  1. Hey Revivia- This is the actual perfume SUPER with the pheromone - not to be confused with the unscented pheros-only... Here's the page - scroll down, it's the sold out one...and actually I see it was only $25.... SUPER for Men The pheros are great, but it's the scent of this one that just is hypnotic...it's almost eerie...DH likes that he gets DIHL (and strangely he says women's eyes will start moving back and forth - like REM sleep - and they get up in his space and just stand there dazed.) Hehehe - I'd say that is really weird, but I do the same damn thing...
  2. You guyses are the bestest! I've burned through a bottle and a 1/2 of Sugared Orchids, but after sniffing what Jo Anna did with Gilded Gardenia, I can't wait to try this one!!!
  3. Hmm yes haunting is a good description. Yesterday I had this on my right wrist, and all day I would get this deep, soft smell that would trigger me to smell closer. Must have been the civit - was very animalistic but in a good way. It haunted me all day, even after I had washed off and applied others - it was still there, teasing under the surface. This one is growing on me (usually phero blends have to grow on me).
  4. That actually sounds like a good combo - I'm going to try that this weekend. JALN is really a whisper, and Sexology is a huskier whisper, so it sounds lovely to me. As to phero overload....just dab and he should be fine, as long as you know he's OK with each one seperately.
  5. Hi Reviva, sorry I missed that. I'd sell the bottle for what it cost - $30 UN is supposed to be an unphero'd interpretation of SUPER - but I believe UN is a little heavier on the lavender... It's SCRUMPTIOUS but hubby really only needs one bottle...just a little dab'l do ya.
  6. After lunch I applied this. My coworker and friend is really going through it today - not a romantically broken heart, but a maternally broken one. She was in my office talking through it, and noticed my perfume. I explained what it was and offered some. She took a deep sniff and said she felt like she needed some, so she put some on...we talked a bit longer, and she left with a smile on her face (a sad smile, but a smile). LP's are a wonderful beautiful thing.
  7. Oh I hope this one gets in the decant circle - I adore Sugared Orchids (was my main scent, bottle's nearly gone) and I love peach as well. I am dying to experience this baby.
  8. I've already raided this little sniffie twice! Being a cinn-a-ho (or is that cinny-bun?), I couldn't try this fast enough. A good snort of baking cinnamon - firm and sharp - anchored by the dry, airy patchouli. The whole effect is sexy, but like gazing through a sheer curtain. As it dries down, cinnamon and the whisper of patchouli sweeten a little bit, but not much. Veddy veddy nice.
  9. On wet, this had the earthy undertones I adore. Rose just peeked out occasionally, bouncing off the wine note. After several hours, it is straight rose on me now.
  10. So after lunch I scrubbed off Round 1 and went for Round 2 - this was among them. Ooooh - floral but not FLORAL. Something soft and sneakily sweet, clinging to my skin...why hello jasmine! A little lavender to prevent cloying. Teensy bit of musk to hint at cuddling skin, moss to hold it together and ... wait ... oh yummy faint green sugar cane. Each note is apparent without any single one taking over. I really like this one. I may have found my new sleepytime scent.
  11. Tried again in the sober light of day, I can smell the apricot upon initial application. Then dirty do-me BI, then apricot, then it starts to deepen. This is a very nice BI enhanced blend. It only has a hint of LP to my nose, though.
  12. Scrumptious. Tropical feel in the pale winter sun. Reminds me ever so vaguely of Summer of Sin. Loverly.
  13. The Queen is regal and serene. Approachable, a touch sophisticated. Stately but sincere. I had this on last night, and after a bit it mingled with Soiled Dove - it was a really breathtaking combo! Lots of relaxing florals in here, which seem to dominate, but it's well blended. Ivy - the blackberry doesn't jump out at me, no. Tea is minimal as well, or my skin would revolt on me and it has not. I just reapplied so I can tell more about the drydown in a little while.

    Voodoo Valentine

I may cry. Wet, this was sheer heaven! Grapefruit happiness, tempered with sweet currant, all sexed up with vanilla and sandalwood. I rejoiced! I wanted to roll myself all in it... After about an hour, however, it turned to detergent city. Soapy sudsy ickles. Must be one of the bases, probably the sandalwood. <sigh> I wept openly. It's da bomb if your skin plays nice. Mine I will keep to put in my scent locket. But dreams of a big bottle are dashed.

    Scarlet Silk

Why you sneaky little minx! Well, it's chock full of cinnamon!!! And COMPLETELY different than I might have imagined. Smooth and glossy, with a vague undertone of swirling colors just under the surface. In some ways very traditional, but not old-fashioned. Today I have several on (YEE HAW IT'S SAMPLE TIME) but I keep whuffling this one...
  16. DH wears Northshore. He likes it, it's not one of my favorites though. The scent is fleeting (relatively) but it is unlike most of his others so it's an important part of his rotation. Hell if I had my way he'd wear nothing but SUPER & A314....
  17. Yeah, DH rarely ventures forth without his LP armor. Of the goodies you have...let's see.... Merlin's Blend - great, very MANLY MAN type scent. Always surprises me how nice it is when DH wears it (don't ask me why I'm surprised, I just am) LP3Men - not a real favorite, though he does wear it from time to time. Northshore - wears it for something different, but it fades fairly quickly and he doesn't usually bring the vial with him. Different from most of the rest, so that makes it nice. Woodland Man - really very nice, and should get more wear. UN for men - is the un-phero'd version of SUPER. I've never smelled it without pheros, but ask any lady on the forum CHICK MAGNET. My all time favorite. When DH wears SUPER, I follow like a puppy longing for a pet, seriously. I have a spare SUPER (with pheros) bottle on my trade list if you're interested. DH had a back-up of it hidden away. La Vie de Boheme - A bottle-worthy favorite. Very warm and approachable. A cuddling scent. Elementary - also a bottle-worthy one. This one sneaks up on you, lasts all day and goes through several stages. DH wears when he wants a serious & focused vibe for the day. Hard to describe the smell...soft, male and faintly leather PB: Dominance - I like this, but unfortunately the -none in it turns to heavy pee smell after a few hours on DH. He is very self-conscious (not to mention unable to shower mid-way through his business day) and therefore doesn't wear it often. I think several SO's on the forum do wear it and love it though. It is a nice MANLY MAN scent. There, that'll get ya goin'. Nice to here from a man on the forum! Lots of men wear LP, but few ever post.
  18. This one was more or less as expected. I like brown sugar and I love cinnamon, and all the notes melded very nicely. Can't speak to the pheros - Again DH's reaction was "It's nice" - which means "I am busy watching X-Play and don't want to think right now." Understood. I was hoping the est might help him destress a little, since he is tightly wound and under a lot of pressure this week... Will try later when he is caught off guard.
  19. OK dare I say I was a teensy bit disappointed here. I wanted that full-bodied-sexy-spicy rich patchouli-drenched LP Original with some Blatant Invitation hidden in it....of course I should really know better - you can't change the notes of a perfume and have the same end result. Duh. This was very pretty though, and distinctly LP upon full dry-down. It went through a few iffy periods on me - 1 sniff good, 1 sniff wrinkly nose - no doubt because of the pheros. Seems lighter than the Original, more delicate somehow with a dirty undercurrent roiling through. I never got any fruitiness ?!? I love apricot and peach, so I just must have missed it's influence here. DH shrugged when he smelled it..."it's nice". He was too busy sniffing Teddy Man on himself...hehehe
  20. Hey Revivia - My DH wears Woodland Man and I quite like it. I think you'll often find that women are drawn to the sweeter honeyed scents. Advertising would have you believe the woodsier smells are "manly"...not true at all! When your body heat heats up the sweetness, it smells like sexy-skin-X-10, just what I wanna bury my nose in. I don't care to bury my nose in the resinous scents - doesn't mean I don't like them, just that for getting close nothing draws them in like sweet warm scented skin. So did you notice anything at the club?
  21. I had mixed some gardenia oil with Sugared Honeycomb attempting to achieve just this! Jo Anna you are going to drop from delight! I had gardenias lining my patio in the tropics, and this is what it smelled like in the warmth of the afternoon.
  22. <scrambles for her vanity, wherein hides the Edge, nearly forgotten> Damn Dolly, why didn't I see this thread yesterday before I went home?!?! Lordy! -none and Cougar together? The force is strong in you, woman.
  23. This is a light comforting floral, tempered by the musk to round the edges off. I wore it to sleep last night, and then applied this morning again. 2 compliments on how nice I smell so far, but then SS usually triggers compliments in any blend. Oddly DH's first comment was "whatever you're wearing has pheromones in it, doesn't it?" WHA? Since when can he tell that?? He said it wasn't unpleasant, but he could just tell. Strange. I really like this a lot and I'm so glad I have my own bottle.
  24. I'm a dirty girl. I have "The Edge" (unscented men's)...and straight EoW. Talk about stench - my whole bathroom vanity reeks of it when I open it, and they are in sealed bottles! I keep a little roller with some mixed up. Hell I don't even bother to cover it. Just a drop under the nose, girl, just a drop, and Dom Banana becomes my mascot. And Dolly is right, be careful of the furniture. We have a 6ft Foof - harder to get hurt or break one of those, and they are...adjustable!!!! I could send you a little rolly of Edge-EoW if you like. Little goes a LONG way...

    Fairy Massacre

I too ordered this one originally strictly on the name. And it is my go-to floral extravaganza perfume. It's soo pretty without being shallowly floral...I don't know if that makes sense. And one application lasts all day without having to reapply.
