Pecan. What can I say. At first application it gives me a distinct essence of vomit sorta vibe... I have learned to overcome my gag reflex. BUT (I like big buts) - after drydown this one blossoms into the "oddly compelling" category. I have this on my inside elbows and EGG 2011 on my hands and forearms...I kept getting a whiff of something sweet and woodsy and dusty, perhaps...hmmm ... no, not the EGG .... It's the Open Sesame! I think the pecan is registering as dusty and dry, much like inner paper peel of a pecan when you firtst open it, the type that sticks to your tongue and is slightly bitter. Not entirely sure how I feel about it, I am compulsively sniffing it. ETA: "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves..." am I the only one who hears this in my head as the Beastie Boys??

Very close the original to me...a faint marshmallow musk. Not overly sweet, even. And just as the original it is a close skin type scent, not a whole lotta THROW...

I tried this last night, and I liked the aloey light greeness of it (I'm not a huge fan of green scents, although I loved LP Green). So today I washed off Round One, applied a generic vanilla lotion that absorbs without leaving any scent, and put Lucky #Slevin on... Mistake. A distinct odor of Chloraseptic wafted throughout my office. It must have reacted with the lotion and the result is sore-throat city... Yes, I lol'd a bit, but the smell really is annoying. It's calmed down now and if I smell my arm, I can almost detect what the perfume is supposed to smell like, but just barely under the medicinal shroud.

No brainer. Sugared tobacco? Marshmallowy creamy goodness? I'm all over it. Drysdown almost chewy and yummy, but the faintest hint of smoke keeps it from being cloying. Love.

I wore this last night. Vanilla without the plasticky undertones it can often get for me. Rich and very creamy after drydown, with the hint of citrus making it "fluffy" I think. I loved it! It was more-than-vanilla.

Was just wondering if I needed a boosted bottle of this...I think Lace would be a wonderful compliment to the gentle sort of uplifted sexiness of this.
-
DH wore this the other day..emailed me "I keep smelling my wrist - get me a bottle of 11 and put some good pheros in it." I had to break it to him gently...long time gone, baby. Long time gone.

Ah...such scent memories of college...many is the morning I wafted just such a fragrance...

oh oh - EGG again. I still have the merest drop of the original in a vial which I occasionally bring out to make sniff-love to... so definitely AYE on that one. A Bun Dance...hehehe...who couldn't use a little more bun...dance...ing?

I admit, I saw chocolate covered cherries and sort of dismissed this as too foody... But OOOHHH the currant. I adore that currant note and that's what I get here. A softly sweetened, slightly powdery currant. It might be cherry but my mind goes to the more sour (in a good way!) currant. I kinda adore this one...

I get lots of fruity jam and a little cop. I like it. Lasted all day long too - I am a jelly donut!

Sexology of BAM
Pony replied to Pony's topic in General questions, advice and comments about pheromones
Calli: thought crossed my mind... Yes b-nol reeks of stinky feet. Can't stand the odor. Cops I don't mind so much. But I am liking the groove from DFN, where the reek is perfumarily controlled. Course I want it ONE LOUDER... -
Sexology of BAM
Pony replied to Pony's topic in General questions, advice and comments about pheromones
Pfft. Ok so if I had scrolled down a bit, I could have found that... Hmm....OK prolly BAM then...and it is evidently a cops bomb - no wonder it so veddy smelly. -
I am debating amping with Sexology or BAM - I know EST is the ingredient difference between these two, but I am looking for a big b-nol hit.... So what do you suppose? Is Sexology BAM with EST, or is it moreso EST and a little b-nol & cops? I'm looking for a b-nol heavy hit, and thought maybe a little added EST would add a slight "awww" factor. But I don't want to diminish the b-nol bondy-bondy thing...

Just got around to trying this..and I am totally addicted. Going to get a bottle amped with either BAM or Sexology for the cozy snuggly. Reminds me of the original EGG, though I know the notes aren't necessarily the same. A not quite chocolate, not quite marshmallow snuggly cuddly scent. After a while the base musk reveals itself very faintly through the soft pillowy scent... Me likee vurry vurry

I shook mine all up nd wore it to bed the other night - hadn't worn this in a long time. I love the fruity muskiness of it...it was like a little summer siesta on a dark winter's night.

Mistress Christmas olive oil and apricot body cream
Pony replied to ladybegood1's topic in Bath and Body Reviews
I must admit I love Mistress Christmas, and when I got these 2 samps, I put them on my shelf, but I am kinda hoarding them....cause I don't want to use them up. I know - that makes no sense. I see I must slather some on along with the perfume tomorrow. -
I wore this one this weekend. I am one of those who loves the original Sexology, but I also get the "Hey did a cat pee in here?" comment with it...hehehe which I ignore and wear it anyway... This one is a touch "lighter" in aspect on drydown. Not quite so in your face skanky. And I still kept snuffling my own arm all evening, so it is attractive as ever for me.

DH wore this new version yesterday...I still get all snuggly with it, and the soothing warm male scent of the perfume is always a winner for me. Addressing B/B - I have a bottle of the original that I used to wear fairly often - it sets a nice casual, friendly and relaxed tone. Used to wear it on Fridays a lot...hmmm...may have to dig out my bottle and wear it this week. I haven't tried B2 at all, I don't think.

Geezuz save me from my Android, for crying out loud...I need that app that blocks you after certain hours from posting to FB or twitter... What drinks?? HAHA. I think I had about 1 1/2 glasses of wine. Or were they shots of tequila...eh...anyway...I turned on the long-dormant charm switch and gave out my number 3 times...ahem...and I was home in bed by 11 and up the next morning without a hint of muzzy-head.

Compromising Positions
Pony replied to Kovvy's topic in Women's Pheromones & Phero Fragrance Reviews
Liz, to me it all blended wonderfully. Was a rich sweet milky yummeh-ness. And sometimes milky ain't my thing, but it worked here. Disclaimer: I am not usually offended by cops...other pheros yes, but lady-juice evidently doesn't bother me! ETA: Oh, I just looked up Sexpionage...pfft...that's my secret home blend - a-nol, enone and cops...that I keep for...um...gymnastic pursuits. So I'd have to say I would probably crawl all over Compromising Positions no matter what it smelled like. Apt name... -
This smells amazingly similar to Sexology I to me. I just took a quick swipe, it's raunchy but not RAUNCHY, somewhat serious not a funny giddy smell. And of course...meow.

Dolce Far Niente
Pony replied to Cheshire Kitten's topic in Women's Pheromones & Phero Fragrance Reviews
Seriously, this one is growing on me. And not growing like fungus, growing like affection. I don't really get coconut, just a soft phero-ey sweet scent. I'm wearing it today. And while I hate how b-nol smells, I do like the effect. Unfortunately, I'm alone at work all day today, but I am very cuddly with myself... -

One of the first ones I tried...hehehe the name got me. Yummeh! I have several eggnog scents and usually they go sour milkmaid on me after a bit. But I think the pheros actually blend so well in this that it never goes skank. Stays sweet and milky with a slight phero edge to it (which I always think of as metallic). -
I smell jasmine! and a touch of leather! Yeehaw! I really like this one. Popularity Potion had the effect of giving me a headache before, so I sold my bottle, but it might not be too bad in lower concentration here. This is definitely a feel-good, lovely, sophisticated scent. Will try it by itself to see if I can tolerate the PP.
