There's no fruit in it. What it reminds me of is a slightly sweeter version of B&BW's Garden Mint fragrance (as used in their hand soap and antibacterial gel).

As the lovely Liz was kind enough to gift me with a sample... This is very peachy at first, much more than I would have expected. Like the peach juice of Kittenish, but times ten. In the drydown the orris and resins add a nice grounding aura, so the sweetness is still there, but tempered by the other elements...it has a very smooth golden kind of feel to it. I can see why it was so popular!

In my last three packages nothing was combined, so I figure the two I have coming now were each a seperate order...that's five shipments within the last four weeks or so, talk about impulsive!

Yeah...pheromones may assist Quim with being the perfect playmate for Master Quince, but they do not make her a better singer even when she is happy enough to try and sing her dearest to sleep (after he covers his head with three pillows).

Sexology is both a fragrance and a pheromone blend...basically the UN version is the EST/cops/beta-nol from the fragrance. I think it will blend perfectly with any of the honey-based scents and/or those that are purposely sexy (rich and deep). Personally, I can't wait to have more stupid horny with the giggles in my arsenal.

Remember that Like A Magnet is already scented...that's not to say it couldn't be available the other way, but depending on the elements they might not mesh if added to another fragrance. Of course, it could be used with a cover the way that other products are often utilized.

Since Teddy Man is so similar (although I am an admitted fan of male pheros in general), I'll say it just makes me feel secure and blissful. I think the scent has a lot to do with it (because I love dark sweet masculine scents like that) but when I feel anxious it's the one I reach for.

Yeah I would say so... On a side note, one of the best descriptions of the effect Tantric Butterfly can produce provided all the elements are right is in issue 10 of Alan Moore's Promethea ("Sex, Stars and Serpents"), in which the protagonist Sophie receives a lesson in sex magick. TAF is an interesting substance. To be honest, I wasn't really planning on using this for its' intended purpose because Quince and I do well enough in that respect - we are easily completely focused on one another in the moment (a side effect of spending less time together than most couples) - but having read a lot about TAF I wanted to see what it would do for me nonetheless. Scent-wise, this is the exact evocation of a certain brand of incense from India...I can literally see the package in my mind when I smell this...I just can't remember what it was called! Okay TAF you're not helping me here... Although it's not one I would prefer it's very soft and unobtrusive in the drydown, so the scent itself does not distract, and that is damn clever, M&D. On the other hand, I have a wild impulse to be organized, and I'm not normally that way at all; I am a typical Pisces who just floats in the current (unless I'm obsessed, and then I'm scarily focused). So I like that, because I do need a nudge every so often.

As I thought, this went over very well, but in another pithy moment of brillance (he has a lot of those), Quince proclaimed it should be called "Boozy Floozy" (I had mentioned Woozy Floozy to him) because he said it smelled not so much like a cheap girl as a girl soused on cheap booze and perhaps of questionable morals. So that led to a fun scenario, of course.

Heh, the primary outcome was Master Quince taking me on quite the ride across the cosmos! (He's still asleep...they don't call me Wicked Quim for nothing!) But he said it smells "like fruit crumble without the fruit" rather than toast. I guess the sugar-and-spice makes me think of toast. Pornographic toast, that is.

I started getting add-ins early in the game, I guess. I have Sugared Honeycomb and UNE with Cuddle Bunny, Nasty Habits with Drop Your Guard, and Kittenish with MX135. I started doing it because I enjoyed the phero'ed scents so much, I wanted to use them that way, already blended with perfume. I still don't use pheros all the time - only when I have a specific agenda in mind - but I've never wanted to worry about mixing/covering or anything like that, so we're very lucky to have that option and it's a great selling point to everyone.

Since January, and it is a great idea.

I never smelled maple in Me, Jane! either, it was other people who said I smelled like maple. Like, just about everyone. To me, it smells like it's supposed to. Since Raven Moon '09 is meant to be as close to the '07 version as possible, read my original post in this thread for my impressions, because I was nicely pithy again.

Love the rock n'roll mini theme you've got going on for this release. Heh, I came up with another name for the focus one...FOCUS POCUS. So I'm just going to go with that, okay?

Okay, no marshmallow, lol. Scent-wise this reminds me of a few thngs, mainly Carpe Noctum but also Everything Nice. It started out a little sharp but then settled in the drydown into a lovely sweet resiny skin scent. You know, if I ever met Gina Torres wearing this scent, well...she'd have to call for Security, that's all I can say. (Yeah I get girl crushes, don't everybody freak out at once, okay? I figured my reputation as a pervert was already well-established. ) Anyway, the a-nol makes me like myself a lot, which is also the same effect that TAH has on me, I've noticed. It could also be that I'm at the peak of my cycle and crazy horny, but I'll just go with the other as the reason I can't stop wanting to get to know me better.

More like naughty cherub, eh? If only Quince had the same lust for maple as he does for other sweet scents...ah well, can't win 'em all!

It's my opinion (though Ail has the science to verify one way or the other) that EST produces the "puppy" effect. The original Cougar Potion had EST as well although I never really got the same effect, just more of an hey, how you doin' kind of vibe from men who noticed me. But the following you around, intense longing gazes, extreme attentiveness and concern for your well-being...that's the magic of EST.

To me this has a similar aura to Bacchanalia, but instead of full-on sex tinged with boozy sweetness this is more like the aftermath of sex with a warm heady signature tinged with a ripe sweetness which is almost boozy because it is so sweet but stops just short of it. It's rather blatant which is why the name is apt, heh. At first the cactus flower is a little too sweet on me but then the honey and the basenotes take over in the drydown...very sexy. I plan to layer this with Cuddle Bunny '09 and see what kind of reaction I get.

This blend has a more tart strawberry accord...like a fresh-picked strawberry. When they're ripe on the bottom and bitter by the stem. Again, the musk really amplifies the strawberry, and there is a sort of "misty" impression created by the sugar. You can smell the sweetness but the tartness of the fruit keeps coming through. I was thinking it was interesting there were two strawberry musks this month because that scent will always remind me of the summer I was sixteen and being rather precocious, if you know what I mean (and I think you do ).

The "Actor's Magic" blend which will hopefully be debuted soon is meant to replace Popularity Potion, IIRC.
