  1. It might not be the amount - it may be the social filters. Men your age tend to have better social filters than teenagers (argh! - remember teenage boys? Good Lord!) so they NOTICE that you are the sexiest thing they've seen all day, but will be slower to act on it. And highly unlikely to make obvious comments. So just practice your eye-flirting and appraising glances, and use them well!
  2. Cops alone just make me feel supa-sexy, like "You know you ALL want me." I am certain that I strut...And I don't even need the scented or covered ones. A drop of the nasty alcohol EoW under the nose does the trick. Mix cops with androstenone and I become aggressively sexual. Dominantly, ready to rip someone apart, sexual. Occasionally fun, but can turn ugly fast. That's reserved for behind closed doors - and early afternoon at latest b/c otherwise I won't sleep well do to rather graphic dreams. And I think I have noticed residual next-day effects from cops, which might just be psychological. That's why the mixes here are so spectactular - effective but buffered to prevent "hunter-killer" mode. I wear any and all of them to work, but then I work fairly independently and in a friendly environment. So hell no, you ain't the only one who feels extra-special tingly during long traffic delays...makes the commute so much more interesting.

    Beltane

I was just stalking Beltane yesterday, thinking I should probably try it...I generally adore smoky. And fruity but not? Smoky but not? Sounds PERFECT.
  4. Oh what a fun site! And an LP with pheros and JASMINE! I'm all over that. And I picked up a couple other things while I was there. I mean, really, 40% discount? This forum is so hard on my wallet. I love it.
  5. This is one of those scents that when I put it on, I can't believe I don't wear it every day...it's just pretty much perfect. I slathered a HUGE amount on this weekend and went shopping. I definitely get a tiny touch of something spicy (cinnamon probably) but otherwise I can't specifically say. Poor store clerk - who was in his 60's (I was shopping for dress shirts and ties for the DH) was giggling and messing up his words and turning red. I was beginning to think that he was a little "touched"...before I realized it was my perfume that was doping him up. Oh and I forgot - the co. Xmas dinner - I wore this. Strangely, people began making random toasts to me. Periodically someone would yell out "And here's to Cynthia!" It was a little disconcerting, especially considering it was a fairly formal dinner affair. But I am glad they have such affection for me, even if it is supplemented by SS!
  6. Me too! All these special addictions - er, editions - just aren't fair. I want I want I want. Come to me my pretties....all my little pretties (wrings hands in anticipation).

    Halloween Moon

Oh I may have to dig out my bottle then and try it again. I loved it from the first, but if you think it's matured, I need to try it again.
  8. This reminds me that I have been neglecting my Synchronicity! With all the new goodies I forget some of my faves...DYG is my fave phero mix, and Synchronicity is a beautiful scent. I think of it as Soul Food's lighter cousin. When I mix the two I have a silly grin all day long. I personally don't notice increased chattiness. It's more like a relaxed groove...um...like your college days after you just toked a nice smooth one. Too much information?
  9. Yup, stinky vinegar cheese is worth it ever' time!

    Soul Food

Scents are shapes or textures to me...yes, the shapes touch me...collide with me. Or sometimes it is a glimpse of a scene - something seen from the corner of the eye. Mothmen. Unfortunately today the "perfume" I am wearing (a phero mix I am using up from another source) makes me flash on an all-night laundromat <sigh>.
  11. Welcome, Jet! Nakai Nectar is so juicy and wonderful, isn't it? That's thoughtful of you to give it as gifts to your family. I also gift a lot of perfumes - my Christmas packages had big samplers attached this year - they were a huge hit!

    Soul Food

I find myself reaching for this one all the time. I love it. It is soft and "dry", rounded and quiet. I also use it to layer with other sharper scents to give them that sort of....spiritually softened...feel. Unfortunately my reviews are useless since scents evidently are geomatric shapes to me...heh.
  13. I wondered why this hadn't been reviewed. I love all the Love Potion variants, but this one I think particularly captures fall crispness. There is an earthiness to it, but it is a cool fragrance, not warm. I wore it this weekend while out mending fences, and with the sparkling white snow and the cold crisp air, I kept getting a lovely whiff of this drifting out of the warmth of my coveralls (hey - quit laughing! perfume is entirely appropriate for ranch chores...). Ponies appreciate good smells too. :pony3:
  14. God bless you, BI, god bless you to heaven. Stinky cheese EOW works ever' time. AS for covers...Try fruity. DH can't stand the yummy creamy type stuff, but put FRUIT in a blend and he's all over it. Have you tried Nakai Necktar? EOW stench masterfully covered by lots o' melonious-ness. DH can't get enough. On a side note, I am currently making some Stilton cheese, and during aging the stench nearly knocks me out. Smelled like I had spilled a bottle of EOW in there, or a super-strong version of "ovulating female". I laughed and had DH smell it and he said it smelled YUMMY!!! Then I told him it smelled like....yeah...he had to smell again before he agreed. I think maybe men don't think EOW stinks...
  15. OK I have to add Nakai Necktar to the favorites - it has the "stupid horny" effect. Me like stupid! And frankly the juicy juicy smell is super nice too...
  16. I am sitting here grinning about how much I've spent on perfumes in the past month....holy cow! But at least my DH likes them too. And on topic - Nakai Nectar is not only a great EOW cover, but it drives DH wild. Now with PheroGirl, which I love, he unfailingly comments that it smells "interesting" (code for NOT interested) and that is that. But Nakai Nectar he buried his face in my neck, followed me around like a puppy telling me how good I smelled until I...well we all know what I did. Magic stuff!
  17. "stupid horny" - hehehehe I got one'a them too. Neat to see what everyone else loves.
  18. I got a bottle of this as a counterpoint to PheroGirl's thick deep honey-ness. This is a much lighter juicy scent. Sure, after application I get about 5 minutes of Eeewww, but that settles down and it is a sweet and light perfume. Dh liked it VERY much (no surprise there).
  19. So I don't really think of myself as phero-motivated. I'm most interested in the perfume first. However, yesterday I noticed that I own 13 bottles of LP pheros - 5 UNS and 8 Scented....I'm kind of surprised I have so many with pheros... I have big bottles of: Honeyed Seduction with SS - my top pick, I feel sooo slinky and pretty when I wear this. Rocket Fuel (SS) Synchronicity (DYG) - top pick, workday rescue remedy for me... La Vie Boheme (IW) - YUM PheroGirl (EOW) Nakai Nectar (EOW) PG Dominance PheroGirl Cougar - purrrrr UNSCENTED: Drop Your Guard - Love it. Period. Cuddle Bunny - Love it. Period. Cougar Popularity Potion I know, I know. I haven't tried any of the Stone Labs mixes yet! That's what I get for taking the summer off. So brag on your absolute favorites. I want to hear what we all love most.
  20. I wore this over the weekend. A woman in Lowe's (yeah, we were hardware shopping...) stopped, took my arm and said "You smell so wonderful!". I was forced to agree. DH was particularly flirty as well, and kept telling me how good I smelled and bein' all handsy. I got lots of surrepticious glances and smiles, but then this is a friendly little town. Today I am wearing it at work, and everyone seems in high spirits - not party-crazy but smiling. 3 clients visiting one of the building tenants have decided they need to poke their head in my office and chat a bit. DH picked me up for lunch and commented that I seemed very "serene". Hmmm...could be the IW workin'.

    Honeyed Seductions

OK knj - honestly I am not stalking you, but I am evidently your evil scent twin... Honeyed Seductions - another of my faves. Luckily, I have a bottle or we might get into a tug of war over some of these.
  22. This one is definitely different than my usual perfumes. I think I smell the tea, and mint. I envision a dark, polished wooden box, stored in the cold, that when I open it, I catch a whiff of something...and I know the box has a history, and I wonder what was stored in there to leave that lovely cold scent behind. Strange, I know. But it's a very strong image that comes up each time I sniff it, of a glossy mahogany box, possibly pulled out from his hiding place on a gypsy van...
  23. OK that's just terrible! I have this sample in my drawer at work, so I had to try it. Starts out light and citrusy, then dries out to sort of a cologney citrus, with a slight tang underneath that must be the tea. After an hour or so it becomes very soapy on me. Very clean businesslike scent which I imagine you could wear in a suited workplace without comment. My sample's about half gone, so I must dabble some on now and again. Can't vouch for the pheros as I don't really have a ceiling to break...I work pretty much alone in a small co.
  24. Ahem...this was in my "Christmas Gifties" pile to add to people's packages. But I was feeling a little down today so I grabbed it to try out. Hey - A-nol is always a nice pick-me-up. Oh - I didn't know this was an interpretation of Florida Water! I love it! Reminds me of my dearest daddy, as he would wear FL water sometimes. The faintest citrusy watery light floral. Nothing pushy about it. My mood noticeably lighter. Dangit - appears this sample will not be part of a gift package...it may not survive past today if I keep slathering it on...and it goes on my bottle list.
