  1. Ah yes, I am always a sucker for the quasi-tropical ones. This one reminds me slightly of Pirate Bumbo, one of my favorite boat-drink scents. Soft and boozy with a passing breeze of fruity coconut. This is more of a Sunday afternoon after the Saturday night, lying by the pool under a palm tree, nursing a hangover with a whipped-cream topped, umbrella wearing, cocorum concoction that the hot bartender was nice enough to spot you. As well he should after the night before....
  2. Happy Birthday, BTW, you sexy MILF! I soooo wanted to order one of these! I still may - it is after all nearly my birthday too - and I was wracking my tiny brain trying to come up with ideas for a jasmine PE...and here you already did! It sounds just gorgeous.
  3. HOLY... I go off for a couple days and it springs up March! Well it is almost my birfday, so I might have to splurge...

    SHADOW DANCE

Gee thanks, Rosebud, I decorated my monitor with green tea at that line.

Really, luna. You really just typed that out loud? I was thinking of this for DH too - I bet it would be dance the Tide on me, but DH is another story.
  7. Actually I was debating replacing IH with TC, and then Synch II came out and I decided to do it. I'm glad I did, for overall, for me, it has much the same effect as DYG - a nice smooth realxing groove. DYG I like a tyche better, but hey I take what I can get. But I like IH and this type of blend of nols. I know much has been made about chattiness with this blend, but I don't get that at all (and never got that with IH). Maybe people just don't like to chat with me!! Tyvey - my TC is in full-strength perfume, and Synch covers it completely, but generally nols smell...strong. So unscented, unless you are one of those people who just likes the smell of nols, I'd say you will want to cover with something.
  8. Totally off topic - Pepperwood is pretty good, Mark. Even though I recoiled from the sniffy with a cry of "stinky vetiver feet!", once on the skin it is a very nice manly-man scent. DH strutted around wearing it...it's a power scent. OK on topic - Legend is a great daytime, anytime scent. Now some of you might have noticed that I like extreme, strong, slap-you-down scents, but evidently not all men like to have their perfume declare itself from 100 yards...go figure. Legend is a nice, balanced, fresh skin scent. Sometimes you want to operate under the radar, and this is a scent that people will notice that you smell "nice", but it won't shock or disturb their senses. They'll breathe the Charisma in the process.

This made me giggle. As opposed to those days when you really ache to get a stank on?
  10. I ordered TC in Synch II. Now, I don't get blabber from Instant Honesty, which this is replacing, and I don't get blabbermouth from TC. Really. But then I have a pretty good speaker button control when I want to. I like the TC, especially in the lovely Synch II, as a general feel-good downtime potion. Or I'll wear it to work if I know I need to talk someone into something...that's generally how the nols work for me and TC does the job. Now, on a personal note, last night, DH came home out of sorts - he had found out via a visit to the cardiologist that he had indeed suffered a silent heart attack last week (well, not so silent! his back hurt like hell but he didn't even think of heart attack - he doesn't have any risk factors...but anyway)...understandably, he was upset and a little lost feeling. I'd just finished my workout, so I threw on some jammies and put on TC, drew him a bath and we sat while he soaked his bones and talked about how he FEELS about it all. I really think the TC floating about in the warm humid environment helped him open up and talk about all the stress he feels from this revelation. As soon as he got out, I dabbed a bit on his neck and chest (maybe 3-4" total) and we went downstairs and relaxed for a bit. He said he hadn't felt so relaxed and optimistic in a long time. While this may be attributed to the newly-rx'd beta blockers, I think the relaxed open atmosphere TC set up helped. I like TC, as I was pretty sure I would. And I can't ask for more from any phero than to make my baby feel better when he's down.
  11. Now you keep that up and you will be seeing the 'net through rose-tinted monitors...not a bad thing.
  12. I've worn this a couple times to test and both times DH has picked it out and exclaimed how much he likes it. I think he is a bit of a citrus man-ho. While I like it, in principle, I don't feel it's congruent for me, but DH seems to think so.
  13. This is a nice Pumpkin - I am forever on the search for pumpkin scents and I have over 10 at home. This one is more pumpkin than spice, which I really like. Reminds me quite a bit of Sugared Pumpkin - creamy soft pumpkin-i-ness.
  14. IH has always been a little favorite of mine. I third the H&S - that's an awesome warm fuzzy mix. Maybe hit him with those two.... Hmmm....maybe top it off with a blast of BAM - more b-nol never hurts bonding.

    Temptasia

I have this one on today, all day, all by itself. Which is a more definitive test. It is indescribably lovely! Such a smooth, florally amber, with just enough spice to warm it up. I dabbed it on the backs of my hands and I can't stop sniffing them. Really gorgeous.
  16. I love loading up on the sexies and then going grocery shopping! DIHLs left and right. Right now I am testing out some new phero lovies (yes I am a heathen traitor - bite me). I have on 2 different men's blends and 3 women's...I am SOOO headed to WalMart at lunch.
  17. Hmmm...now I have to rethink this...do I have any new faves??? Pheros only: DYG - gone but not forgotten, my groovy friend. I feel a little like Shaggy when wearing this. In a good way Cuddle Bunny (Pharmacom) - still flicks my bic Boy/Boy - for those days, takes the red out, so to speak Scented: LAM Original - seems I wear it more & more now as a basecoat Mara's Rocket Fuel - yeah 'nuf said LP Red with Heart & Soul - never fails to get the warm fuzzies I have tons of others, but those are the top few that I pet and coddle and whisper sweet nothings to. DH, you ask? Intellectual Man - he has gone through a bottle of this. Last night he was out late, and I stood at his desk and just inhaled straight from the bottle. I love the smell of this....<sigh> smells like my darlin'. He wears this as a basecoat every day to work. Merlin's Blend w/ Swimming with Sharks - this is the blend he wears most to work. Merlin's blend is smooth but commanding, and the SWS I think lends a smooth sort of authority. For playtime, SUPER is a clear indicator of what's on his mind, and he gets lucky ever' time.\ Afterwards, he almost always puts on Teddy Man (I don't think he even realizes he does that...hehehe)
  18. Raging assload - terminology at its finest. I was just fantasizing last night about doing an OCCO with added Woozy Floozy - kind of a LLAAMM - note the bold & italics.
  19. DH tried this one right as it arrived and liked it right away. Vanilla - he's easy like that. After letting it rest a few days, he wore it again today "because you(pony) liked how it smelled." Yeah right. Well, yes, dear, I do as a matter of fact. This is warm and rich and sweet, but still masculine. He picked me up midmorning to drive me back to my office, and his whole car had the rich smell of Tonka Tobacum in it. It had transformed into something more masculine by then. I can see why everyone is gaga over this. It's the warm sexy skin smell women dig. DH likes it too, and he is a little more 'fumey evolved than some (not so far evolved that he actually likes SUPER, though, just to clarify - he has to draw the dude-line somewhere).

    Dream Lover

Demure is a good word for it, Luna. I have my broken little vial sitting on my toiletries table, and this morning as I was primping I caught a soft, vague scent. Almost a chocolatey coconut but very soft. So I sniffed about until I found it emanating from the sadly broken vial sitting on my counter. It's a demure, kind, gentle scent.
  21. After giving it a couple days to settle, DH tried this one again. Oh this is ever so nice. It has a sleekness about it, topped with a cheeky kiss of currant. For the first hours the mahogany and currant play off of each other - as Robert noted - with the deeper vanilla & tobacco holding it together. Then it finishes off with a slightly wood-tinged vanilla tobacco. It has an air of casual sophistication to it. I really enjoy it on DH. And of course I liked wearing it too, though it's a little masculine for me to wear in public - it was more that I wore it and it reminded me of DH in his absence. Which is nice.
  22. Hehehe - I slather. Like, a ring around my neck, stripe from elbow to wrist, and then sometimes from throat to pubis...if I am expecting DH to be...ahem...inhaling that area.... But don't judge by me b/c I am a bit overboard with the slather...but then I'm 40 and LAM never fails to get a "Oh you smell so good!" out of the DH (AFTER drydown, that needs to be noted!). LAM here is only lightly scented, so it melds with the natural smell of a-nol & cops, but doesn't drown out any other perfume you might want to wear. I have the LAM original, and the Pink Amber. I wear the original more often, but the Pink Amber is perfect if I am wearing a more girlie, sweet scent. Fragrance is not AD's strong suit. LP has 100 perfumes you can have "Magnet" (that's what LAM is called when it's boosted into a bottle of perfume) added into. AD just can't compete with that.
  23. I think many of us have experience with both Androtics & Love-Scent. And pretty much every phero vendor has an Alpha Androstenol/Copulins product. It's a tried and true combo, after all... But none of them offer it with the sort of fragrances you can get here, let alone that you can have it added to any full-strength perfume you like. I still have most of a bottle of a-nol/cops from LS, but it smells like death warmed over. Why would I wear that when I can have LP's LAM??
  24. So with a name like Legend, I expected a breath-stealing, sabre-rattling, go-forth & conquer scent. Something that puts it all out there and dares you to breathe in. I like it a little rough, you know. Not at all. This is really a warm, close, come-hither type scent. It actually reminded me of Teddy Man and Mark's Tonka Tobacum. A whisper of sexy male skin that you want to bury your nose in. No spicy shout, they just enhance the woods and resins. I wouldn't say the ylang ylang jumped out either, and ylang ylang and nutmeg is a combo that really turns my crank, so usually I can detect it. Tea? Mmm....not distinct to me. I can't speak to the pheros, because I was so amped up that I would have overridden any Charisma DH may have had...jus' sayin. I'm going to have DH give this a try once of twice this week, and see how it develops after a little rest time.

    Dream Lover

This is soft sweet loveliness. Reminds me of chocolate frosting - light and sweet, not heavy. Unfortunately, kittehs loved it too and pitched it to the floor, where it broke. The upside? My living room smelled as a sweet and kind Dream Lover for several hours.
