out to see). Basically, I'm sensitive, and any scent that is too strong will produce that reaction in me. It sounds like you have a sensitivity to something also; I'm in full agreement with Mara on that. Bless her, she's been helping me with that...

I may have to emulate Countesszero and order more things later in the month. I dropped about $150 last night alone. I can't do that too often!
