  1. I wouldn't spray Sexology on clothes/hair. I think you could layer it with Closer, but on naked skin. But just keep the "more is not necessarily better" thing in mind!
  2. Cougar has such a light amount of cops in it though...not as much as Blatant Invitation for example.
  3. The BF likes this one a lot...said it smelled like ozone in a lightning storm. That's what I was going for scent-wise, fresh and rainy and airy. Not as forbidding as it may sound though, it's quite a friendly scent, and so is the phero.
  4. This is what I do..... If it's a sexual blend and has copulins in it, apply to naked body first and let it dry down...do your makeup etc, while you are waiting....then apply everything else on top. If it's a social phero with no copulins, I use it like a finishing spray. Apply everything else first, then spritz skin, hair and clothes last. What does everyone else do?
  5. UNE is the equiv of Phero Girl UN is the equiv of Super for Men could I have made it any more confusing?
  6. Yeah, I was reading the original books in French (kidding, English) and they used that word like 500 times, and I thought it was a kinda cool word...already being used in English for the perfume Ambush. The label was one of the original cover sketches. I thought the font looked like it could have been scratched with a skinny French sword. (LOVED the first two books, btw. Still working on the third.) The scent itself was requested by HMMB's husband. Said he wanted a patchouli/musk. Wanted something like his fave, Sorcerer, but darker. Snoopyace also wanted a Sorcerer variant so I went with the manly patchouli/musk idea.
  7. Oh, wait, which is it that you pickle with alcohol? Liver or kidneys? I did more than my share of "wine tasting" in my youth! Looks like my brain might be a little pickled too - I can't remember the right answer!
  8. There's always *UN for Men* - similar scent, no pheros. One of my fave "pillow" scents.
  9. I haven't used my eggs .. but I fear my kidneys have been sorely tested over the years.
  10. It's apparently very ethinicity specific. I was offered that figure by an "egg bank" - a friend worked at one, and said they were short of eggs in my type of bloodline. Leslie was offered $100 grand by a German businessman, who wanted her baby because she's full blood German on both sides of her family. My friend who did it - she's got black hair and blue eyes and had already given birth to two healthy sons. I still have a friend who works at an egg bank...I could ask her about it just for the sake of curiosity if anyone is interested. I remember her asking things like how old your grandparents lived and family health issues, etc. It's not JUST looks they're after.
  11. It's a carnation-based scent. The ingredients were balanced very specifically for their intent. If you want something with Daisy more to the fore, try "Marigold and Amaranth".
  12. OMG, Invi! I am so happy to see that you have Lestat back. Whew! I read a while back that he got out of the house and I have been petrified to ask you for an update. So relieved!
  13. I was once offered $20,000 to donate eggs, and my singer Leslie was offered $100,000 for her eggs plus to carry the child. That was 20 years ago...so with inflation.... No really, we both said no. But I had another friend who said yes. She donated eggs twice, to the same couple, and they paid her $15,000 each time.
  14. This was the big hit with my boy as well. He wore this one several times during our trip and also Thunder - but the attraction to that may have been equal parts scent and THE HAMMER! (He be a Viking too, like our Ravenwing.)
  15. Ok, the PE page is now up in the cart too - so that means you have access to everything. I will do the extra pages in the midst of the night...
  16. Front page is up! Perfumerie...check. Cart pages up so far: New Releases, Trial Vials, Specials....working on PEs next and then the rest throughout the night. Thanks everyone! I think Luna kicked ass this month in an exceptional way, must say!
  17. PE's? I also just got a reorder from the designer of Lauren's Sweet Pink Fairy which I will brew tomorrow, so if anyone else wants some, let me know and I will make extra. I was planning on shutting that off on the last day of the month, but I will leave it a little while longer since there is interest...how about we say - December 17th - 2 extra weeks to shop for them?
  18. Sorry for the wait, everyone. I had planned on programming yesterday after I got back but I was just tooooo tired. So I am programming today and they will be up by this evening sometime. Also wanted to extend an invite for sharing something that I am making for my own family for holiday gifts. I did this last year and it was such a huge hit that I am doing it again. I made a set of 3 scrubs, in the fancy blue 4 oz containers, stacked up and packaged in a tall organza pouch. Lovely labels, the whole presentation is beautiful. Last year I did 1 sugar scrub, 1 course salt scrub and 1 coffee scrub, but this year I am planning on doing: 1 sudsy sugar scrub 1 non-sudsy butter/sugar scrub and 1 brown sugar/coffee scrub I haven't decided on the scents/flavors yet, but want to know if anyone is interested in getting a set so I know how much to make, (and will take suggestions for the scents). The shipping on these is $13.50 per flat rate Priority box - they are heavy, but I think I can fit 2 sets, maybe even 3, in a flat rate box. The price of the set is $30 each. Let me know if you are interested. Hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend, Thanks for your patience everyone...off to program now! xoxoxoxoxoxox
  19. Hi, Crooked Teeth! True Confessions is 60% Beta-Nol / 40% Alpha- Nol TMI is 80% Beta-Nol / 20% Alpha- Nol
  20. I have cream/white cotton pillow cases and quite frankly I am not that concerned if I stain them, but so far I don't think I have and I do this at least twice a week. I use the roll-on bottles and draw a big *S* across the pillow. You can see the S while it is wet, but then it disappears. I haven't noticed any permanent stains....but again, I'm not that eagle-eyed about them anyway. There's no artificial colors in the perfumes, so no color stains. I don't think you'll build up a tolerance to them only using on occasion...and also using different formulas as Beccah suggested, that's a good idea...even if it's just change of fragrance but the same phero. Keeping the experience fresh in one way or another should be helpful.
  21. If you find you are not reacting to a soothing phero when worn on your skin, try just applying it to your pillow. I do that. Teddy Man with Teddy BB in it is one of my fave pillow potions. Makes me feel calm and safe and helps me to sleep. I find that when I roll a few stripes on my pillow, the effect will last around 3 days.
  22. LOL! No! Most people are immune to what they themselves are wearing. It becomes part of *you* and gets passed by. You can't smell your own breath...you can't smell your own perfume after a few minutes, unless your attention is drawn to either for some reason. I think those of us that get self-effects from pheros probably would not do so if we wore the same blend every single day...our brains would process it as part of us. Do you get any effects when someone you are with is wearing them?
  23. Worked like mad-bunny-luv over here... le sigh. Shhhhhh, he's sleeping..... This was the BFs fave of the month's releases on me...and he picked Pashazade for hisself.
