  1. November. And he claims he's in "training" for whatever I'm planning...as if he would know. But he knows the depths of my perverted mind, so...he's probably guessed correctly.
  2. As I recall it has more cops than b-nol, but whether or not it has more cops than LAM is another question. But I think the scent concentration is supposed to be the same with the two lines?
  3. Not necessarily. Not every type of honey and/or amber will do that, for one thing, and sometimes it's just the effect of blending two notes/accords, rather than the actual notes/accords themselves. And sometimes the addition of a pheromone, like copulins, will have an effect on the scent itself which is why M&D use it in the creation itself, rather than as an afterthought add-in. Remember though, it's not necessarily how you're smelling it, but how he smells it.
  4. I think it would probably layer very nicely with any of the OCCOs, depending on your/his taste. I had to promise not to use the OCCO again until Q's bday, though.
  5. Cuddle Bunny, as a scent, is probably the most likely to smell powdery, it does have oakmoss as well as cotton blossom. But because the original LAM is vanilla and honey (if that's the one you have) it might possibly have a strange note to his nose...for some people that combination doesn't always work. Also keep in mind that men have a weaker sense of smell than women do, normally, so things which smell "strange" to them aren't necessarily strange, just strange to their compromised facilities, as it were.
  6. I expected this to be more floral than it is on me, but it's very pretty...sweet, a gourmand floral but even for all its' notes it's not one thing or another, just a lovely blending. The epitome of a caring and compassionate woman. This is the sort of scent you could wear anytime, anywhere: at work, for an afternoon of cuddling, or an evening where you need to be loved (by anyone, not just your target/partner). I would say, for someone who desires to have the benefit of all that EST but doesn't necessarily appreciate the scent, this could be layered with something else and you could still have the intent and the EST to work with. When I wear it for Quince, for example, I plan to layer it with Sugared Amber (one of his favorites) so hopefully he'll find that appealing (he's not big on florals either)...and then...happy purr-y fun time!
  7. I don't, no, but it's okay, I've hoarded some sample vials. Heh, the worst part is that my Quince likes it too and I DON'T WANT TO SHARE!
  8. *sighs dramatically* Don't remind me...I'm still heartbroken I don't have a bottle of Everything Nice.
  9. I'm thinking that's logical, given your age and his (unless he's much older?); your sexual aura is going to be such that it's already very alluring without cops. Cops are only one kind of tweak, whereas BI has a psychological component to it as well which is probably more useful for what you want.

    Siren's Serenade

This is definitely a fig lover's scent! At first it's very sweet on me, the red sugar is really potent, but then the fig comes out and it's very lush and smooth. It doesn't have the green characteristic I get from Sugared Magi, for example. After a time I can sense the spice and musk underneath, making it deeper and very sexy.
  11. I don't know what effect Swimming With Sharks would have on kids, it was created with the corporate world in mind, IIRC. Ail and Dolly would have a better idea what pheros are appropriate to wear around children...I don't use them around my son so I don't know.
  12. I love the mango topnote in this one. I HAVE TO HAVE IT for one of my custom ideas. *drools* Underneath it is smooth but the mango is really tenacious. In the final drydown I get a hint of tropical creaminess, but not really that strong; I'm kind of surprised because I expected this to smell more pastry-like than it actually does on me.

    Fayha

Fayha An exotic blend of wood and resins, spices, flowers and the heat of a land half a world away, indulge the passion within…be Fayha, fragrant and beautiful. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Magickal Meanings of Ingredients: SANDALWOOD ~ Love, exotic, sensual atmospheric, aphrodisiac, healing, spirituality, exorcism. OUD (Agarwood) ~ Love, aphrodisiac, spirituality, health. MYRRH ~ Stimulating, soothing, powerful guard against evil. FRANKINCENSE ~ Purification, consecration, protection, exorcism. CARDAMOM ~ Lust, love. HONEY ~ Enticing, seductive, use to bewitch a straying or hesitant lover, happiness, fulfillment. ARABIAN WHITE MUSK ~ Self-confidence and strength, sexual attractant, heightens passions and arousal. OLIVE BLOSSOM ~ Fidelity, fertility, potency, peace, money, used to attract a marriage partner, inspires fruitfulness and security in love, family, and business. ARABIAN JASMINE ~ Self-confidence, anxiety reduction, prosperity, powerful love attractant, spiritual love. VIOLET ~ Love, faithfulness, modesty; calming, balancing, healing, protection, draws luck and fortune, lust. DRIED LEMON PEEL ~ Energizing, uplifting, longevity, faithfulness, fidelity, friendship, used to attract spirits. FRANGIPANI ~ Trust, confidence. SAFFRON ~ Love, beauty, happiness, lust, purification, healing, clairvoyance. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I had a bit of a time writing the copy for this one originally...it's just so complex even from a conceptual standpoint, let alone the actual fragrance! But I like that "exotica" emerged as a theme of sorts for DA. The lemon peel is really a prominent note for me in the vial, and it's got an interesting character; it really does have a concentrated type of scent, so it's bright but it's almost something else, something distinctly other. When I wear it I get more of the floral aspect, not specific notes but an overall aura of lush flowers in the heat. The spices lend a nice warmth without actual foodiness. In the final drydown there is a soft veil of woods and spice. Like Cocomama this is a blend of ambience and place, a composition which is more than merely its' particular elements. There's just a slight touch of soapiness from the musk but overall it's not an aggressive scent even for having so many ingredients. It really does make me think of other places, and it would probably layer well with one of the more obvious incense scents for added mood.
  14. ...don't make me hijack this thread with the TMI. Oh wait...too late!
  15. Helpful Wiki is helpful. No, you should probably not be clicking on that if you're at work. Bad? Not necessarily, it's a matter of personal taste. Naughty? Oh yes.
  16. Niiiice pose, to be certain; but I prefer February and June...mmm.
  17. I haven't thought about the Cafe Press thing, although people have asked over the years if I'd do the Lulu thing...I suppose if it's print-on-demand then there would be less outlay. I'm so terribly disorganized when it comes to building my fanbase. *ponders*
  18. Admittedly I wasn't sure I would like this; I didn't vote for it...and when I first sniffed it the sea spray made me cringe (Aquatics, ack! *whimpers*)...BUT, there's something in Thane which is incredibly intriguing. I believe it's the costus root accord, I keep thinking I've smelled it somewhere before. On the whole it's very archetypal male and everyone should dab it on their nearest XY; it's one of those which will likely have a universal appeal (like PB Dominance did, for example). I'm certain even my fussy Quince will like it, as he prefers scents which are wholly unambiguous. (That man, I swear. )
  19. Well sure, but after all...the two scents have different agendas. Thane is all about Boldly Go and Jouir de is...come now.
  20. Well certainly! Super Sexy and LAM? I'm surprised he didn't say there wasn't anything more tempting than YOU in that pastry case! So...does he have potential? Or is Hunkalicious still blinding you to all others?
  21. D'awwww...thanks again; it always means a lot to me when people say such nice things. Conversely, I am not so mushy about legitimate publication, heh. I've been told more than a few times over the years that I don't fit the right niche for what is required and admittedly am terribly stubborn and cynical about trying to do so. Thank the Universe the Internet is here now so I can share with whomever cares to read and make us all happy, yay! I pulled a Shelly and dabbed just the slightest of this on the backs of my hands then went out to get lunch. The girl behind the counter was very attentive, so that IS interesting. But she's too young for me, alas.

    Cocamama

This had two distinct characteristics for me: -spicy green on top -deep smokiness on the bottom. It's very sultry and sophisticated and present...and yet, it has a unisex aura to me, I really want to dab this on Quince because I think it would smell wonderful on him as well. But it's one of a kind...it recalls other things but no one specific thing, it's a scent which once I smelled it on someone I would never forget. It does make me think of the jungle and the earth and heat...but also something beyond all those elements. Fascinating!
