  1. Okay sure, but...has he ever been like that? Because remember: you had a makeover, he didn't. I'm not trying to be flippant, but yes, some men are very threatened when the partner they took advantage of is suddenly an object of desire for everyone.
  2. Liz my darling, we can share "Trevor" if you're willing to alternate days.
  3. First of all, when I saw the name the song "Ooh My Love" by Stevie Nicks immediately went through my mind. In the shadow of the castle walls wherever those walls were... well, he used to love to be behind those walls with her. This reminds me of Tweed. Tweed is one of those ur-fragrances for me, my grandmother wore it and whenever I smell one like it I am immediately reminded of her. Although it's not exactly the same but I think the oakmoss is causing the connection primarily. It's a very sort of classic complex type of scent, I notice as it proceeds in the drydown that I get more of the beeswax, incense and mead...kind of like moving through the rooms of the castle, and how each one has its' own characteristic while there is a still a unifying scent to the place. The waft is close and yet consistently strong. Intent-wise it does have a comforting aura to it, and I think it's a great unisex blend (you know who's going to get dabbed by me for testing purposes ).
  4. *wants one with an orchid print* That reminds me of a joke Quince loves to tell people when they ask us why we don't live together (it's very complicated but primarily because of my son) and he says, "By the time we get around to living together she'll be wheeling me into the pensioner's home!" And I say, "Yes, I'm naughty Nurse Quim and he's leaving everything to me."
  5. Oh that's priceless! Since we've already proven what happens when you put a bunch of oversexed 40somethings in the same forum. :banana-computer:
  6. Yeah...I'm a switch but mostly a bottom. But a man has to make me want to worship him to get my utter submissive devotion (remember, I'm a Pisces, I give till it hurts. ).
  7. While we're waiting for Ail to give us The Answer...I will say, from her conceptual descriptions, that Heart & Soul is more of a "romantic" mix than Open Windows. In my experience EST promotes romance in the right circumstances in that it emphasizes the primordial roles of male and female (yeah, I know sexual identity is a sticky wicket and I don't mean to start a sociological debate, but it's what I think); then Androsterone adds a sexual component.
  8. Right, but since it wasn't, I'm assuming that was on purpose, hence the use of the word "proprietary."
  9. They're proprietary, so I believe that information is not available, much as the specific components in Androtics products are also not listed.

    Hey Ladies!

OMG I found that out about my friend Mia today too, how funny! I love that song...as a kid my mom had the Touching You, Touching Me album, and I used to sit by the stereo and sing along.
  11. Whoooo! Really looking forward to Body Paint and G-String especially. And: *reads Dirty Pretty Thing* MARA I SAW WHUT YOU DID THAR.
  12. Didn't the description state it was proprietary? So they wouldn't be listed if that's the case.

    Hey Ladies!

So what are you shaking your booty to on the assembly line, eh?

    EGG 2009

Hmm, although that is a very potent phero mix, it comes through the Super fragrance as well eventually...so I guess it's not so surprising. EGG isn't quite robust enough to stand up to something like that, I'm thinking. But if it smells okay then it's all good!

    EGG 2009

Is it the unscented SS4M? Because it is strange that the phero alone would change the character of the scent so much.
  16. It encourages affection in general between females, but that doesn't mean that OMG A GIRL IS GOING TO THROW HERSELF AT YOU just like if you put on a mix to attract a guy he's going to jump you (unless he already wants to, at least somewhat). Really, I think it's got some nice self-effects and that's why I'd recommend if to anyone. Personally, if another female did come on to me then I might consider it very effective, heh, but I'm not giving off that vibe (unless you're Gina Torres, mmmm).
  17. Well you could always do the ol'cotton-ball-in-your-bra trick that scrouger recommended, so that the scent doesn't interact with your skin at all (or a scent locket if you have one).
  18. The pictures and links are up in the Perfumerie section...but they don't link to the descriptions just yet.

    I am here

    :msn_red_fox_smilies-09: Down girl!
  20. Yeah the peach takes a while to burn off...try and ride it out then see what it does for you in the drydown.
  21. Sure it will...a-nol and EST tend to put people at their ease, so it will make a situation in which you might be apt to make a new friend that much better.

    I am here

He just got here and already received his first bribe... John: did they tell you we're not quite right? It's M&D's fault, you know. Rabid fangirls can be a little overwhelming sometimes.
  23. And it's exactly why I love SS4M so much (the mix doesn't make me cranky at all).
  24. Well anything we do to gain advantage in a situation - be it business, sex, family, love, whatever - is social engineering, plain and simple. I don't think there's anything wrong with it as long as people are honest about what they want and why they want it. That's not to say that people will agree with you, but everyone has their opinions...hence not actually revealing usage. If people suspect they're being manipulated, then yeah...they're not going to like that. I tend to sell it from the this will make us both feel good perspective as a point of discussion. I believe a person should use pheromones responsibly and congruently, but I also absolutely believe they do enhance a number of situations, and not just for the user. However, they're only an accessory for me, because if I, as a person, do not deliver on the chemical message broadcasted, then I've just sabotaged my own desires. Over time I've come to appreciate that certain blends allow me to assume a particular persona when required, but there's really nothing which I feel is inherently "me," and this is what probably sets me apart from other users, in that my core personality does not require pheromones, only facets of me, depending on the situation.
