This was the one I was most looking forward to and...mmmm. The pear isn't even like pear to me, it's got an unusual quality to it (or the musk changes it somewhat) and the honey is gorgeous, as always. It's got a dark aura to it, like a darker version of UNE or Cheap Girls. My favorite of the Rockin' Trio (though all three are fabulous)!

The peach reminds me of the peach in Kittenish, like peach juice rather than peach flesh. It makes me think of fluffy white cake with peach juice in the frosting and some kind of edible flowers on top (are peonies edible?). Like, you could get backstage if you knew your rockstar's favorite cake, heh. It's just this side of innocent...the girl looks sweet but will let him NOM NOM NOM (after he's taken a shower, lol).

Oooh this is very sultry and complex! Fits the concept perfectly! I'll elaborate more on it later but to me, if you want to go out on the town and turn heads...or stay at home and enact an elaborate scenario ( )...this is the one to wear. *smushes Danna*

I got a sniffie of this in an order a while back...I really love how M&D use oakmoss and this is no exception: so soft and sweet and gentle, and there's just something so comforting about that particular scent, combined with the freshness of the bamboo, very lovely. I get a bit of a perfume-y vibe from the heather but the base is incredibly smooth and warm, an entirely successful creation!

I just added it a few days ago so you're not really oblivious, heh. It's my favorite Tool song...I call it "The Perfect Song" because it's based on the Golden Mean.

Yeah I've tried a few of Serge's creations (decants, naturally) but not that one. Liz: no I've never tried that one...just Cacao (I referenced it in a story, but not one you've read), Pink Lotus (the blend she made for Madonna) and her Chocolate and Saffron body oil (something else I put in a story, heh).

The 2007 version was not an LP variant. It's all floral. This reminds me of something, but I can't really think what...bits and pieces of other LP variants, I guess...a little Gold, a little '07 Pink, a little Three for Women...it's really hard for me to pin down anything other than LP base and bright sweetness, but I'm not sure if it's for me. I was curious if it would give me an "edible" evocation, and again, I just don't know. *edit* I will say it layers nicely with LP Green, however.

I also get a soapy evocation, but to be honest, florals often do that to me. I don't get heat, though...I get dew, or something like it (like watering flowers in the daytime). It makes me think of cutting roses in the morning before the dew has had a chance to evaporate. I like the spicyness of the geranium notes but otherwise I think the other elements are a bit too much for me (I'm getting that freaked-out feeling I often get when wearing certain florals).

It's meant to be androgynous...it's probably the woods and the darker notes which are making you think "masculine."

Party in my nose! Hey Mara I have a question about G-String...is there actually a leather accord in it? Because I don't see it listed as a note although it's referenced in the description...or is it that one of the musks (or all of them) gives a leather evocation? Just wondered.

I think I'm getting more sugar than violet...I was going to say it reminds me of Possets' Silver Violets but I really get more sweetness than floral. That's nice, though, in that it seems to be ensuring the violet does not go powdery on me (the problem I normally have with that note).

As I stated previously, I don't believe EGG is a good cover for any phero, it's just too delicate. In my experience, Dominance tends to overpower anything it's blended/covered with. Same thing with the Pharmacom Cougar, which is why it needs something really robust (I've used it with Sugared Honeycomb and UNE which lend an additional aura of sex so the phero scent isn't entirely overwhelming).
