  1. Finally nabbed myself a bottle of this and I'm so glad I did! I love the 2013 version, which I'd describe as being much stronger on the foody notes, with a heavy grey/purple toned sweet, slightly spicy creaminess. This 2014 version is much lighter and brighter, with a more perfumey tone to it. I can smell the grapefruit (which is a note I'm not in general a huge fan of), but it's a lovely wispy somewhat dry grapefruit note that melds beautifully with ylang ylang, marshmallow and vanilla to create a slight floral, subtle and sophisticated feel. It's like this is the spring/summer version and the 2013 is the autumn/winter version. They do combine wonderfully together though, if you want to make this version a little deeper and more robust. Lately I've worn the 2013 version and have had several people describe it a lovely lavender-like scent, which makes no sense to me, except that it's a grey lavender colour to me. This one however seems to come across to them as a more complex perfume scent they love but can't define.
  2. Late response here Princess, but in Cuddle Bunny the scent of cops would be overwhelming the scent of EST. I'm trying to start figuring this blend out now. It feels inconsistent in terms of seeing any effects or not. This seems to be one of those blends where some people need a mega-dose for really good effects, so maybe that's all I've been doing wrong so far. I'll try 5 sprays and see what happens.
  3. Welcome Princess! That sounds quite close to what my straight EST spray smells like to me. It's a soft, powdery pleasant smell. Pop potion has EST in it, so that's probably contributing.
  4. Leather or SWS could work for you here- professional, in control and needing to be respected. But if it were me I'd try LFM first, because at work it makes me a carpet swan, and everyone knows swans are a bit scary close up.
  5. So glad it worked for you Phergineer. I have a bottle I haven't tested properly yet and you've inspired me to maybe give it a go at a Christmas thing I'm going to.

    Pink Elf

I've been so excited about trying this one. Put it on last night, sniffed and thought "Errgh! Red berries headbutting with gingerbread spice. That can't be right." And then, within minutes, the magic happened. The berries subsided to a smooth and elegant pink whisper, the gingerbread calmed itself, and the whole thing became soft and creamy and delicious in a warm, somehow milky way that was very nommably enjoyable.
  7. Welcome! I would second Treasured Hearts for family stuff, and love Sexology, Perfect Match and Lumina for bonding and also SS4W for attraction.
  8. Welcome CerisLou! If you want to look at the UN pheromone trials on the Etsy site type in LovePotionPerfumes (one word, remember the s on the end or it doesn't come up for me). Enjoy your new addiction...

    Cauldron Cake

My sister adores this one- it was her first LP love. So I snapped up some bottles in the sale to give her a Christmas surprise. Glad I got a few bottles though, because now I love it too! It's warm and gooey, cakey and creamy and spicy in a more rounded, smoothed out way than some of the other spicy ones are to me. Wearing it feels like being slathered in decadent nommable festive spirit.

    Caramel Musk

Oh no, lol! I meant that in Sneaky Clean it's 1/3 the strength of the UN version, as all the scented blends are. So far I've found that SS4W works well without mega-dosing. But if you've tried more conservative amounts then I'd say go for a big shot of it at once and see where that gets you.
  11. Put this one on tonight because it comforts me and makes me happy. The first few times I wore this it came across as very foody and did remind me of pancakes. Now it seems a bit more subtle and very elegant. It's got an almost floral note in there somewhere, which is adding a delicate touch to the deeper warmth of its main body. There is definitely magic in this bottle. Wish I had more than one.

    Caramel Musk

Yes! It's such a beautiful subtle skin scent. I have a spray as well as the oil, and I spray my clothes and it lasts all day and gets even better after it's settled in. I wouldn't pair Caramel Musk with Bang or LFN because I wouldn't trust it to cover the cops, but the Cougar and LFM should be fine to wear with it. As for figuring out your SS4W, I first got it in Sneaky Clean, and at that 3rd strength of the UN it worked great for me from the start (I do use the UN as well now). Since you really like Caramel Musk you might also like Sneaky Clean- to me there's a similar feel to them, even though they're also very different. And they go beautifully together by the way.

    Caramel Musk

Ephoebe, I love wearing this with socials and sexy socials. It pairs really well with SS4W, because it's soft and elegant. I've added some to an UN spray of Open Windows, and have also worn it with Heart & Soul, Treasured Hearts, Lumina and Lace. It's a great one to wear alongside other perfumes too. I have a Lumina spray lightly scented with Sugared Amber, and adding some Caramel Musk as well makes it sooo delish!
  14. Goddess in Japan, I think that was me- because a true narcissist is sociopathic, so trying to encourage empathy is like fishing in a dry river bed. It might have felt to him like the emotional equivalent of someone jabbing you repeatedly with their finger to get your attention, because he can't connect with those emotions it just becomes immensely irritating. So glad Heart and Soul works well for you though. Good to know. Seajammarket, while I've not had any bad reactions from others I totally agree with Blackcat that this is some powerful stuff, and can become completely overwhelming. I think I wrote about my most intense experience with this somewhere else- basically I wore it to a smallish social gathering when I felt a bit socially vulnerable, and ended up feeling swallowed up by a black hole of despair that actually belonged to someone else there. That man hanged himself later the same day and I felt haunted by the whole thing for ages. Use with caution.
  15. I have to agree this one has an inherent sensuality to it. When I first put it on I almost feel like it's not there, but then for hours afterwards I'm getting wafts of the most gorgeous, soft, elegant, feminine scent that doesn't even smell like lavender to me. To me this scent should be called Beautiful Skin, because it just seems to make me feel like I'm emitting this totally natural, utterly beautiful aroma through my pores. This is what I wish lavender would always be like- a pale ghostly whisper of itself (some lavenders are way too over the top for me). I wish there was a virgin version of this- I'd buy sooo many bottles and boost it with things like SS4W, Levitation and Pop Potion.

    Lava Rain

Got a bottle of this one with my last order. I never would have gone for it myself- I would have guessed it to be too heavy and molten, but I'm loving it. It's such an intriguing scent, and so beautifully captures certain natural elements that it actually feels like there's a secret landscape trapped inside my bottle. I can smell the aquatic element right from the start. It smells very similar to the scent of rain when it first hits the ground in an evening storm- clean, fresh and ozone-like. It's the scent of air and water inextricably combined. But it's also grounded by a smoky earthiness that sits beneath it. This part of the scent isn't hot or fire-like to me, but like the scent of stone and earth cooled and steaming at the touch of the rain. There's something very clean about it. After a couple of minutes it retains its natural world aura, but it also gains a clean, calm note that makes me feel like I've just bathed under a waterfall. There's nothing soapy there, but something that just starts to approach that kind of clean, softly sweet smelling scent. I'm wondering what this would feel like paired with sugared smoke.
  17. Yep, I've gone through a bottle and a half already- because I've even added some to some unscented phero mixes, which it covers beautifully. I loves it unhealthily and will cry like a baby when it's all gone. I've already started looking at other scents that might feel/smell similar to me, but haven't found any yet.
  18. Yep Bella, I love how the Cuddly Bunny scents are so innocent smelling, and there's never any trace of cops smell. This scent really makes me happy.
  19. Wow, I didn't even know these were up yet! I've only just got my greedy mits on my November order, now there's more goodies for the takin'. Love the beautiful labels and Luna's descriptions. Pink Elf, Ashes to Dust, Lost Luggage and Snowman Poop are really intriguing me. And Winter's Grace is a total mystery- how will the scent of eucalyptus blend in with the other notes, I can't even begin to imagine. But I adore TH, so will be grabbing a bottle.
  20. So delicious! On me this is a bright, juicey, sweetly dripping golden apple. I can smell the sun, the lushness of the bitten fruit, the sweet tartness of apple flesh, and feel a sense of being surrounded by a spring garden bursting with life. The scent is so innocent but enticing, so naughty and nice. If I were Catholic I'd imagine this as the scent of the apple that led to original sin.
  21. Sooo many thanks for the beautiful package I received today! I've been stroking my new preciouses, and am already in love with the first 2 I've tested- Ladybird and Living Doll (they actually go really well together if anyone ever wants to add some cops to Levitation). Thanks so much for the wonderful gift too- it is so perfectly suited to me right now, it's like magic.
  22. If you have a bottle of this one and find it's a bit strong or sickly or cough-syrupy, then I might have found the perfect solution: Tonka Musk. I put some of this on my wrists last night- a good dollop. And it went menthol-like after a few minutes. It's a very strong scent, and I wanted to calm and soften it a bit, so intuitively I put some Tonka Musk on top of it. Stroke of brilliance! The creamy pale grey lavender (colour, not scent) of the Tonka Musk scent beautifully transformed the bright candy purple/pink of Tickle Tickle. No more menthol or excess syrupy sweetness. It felt softer, lighter, more subtle and balanced. Give it a go...
  23. Yeah, it's that increased openness I seek too, and which continues to elude me. I didn't mention SS4W myself, even though it's a favourite, because for me it makes people admire me, and compliment me, inspires DIHL, etc. But it kind of keeps me a little more removed from people, and unless I'm in a position to play an active role in closer interaction with those around me, it won't encourage them to approach me first. Once I get talking to people they say the nicest things to me with this blend though. But for fitting into a larger group I wouldn't chose it myself. One blend that I actually like to wear as a social is Sexology, but in a clean scent, not the scented Sexology perfume. I hesitate to mention this because it is a sexual blend with cops, but if you're going out with your finace and his family/friends, or staying in with them, I can't see what's wrong with it. Others may disagree. I mention it because it makes people seem to feel closer to me (men and women), and inspires the sort of slightly deeper, more genuine conversation I do better with than idle chitchat. It also makes me feel beautiful, calm and sexy, and I feel adored by others. Almost glowy even. Yeah, it makes me glowy and serene. People are gentle and thoughtful with me when I wear this.
  24. Phergineer, I have devoted much of my pheromone testing to seeing which blends can make it easier for me to interact better with others. And like you I've found that while many blends are fantastic for altering other people's behaviour, they don't seem to have much of an impact on me, or if they do it's a subtle one. Like Lace makes me feel very girly and beautiful, but that doesn't make me much more sociable, etc. I truly believe that strong introverts will not necessarily experience the same high level of self-effects of social blends. True Confessions and TMI don't make me spill the beans, even wearing them practically up my nostrils, TH causes a nice feeling amongst the gathering, but won't alter my level of openness. Same with OW, and H & S. A large dose of Lumina works well for me, because even though I still feel quite uncomfortable around others, the glittery-eyed joy they find in me seems to move things beyond the level where that even matters very much. A large dose of Flying potion can also make me more upbeat and makes people enjoy being around me a lot. I have not discovered any blend that can actually turn me into a temporary extrovert, or that even completely takes my social anxiety away. The most I hope for is to use the blends that make others respond better to me, which can make me a little more comfortable, and to try to fake a bit more social interaction than is natural for me. ETA: Don't know if this is an introvert thing, but if you're like me I'd advise steering clear of LFM- it makes me way too inwardly focused and intense.
  25. Blackcat, have you got The Big Easy as well? I'd love to know how the two scents compare. Is it a different type of lavender?
