  1. @luna65 I’ve not smelled  Rose Dust, so no comparison, but I agree with your description of Ruzina Prasina.  I grow roses, and this has a distinct musk rose scent.

I like it a lot, but when wet, during those first few minutes, I’m still not crazy about it.  I can’t pinpoint what it is exactly .  But wow, after the initial phase, it’s just so beautiful!

….🤫🤩 Our LO was at nursery (daycare) and we made full use of our alone time for the first time in maaany months😁

This makes me happy! (Likely not as happy as you two are though:lol:)

There are many honey scents that are distinctly different from each other.  It’s unfortunate that shipping takes as long as it has been to get to the UK, and that you have the added cost for it.  Nevertheless, it is probably a good idea to get a few in the trial sizes first. It’s a slower way to get what you want, if you find you love one, and have then to wait for a full sized bottle, but due to the wide varieties of honeys out there, in the long run it makes sense.

My favorite is Beewitched.  In fact it very well may be my all time favorite perfume.  It is a rose and honey scent like none I’ve ever smelled before.  I don’t know how many are left in stock.  Mara rebrewed immediately when it sold out so quickly.  I have both the original and the rebrew and they’re the same to my nose.  It has no pheromones and would be perfect for boosting with Gotcha, or any of the pheromones except Leather or Dominance.  Those would not be congruent.  I have a bottle boosted with Sexology, one boosted with Charisma for Women, and a couple bottles boosted with cops.  I use it as a spray too. (Yes I love it!)

Phero Girl is a honeyed perfume with cops. The “virgin” version is UNE.  At first l liked them layered with the Noco White, but getting the ratio right for my skin chemistry was tricky, and I didn’t care for just the scent by itself, and it’s been ages since I’ve made the attempt.

Sugared Honeycomb and SLF were fails for me, but many love them.

The most recent collection has Goddess that is another entirely different honey scent than the others.  This also has Aja in it.

When I first came to LPMP I tended to use the unscented versions of pheromones.  It does lend more versatility.  As time passed I’ve come to ordering them already boosted.  Not only do I trust Mara to know the correct strength, but I also am at a disadvantage because I don’t have many “selfies” from the social pheromones in particular—so how would I know I had enough or too much on, you know what I mean?

It will be interesting to see what others here suggest, and yay for you!

  3. Lace is more girly, feminine but with a less strong “confident woman” vibe.   LFM gives off a more self assured impression.  The LAM and BAM!  are single molecules plus cops. Neither I don’t believe have as high a concentration of cops as the OCCOs.

It seems like your immediate goal is to have intimacy again. Longer term goal is commitment to marry. I’d break it up into these segments.  Use a sexual one that gives you confidence for times it seems likely the deed can happen, instead of mixing intents together as one.

LFM is more about you, and how he perceives you.  If you think you could use more confidence, it is designed to give that aura. Gotcha is more about reeling him in for the ceremony and ring.  Neither are overtly sexual.

Me?  I’d wear BI or OCCOs  plus  a happy phero to get him in the bed. Put it on early in the day when he’s going to be around you, and just let things happen when they do.

I feel like BI also instills confidence in the woman wearing it.  LFM and LFN have  perhaps a more “elegant”  signature.

  4. @Lori  oh, never ignore the copulins!  They’re my best friend (relatively speaking).   How nice to have a birthday on Mother’s Day.  Your own mother must have thought you even more special for that reason.

I’m not clear on if you wore  BI and Sexology simultaneously or not.  It’s best to not to wear two complex phero blends at the same time.

Cougar was created with a more mature woman in mind. There is a scented version, and an unscented one. There is a new release called Argent that has it, and it sounds like it’s one  you might be drawn to.

For your currently out of town target guy, remember that subtle can be best. Men can sense when we’re trying too hard. Gotcha is another one to consider, btw.

The timing for you experimenting is ideal. This most recent new release has a scented version of every pheromone LPMP offers.

I’d be hesitant to wear overtly sexual pheromones around guys you know already know  tend to have low social filters, even as a test. Nothing bad might ever come of it, but it’s still a risk.

Applying heavy handedly can backfire. Read up on “ghosting” from pheromone amounts.  There are old threads on this forum with actual experiences shared by members here.

Just some thoughts, I hope some of what I wrote was helpful.

Edited to add: Down in the journals section, I have an ongoing thread where we talk about aging  related things, not necessarily for the senior citizen crowd though.

  5. @CosmoTea, with the caveat that I’m no phero expert: Blatant Invitation and any of the OCCOs  would be tied for my #1 pick. But the OCCOs are a perfume version of Viagra.  Whatever fragrance they are (OCCO White, Pink, Red, Black)  could also trigger scent association memories.  The pheromone blends, whether or not they contain copulins  have a more complex effect.

Sexology less sexual, more encouraging nurturing perhaps? Cuddle Bunny, nurturing plus cops, LAM and BAM! are less complex (I’d put Cuddle Bunny in that category too).

LFM is less sexual than LFN.  Both are complex   Both I think totally different effect from BI.

Gotcha, more complex than sexual. I believe Mara created it as a pheromone version of her Love Potion fragrances.

Good luck, and have fun experimenting!

  6. Okay, not a review, just an observation…

This reminds me so much of a shampoo I used in my freshman year at college.  I cannot place which one it was.  It possibly  will drive me crazy trying to remember the name of it (hopefully not though) .  I think it might have been a shampoo with yucca in it.  But I don’t think so. I really don’t.  I only mentioned it because yucca was the new wonder ingredient in shampoos for a very brief moment in time.

I like Domina Vere.  Not sure if it’s a “me” scent.  And that’s all I’m saying about it right now, because hey, it’s not a review :)

  7. :thbf54f4bf: @Lori

Yes, to what Eastwood and Luna said.  Read, and read some more.

I’m 66 btw.  There are a wide range of ages that participate here, but I’m likely the oldest.  I do feel like women past their 30’s and 40’s can be a little more generous with the application of perfumes containing copulins, but you have to find out what works for you.  One way to judge, other than by reactions from others, is if you personally respond.

As @Eastwood22 mentioned, It’s important to not mix different phero blends.  Several  threads started years back by Dolly will be helpful.  You can locate them in the bottom section of the forum in the journals section.  You will have to be logged in to access this area.

  8. I’m very happy with Goddess.  Honey is tricky for me, and most don’t work out.

I’ve tried “bright” honeys that just didn’t strike a chord, “dirty” honeys such as Sugared Honeycomb and SLF OCCO were total fails.  I think it’s the overall sweetness of those more than the actual type of honey though, because I certainly LOVE Beewitched!

But back to Goddess—this one works.  I like it.  It lasts a long time too.  I may not have tried anything with Aja in the past either.

  9. I am over the moon that I can wear this, AND that I respond to the calming ingredients in it.  Is it the pheromones?

Other than DHEAS and the very sexual ones,  I don’t have noticeable selfies from pheros.  And, the fragrance for the original Savage Beast didn’t work for me.  (Although, that might be a scent association thing because I received it around the same time as I lost my beloved dog.).

Regardless, two nights running, I’ve worn Snoozle to bed, and slept incredibly well.  I’m not a good sleeper.  I could be the president of the “Get Less than Four”  sleep club, if there was a club for that.

Snoozle smells fantastic.  I’m hoping Mara will add it to the permanent collection. She definitely makes magic!

….and thought it was my sweater!

Lol. It’s like,  did I forget deodorant?  Did the cat pee on something?

I miss out on some treasures due to my skin chemistry. Patchouli and maple are the primary culprits. That’s why I’m thrilled that Material Squirrel 🐿 (so far) hasn’t turned into a maple syrup festival on me.

  11. First time I tried it was straight out of the shipping box when the new releases arrived.  It reminded me a lot of Velvet Kisses.  Not so much now.  Which is actually good for me, because as much as I tried to get Velvet Kisses to work for me, it was just too sweet 🙁.

Snoozle has now had a few days to rest, and it it distinctly different than my first impressions of it were.

All the notes are there, although not particularly creamy, which is a good thing in my case.  It is definitely not as sweet as I first thought, and I’m super happy I went with a fb.  I plan to get more for backup.

    PS

Even though this is listed under the mens pheromone fragrances, for me it wears on  feminine side of unisex.

  12. It took a seeming eternity (actually only a couple of days) for the travel shock to wear off for this one.

When it first arrived, and I put some on my wrist, it was like noooo!  This isn’t a soft powdery rose scent!  This is a sharp, possibly powdery in a masculine aftershave type way, with  NO ROSE kind of scent!

Today all of this has changed.  Tea rose, other rose I cannot identify and soft powder.  Lovely, EVERYTHING I’d hoped it would be.

I’ve only been buying from Mara since 2017, so not an extremely long time, but still, it has been several years, and this is the most dramatic transformation any of her creations has undergone for me once acclimated to its new home. I love it!  (But I didn’t at first).

I could buy a gallon of it, but I won’t.  Starting with just a couple of full bottles for now. :Love09751: 🌹

  13. @androstenol be proud!  A few years ago I watched this special on PBS (I think) on a research project seeking to find common denominators on what made some people successful in life, and others not.  They concluded that one important factor was those who are able to exert self control were the ones who were most likely to excel.

One part of it focused on a group of preschoolers.  They set a piece of candy (or cookie, don’t remember) in front of the child who was seated at a table.  The child was told that if they ate the treat, that was okay, but if they left it sit there while the adult left the room, and it was still there when  the adult came back into the room, they could have an entire box of them, instead of just the one piece .

Some children could do it, others couldn’t resist.  I remember one little girl crying because she couldn’t stop herself—just sobbing her heart out as she ate it.

So see, you (semi) passed  the test.  I did not.  Many will not.

(ahem, @RosesArePink but you only tried one.  Sniffing I think doesn’t count)

And, on that note, I broke out the Figue de Lune.  OMG it transported me to a happy place deep in a shady green forest.  Sooo lovely.  And, I could swear there is guava in it, but maybe just the combo.  Wonderful concept @luna65

  14. My order arrived!  It’s too early to review, and I don’t know how much they will change after they settle either.

    However……

(haha. I just thought it would be funny if I didn’t write anything else— but I will)

Snoozle reminds me of the last version of Velvet Kisses

Buns of Cinnamon keeps changing on me from the moment I put it on, to a couple of hours later.  I have never sniffed any previous version for comparisons sake.  When first applied, other than cinnamon, I’d swear there was some sort of a smoke accord, that switched up to a vague coconut undercurrent which also disappeared.

Now I’m getting a bit of buttery-ness. (I have no idea how to spell that!  Likely not a real word)  also some pecan peaking out.  I think I just have to let it rest…

Ruzina Prasina didn’t particularly smell of roses,  Now it has mellowed, although not much rose yet And yes, I need to let it recover from travel.

Material Squirrel  seems closest to the notes listed,  or at least how I interpret how those notes should smell together. I’m encouraged that the maple is causing no disruption whatsoever.  I can’t even pick it out.  I do get the cedar, and am happy it’s not super sweet nor milky.  I need to check if there are virgin bottles available.

Allumette started out a bit (only slightly) guest soapy.  But that went away, and I’m liking it a lot, my nose seems to involuntarily plant itself on my wrist!

The others I ordered I’ve just opened and sniffed.  I’m totally on overload.

@luna65  if you want to relocate this post, I won’t be offended in the least.  I just didn’t know where to put it.  The individual new releases aren’t up in the reviews section yet…
