Often it's not merely a question of the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, which is what copulins WILL help with, but if a person is asexual/aromantic or just not naturally intimate, then it's an entirely different proposition. Pheromones exploit inherent tendencies but they will not create emotions. Since you stated that you did get a reaction when you wore Cuddle Bunny, it makes me think that you could explore the situation which evolves by the use of EST and cops to perhaps find out why he is the way he is, as EST does sometimes make men more communicative. That is one of the ways CB helped me make a breakthrough with my OTL, he was able to express those emotions which he did feel, but didn't necessarily know how to articulate. If you can achieve true intimacy that's the greater victory, IMO...and doing so perhaps you can find a way to accomplish the other as well.

The civit was the strongest note on me, with a brown sugar edge. I described it to Quince as "sexy oatmeal" (to go with the "sexy toast").

Could be the civit, I guess, I imagine there is civit in Bacchanalia as well. But since it's still "fresh" I'd give it a while to settle down before a final decision. Wear it again in a couple weeks, maybe, see if it still goes wonky on you.

Mara explained somewhere that creating the Custom Sugareds is a casual process wherein every step might not be documented, and therefore couldn't necessarily be recreated exactly. In terms of rebrewing any previous scent it depends on a number of factors, but primary among them is whether the ingredients are available for a rebrew, or if it can't be remade exactly, then is another version satisfactory in terms of their own creative and quality standards. So it's doesn't just come down to how fast it sells out or that everyone is clamoring for it.

Yeah the bamboo helps with the "fresh" evocation, definitely, although I wouldn't say the musk makes it "dry," just very intense. Musk is an amplifier so often the effect it has on other notes is to make them that much stronger.

For me it was a very strong sweet strawberry, but not candied strawberry, more fresh. I think strawberry is a great fruit to mix with musk and this blend has great sillage...a lovely Spring and Summer scent.

Yeah my Quince is like that too (scary smart, very detail-oriented) and that's one thing the use of pheromones has promoted with him...it brings out his playful side.

Well now...what else could we expect from one of our resident Southern Sirens but yet another delicious blend which smells like fucking?! Missed out on the Honeyed Amber and Musk? Got some but you want more? Love the scent of Sexology but maybe the pheros give you pause to wear outside the bedroom? GET THIS. GET IT NOW. It's very much in that same vein of honey + amber + musk = sex. But there's an added edge of sweetness which isn't too sweet, just enough to feel kind of playful while still transmitting that OMG DO ME NOW command. And really...what more could you possibly want?

I received the first of my three packages - - with my bottle of Mara's Rocket Fuel and sniffies of all the new private editions. Just the thing for the Further Adventures of Quim and Quince...unfortunately that will have to wait awhile. But at least I smell fabulous!

Yeah like Dolly said, it could be worn by any age, really. It's definitely a "male" scent without being stereotypically so. Now that Quince has worn it, I would kind of describe it as a very dark version of the LP variant philosophy. And as I said in my first post in this thread, sooooo sexy. Here's how I would compare it with Super for Men...the scents are nothing alike but the effects are somewhat similar. -The scent of Super for Men is everything I love about male fragrance, so psychologically it already has an advantage. But simply put: SS4M makes me high. So that's why the best way to describe it is OMFG! I would do anything, go anywhere for that man when he wears it. And I'm already inclined to do so, it just amplifies my attraction to a near-insane intensity. -Sorcerer is very male, very commanding just as a fragrance. But Wanted Man definitely gives it an aura - for me - of possibility without being too aggressive. It makes me think "bad boy" and I like that. Not every woman, does, however. When Quince wears it I am immediately in playtime mode; so he may catch on at some point that if he wants me to be particularly submissive he would do well to slather.

Some of us have tried it on our men...does that count?

This is very fruity-sweet at first, but it takes on a more resinous quality over time. It definitely has an incense evocation for me as well...I am reminded of Amber Enchantment. The drydown is very subtle, there's just a hint of spicy smokiness but mainly that quality of smooth wood which makes for a nice skin scent type of base.
