  1. *dies* Noooooo, let them find it out on their own. As for me, there is going to be naughty playtime with this, oh yes. And already 2K of porn!twinkie and that's not even getting to the smelly part yet!

    Cocamama

That happened to me once when I was expecting an eBay purchase, although the guy had sent it to me Media Mail (which can take a loooong time) but there was nothing in the tracking updates for two weeks. I ended up talking to several people at the local postal hub and though they never called me back with a follow-up, I did end up getting the package about three days after I called.
  3. Aww, thank you, mystree! That's very kind of you to say, I'm glad you enjoyed the story. Shelly: What hath thou wrought?! I'm getting a porn!twinkie idea based on Jouir de... Art pr0n: the title sexily scrawled on the box, with a near-nude photo of the smirking boy in rumpled sheets, a finger in his mouth, an eyebrow cocked, a suggestive bulge...mmmm. "Fais-moi jouir!" "Non, mademoiselle...vous desirez plus d'attention."
  4. Well I'll post my predictions here as well since this is the more appropriate thread: The Halloween scents will be this month's selections (September for October)...and I predict: -something dark -something vampire (I C WUT U R DOIN THAR, SINISTER GRRL) -something fun -something pumpkin -something Autumn ...so time will tell how well I prognosticated here.
  5. The SLF combo specifically is honey-amber-musk. The term I came up with to describe the variations on this theme of Shelly's is "Fuckable Gourmand" (which M&D actually used in the text of Shelly B's Lascivious Peach). An FG is not necessarily a SLF, but they're in the same slutty family.
  6. Yeah not an actual name...it's the name I came up with to describe the Honeyed Amber & Musk. And then I wrote a story about it, sorta.
  7. Plenty of begging, sure. It's not really their overall philosophy, though, as I've stated previously.
  8. I'm not the final word of course but I do believe they're two different molecules. A-nol has a different emotional component for people, it's not so "personal," for lack of a better term.
  9. 5a-Androstenol is reportedly for pillow talk and pair-bonding, so that may be where the "weak" feeling is coming from; perhaps a vulnerablility you're not used to?
  10. You know, your reaction isn't "negative," it's just not for you. Like Shelly said, it's not for the faint of heart (and let's face it: she has a knack for the SLF). Most people can't understand why I enjoy certain odors and don't like a man to shower (even Q is vaguely horrified at my proclivities and this is why we don't go anywhere when he visits), but your reaction is perfectly understandable and normal.
  11. -a- One night, multiple partners, and if that's not TMI enough the other qualifier definitely is. -b- Well, not just one night...usually at least a couple and either too tired to take a shower or could not (for whatever reason, like being in the middle of nowhere, for example). Lynne: I SAW WHUT U DID THAR. *dies laughing*

    Honey Ho

Mmmm....me likey. I get the NSD thing too, I think the amber and brown sugar along with the musk gives it a bit of a darker feel in the bottom, and the pear is pear but it's not obviously pear...just a bright note in the top which tweaks my nose playfully. The honey elements are very present and naturalistic, almost raw. It's not an interpretation of honey or an impression of honey, this is honey...and even the slight waxiness from the comb. And that contributes just as much to the "female musk" characteristic, I think, interestingly enough...the quality of thickness, as it were. I also think you could layer this with other things to either accentuate a different type of sweetness (while still retaining a more suggestive agenda underneath) or take it in a different direction.
  13. Now see The Skank Was With Me most of the night. But now, the next day - even after taking a shower - there is a trace of fleshy orchid which hints at the actual olfactory smutfest this one truly is. My clever analogy is that Jouir De is like Bacchanalia...that is, if Bacchanalia never got out of bed to go partake of various illegal substances.
  14. You don't have to look at it that way...fragrances last a good while and you can have as many as you like to suit whatever mood or purpose. At some point you may decide there is one or more that you feel you don't wear often enough and therefore may decide to sell or trade, but it's not like bath & body stuff, which has a shorter shelf life.
  15. Oh yeah...this is definitely SLF Part Deux: A Wild Ride. (I totally imagine this is what my porn!twinkie smells like, all that's missing is a bit of ambient vice.) In fact, I'm ready to change the sobriquet of Shelly B's Honeyed Amber & Musk to Smells Like Sex because there's a definite aura of fuck to this one, even more than the former. I would not wear this out of the house, only because I'd be too distracted. It starts to get a little sweet around the edges after a bit, but it's mostly skank. But I'm not saying that like it's a bad thing.
  16. ...the uninhibited cousin from the Isle of Wild.
  17. Sometimes with that type of scent you have to wear the slightest amount (I found this out with Arcana's Queen Crossbones), like just a drop split between your wrists. But I am very curious to see what kind of relative to SLF this turns out to be.
  18. I would say, with men over 50, not to use too much of anything. Though I enjoyed being mauled as a result of using OCCO, thinking back on it, I probably overwhelmed Master Quince with that copulin assault. He was exhausted for a good part of the following day, my poor woobie.
  19. In LA, sure. That's how I originally found out about pheromone use, was through people I knew in LA who used them. I was actually a part of the LPMP community before M&D introduced pheros, but when they did that was just one more reason to love them! *squishes* I've been a fan of artisan perfumery for many years now, even longer than my interest in pheromones.
  20. I don't think Shelly ever used pheros before LP, but I could be mistaken. Ail or Dolly might know better. I've used Spaceland, but I always wondered if it was really straight a-nol (like WF) or if there was something else in there as well. It worked well for me, but I probably overdid it when I think back on my experiences, heh.
  21. *wags finger* Now you didn't tell us that, missy! *adds yet another thing to the list*
  22. Yeah I live in SD County as well, but I'm more centrally-located, sort of halfway between North and South, and a bit East (inland as opposed to the coast).
  23. None of the unscented pheromones are offered in sample size due to cost.
