Yes yes! I need more. I can't be without Flying Potion! This version is very marshmallow forward, so fluffy and airy. The spices are tame, and the grapefruit and ylang add something to the scent without taking over. I love how this reminds me of Fall/Halloween time. It's my LP seasonal favorite! I need back up bottles for sure!

STOP MAKING THIS SOUND LIKE SOMETHING I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT!!! I've only ever had samples of Flying Potion (14, 15, and I think 13?) Anyway, I love them all and use them sparingly because I never buy a FB. in time and it sells out. Versions 14 & 15 are almost gone now. Sadness, I know. I'm a marshmallow fan so this version sounds so fantastic!

I could smell Mara's determination to make this the best Flying Potion to date. You can smell the - Oh hellmotherfuckin Yesssss!!!!!! Do not wait on this! Don't buy Starbucks all week and get this instead! I can't believe I just said not to get Starbucks for a week. Yes it's that good!!

This one reminds me a lot of the original too (like last year did). At first I get quite a bit of the ylang but in the drydown it's nearly all marshmallow/licorice with just the lightest dusting of the spice. The only real difference I'd say is that I don't get the tangy part at all, which I do in the original. I really like the fluffiness of this version, like a giant marshmallow I can ride into the sky, whee!

Flying Potion is like a fluffy marshmallow cloud of happiness. It's creamy with a touch of brightness thanks to the ylang. I do find this fragrance to stay rather close to the skin.

It's a tad sweet for me, but then I tend to gravitate towards the unisexy scents. BUT I am wearing this daily to uplift my coworkers during the election stress and the effects for us all are immediate and oddly no one comments on my scent. Perhaps the throw is not very far ? I usually stick to oil because we have an unspoken rule about not wearing perfume in our small office. Maybe their noses aren't picking it up as a perfume, or maybe we all just need it that badly right now. Not sure. But it's been a lifesaver.

So I wore this to a dance on the weekend and had a couple of massive hits. I've written about them elsewhere but I feel like I should probably put them here as well. First of all, one of my friends told me how great I smelled about three times - like a basket of luxury sweets. Everyone was very friendly, I was asked to dance many times, and generally had a great night out with my friends.

 

But two of my friends in particular seemed to be having a competition to see who could cuddle with me the most. I should mention that they are cuddly people in general, although not usually to this extent.

 

So one of my friends is actually a man with whom I share a mutual attraction. We both have our eye on one another but he has stated that he will not date me because he thinks it could create problems in our larger circle of friends. I think he's silly and I'm also quite sure he has other reasons, but I respect him so we keep it down to mild flirting and he seems to be very conscious, in general, of spending too much time near me. I have noticed before that he is a big responder to OW but I don't think I've tried Levitation very often around him.

 

Wow. When I showed up he pulled me into a hug and held on for a really long time, making a humming noise like he had just been reunited with his soulmate or something. All night long he kept putting his arm around me and talking to me, or watching me while I talked or danced with others. When the two of us danced together he moved straight to a close embrace hold, which is uncharacteristic. Later on he pulled me into his lap where he was sitting down and wrapped his arms around me, closing his eyes and breathing in deeply. He seemed kind of intoxicated by me, if you want to know the truth. Given that he is usually wary of his attraction for me, it was kind of awesome

 

The other friend often puts his arm around me and sits with me but this time it was more extreme, and when I was sitting between the two of them it almost seemed like he was trying to pull me away so I could be with him more.

 

A third friend, who is a straight woman, as am I, was being very giddy and silly with me - even flirty a little.

 

Meanwhile other people who I don't know very well were quick to ask me to dance and kept smiling at me and standing around chatting with me and in general acting like I was absolutely fascinating.

 

I'm pretty sure that Levitation is not supposed to elicit this particular response but it was remarkable. I must have found my sweet spot with this one

I just tried one spray yesterday to try out the scent. I get a lot of marshmallow and licorice/anise with a hint of grapefruit. Barely any spice. Not sure if my nose is being weird, but it almost overall reads to me as a... bubblegummy smell (though not in a bad way)? Need to let my sample rest a bit and try again. I did blind buy a FB just because I have a sample from 2014 and love it (though that one is definitely more grapefruit forward), and I've wanted to give the Levitation phero a shot because I've loved Open Windows so far.

I'm pretty sure I used three sprays, but they were not full sprays. They were probably one half to 2/3 sprays.

I keep a sample in my purse for 911 situations. I used it at Ralph's the day after elections and one of the bakers offered to make me jumbo sized brownie cakes. All because I asked if they were out of stock. Hell yes I took her up on that offer. Also while checking out I asked about the Russel Stover smores snack packages and the cashier never heard of them, but she called her manager over so they could locate some for me. It was period eve. I loaded up on wine and chocolate, and FP. This stuff is incredibly valuable!!

So I haven't given this a good try yet but I decided I needed it today. I smell AMAZING! I swear this one sings when I put it on. It's this happy sunshine dance song. It's that song little kids dance to when their super happy and excited! You know, the one no one else can hear. I'm so happy I got a FB this time. I get this poof cloud of Marshmallows, Ylang ylang, with a sparkle of the grapefruit. The licorice and spices are very subtle but still there. The grapefruit is just enough to make it sparkle but not too much to overwhelm me since it amps on me and goes to horrible places. LOVE LOVE LOVE this one!

I am about to spend three and a half hours in the car with my folks and then all day and evening with a house full of people (all of whom I love, but people are not my best thing) and I've been glumly contemplating my LPs trying to think what would work the best, mostly looking at TH stuff. I totally forgot Flying Potion and Levitation! It's PERFECT, just what I need. thank you!

Personally I recommend TH for that. I've tried em all!! As far a family gatherings go. Nothing works (on my group) as good as TH. Nothing.

And, keep in mind TH gives me no selifies, nada, zip, zero. But, it doesn't matter. The effect it has on everyone (male and female) gives me more than enough good vibes to get by.

ETA- I do sometimes combine it with a small amount of LACE, just for me.

i'm having almost exactly the same experience so far! tried one spray for a test drive, put it aside for number of weeks, and recently came back around to try it again. i got a lot of marshmallow, a lot of licorice, and a bright flash of grapefruit, but each scent seemed to exist singly on its own, rather than playing with or melding with the others. and after the drydown it coalesced into something that felt strangely familiar, and i couldn't quite place it...until it hit me: on me, it smells just like Wrigley's Juicyfruit gum. kind of appealing actually, but not what i was expecting.
