NuTrix Same here - I haven't gotten caught up into starting Sugars yet.. and so many must try. With pheromone month (can't remember correct word for it) coming up in Nov -have to save/plot/plan for that too. I'm hoping I can start getting sugars prior to that. But I hold on like crazy to what others have said in other posts, something new and good always comes along so even if I miss a must have (GASP, can't process *that* thought), there's always more wonderful scents and scent/phero combos. But that said, sugars are special event bc so many that take so much time. I'm holding on that supplies will last. I"m sure there's others trying to catch up as well.

Hugs to you JudyO - how do you tell when cart is getting low? Just ordered FB - would flip out if I couldn't have done that. Only kinda kidding -- love this!

I read a LOT (and I mean tons) of reviews prior to my first order, so I kinda took notes from what reviewers were looking for etc. bc I found their format and info very helpful as this is my first time with any artisan fragrance area - and I hit the jackpot with LP as I see no need to look for other artisan perfumeries. But at end of day, review should also be fun for you to write and doesn't have to follow any format or rules or anything. I just want to do my best (taking cue from the pros) - esp with such a complex scent. I think you're so right though about comparing it to wine tasting - it's so much fun to test like that. Something I didn't mention, but I do feel like intent on this one is pretty strong - to the effect that I feel I have kind spirits watching over me when wearing. Very comforting scent - and it's so unusual, in a good way. I meant to reply to your post at same time as NuTrix, so I posted twice in 2 sep replies. OOps (sorry Halo and Luna). Also, as I put in response to NuTrix, Vanilla is heavy player and will jump out (in good way) at random times. It's a beautiful dark full bodied vanilla.

Thanks NuTrix - and you are so right about the vanilla - all of a sudden it pops back out in it's fully bodied delicousness. I swear it gets better the more I wear it can't wait to see how it ages, if my FB (on the way soon) holds up that long. Heehee. Yes the boozy notes are perfect too. Maybe no one else will like it as much as we do so we can plot hoarding now. heehee

Hi Luna - that makes total sense, guess what I meant by 'not enough attention' is that sometimes certain scents may get more 'buzz'. I was just throwing it out there since so many seem to like coco and troppo scents. Maybe since there are a only few notes one day I could get a PE out of it - I love it that much. Luckily I have FB now (partial now since I slather heee) and going to get another one in trade. So not heart broken or in panic yet.

I was hesitant as didn't want to amp certain notes but all notes and the description drew me in- had to try, got 2 samples in last order. WANT FB NOW! Ok review - the basement musty smell, noticed that too immediately - when wet and 5-7 min into dry down. I was nervous this would not play well. But then it goes away and this is a magical wonderful mysterious scent. I smell the sambuca, wood smoke, hints of vanilla, amber swirl about - very well blended yet I can still huff these out. Oh and the brown sugar in this is wonderful, doesn't go maple on me (I don't wear maple well). I actually bought bc of the 'uber vanilla' description but on me this isn't my "usual vanilla'. It's gorgeous lush deep dark vanilla, but vanilla is not the main player here. All notes have equal billing, perfectly balanced. I feel exotic, like I'm in New Orleans at night, walking through the streets, peering into lovely botanicas where curios abound. My superstitions come out a bit, but I'm all ok - bc of notes that offer appeasement to the Gods, cleansing, protection, calming. Yup. LOVE this. And so far great staying power - 4 hours in, even more beautiful than it was before. Not my usual scent genre, but I am loving the heck out of this. I need to post when I can give a better review - it's just so hard to describe well and to give it proper review but I couldn't wait. I was so excited to try but equally worried this wouldn't work, but it does. Although loving it on it's own, wondering how this would work with LP Black (which I don't have, yet... ) but based on other's reviews - both are wonderful scents and seems they would play well together. Well done on this!! When I get LFN (one day...?) going to layer with this as would be congruent for sure. For now, will be wearing this solo and feeling mysterious, seductive, and bewitching. Guess the sugars are also going to have to wait - must have this FB.

Thanks Eggers! Yes it's truly made a difference in my environment, and I like that they're giving me a special role. When I joined this particular team, it's a bit like a frat/ sorority circle of folks and I was one of the few newbies, so therefore not in the 'circle' - so I communicated one of the reasons I wanted to leave was due to that mentality and atmosphere. I think they just didn't realize (they've all been working together so long) how they come across to those that are new to the team and how visible it is from the top down. That and constant micromanagement made me miserable. Vibe has def changed. The lady that interviewed me was sad that the team couldn't offer me position in their dept (at this time - which is code for - not likely soon unless something else changes). So I guess it's better to have the chaos I know vs. new chaos with additional stuff to learn on top of the usual stuff to learn.

I have a thing with ordering samples - I always order (if I can) at least 2 bc if I like it I know I'll panic knowing I only have 1 sample. Yes, it's sad that I pre-panic during ordering. And there's a few LP variants I haven't tried that I must order more than 1. So far I've ordered a sample of LP Pink each time (bc I love it and slather this like mad) - I think I have FB equiv now. YAY!

I totally understand - I lived in TX for about 8 years and the dry triple digit heat for like 6 months out of the year was one reason I moved back to east coast. Though I'm in the south - it still gets cold (cold for the south, gets down to and below freezing) and very dreary. I'm near the beach so the humidity in the air makes everything feel like a bad wicked cold. And it rains a LOT more in the colder seasons. Winter ON the beach is harsh as the wind whips cold misty air off the water. And certainly no swimming in the ocean after midSept or so. With tourists gone, everything is less lively all around. I was born disliking cold weather - it's literally in my blood to love spring and summer (esp summer, I'm a June baby). If the TX sun didn't rip through everything (it IS stronger in that part of country) including ruining my skin due to lack of humidity and evil sun blasts, I would have stayed longer, but the ocean (and pretty clean beaches) was too far away. Luckily my skin sucked moisture back into itself within like 2 weeks after I moved back to east cost. Totally off-topic - sorry - feel free to move or delete section if needed. Just wanted to explain origin of my Fall Grinch. I honestly can't help it - most cold days make me miserable. Back on topic - In addition to troppo scents (BB&SD? ), Lady V's Sweet Pussycat, Wafting Coconut Creamy Frothy scents and the Fruit pie (cherry) scents suggested (no pumpkin for me pls - I know others love it) - what about a crisp linen clean scent - something with notes that actually do 'clean' the air but doesn't smell like a cleaning product, just crisp, clean, brightens up the home's aura. Obviously I need and love scent therapy during cold months. And phero therapy too.

I like ths one - have worn 3 times for proper self-testing prior to review. Ok, in vial - sweet honey scent, cannot detect orange blossom (a scent I love for many reasons). Wet on skin, smell the honey(s), orange blossom and some powder starts to rise - which I don't like on myself. Someone had compared this to sexology and on me these 2 are completely difft. as sexology turns into total powder on me - same with BAM original. Pherogirl honey stays true on me, there is the slightest powder scent but it backs off in a big way, so I smell the honey and the orange blossom rises. I only have one sample and will be getting more as this def is a scent I want in my 'arsenal'. Good for wearing solo, very subtle in that the diffusion on myself stays close to my skin, which is good given the amt of cops in it as I don't want to advertise to a bunch of ppl. Can totally wear solo - but next testing will be with layering at some point. I always like layering - even my Super Love scents that stand fully on their own- like to experiment with layering as it creates a totally different scent and experience. I am loving how true the honey stays! The more I wear this, the more I like it. I would go FB but my mean budget won't allow. I'm so thankful LP sells generous size samples as that's how I've been able to try many things and in some cases, like LP Pink and Cougar - have almost worked my way up to FB. Synposis: This is sexy sex sweet smutty (in a good way) honey. The orange blossom gives it body and is an uplifting scent, puts a little 'lift' in your step. It's sultry sexy.

Any other re-visits or reviews of this? Notes sound gorgeous, but I admit I have no idea how teakwood will 'play' on this one. I'm plotting planning next order and may want to grab a sample of this. I find that fruity blends with cream(s) tone down any stabbiness my skin my amp on the fruit note. For the honey in this - how strong is that note - it is sweet honey or smutty honey or another type? Some honeys go powdery on me- but I still haven't figured out if it's a honey note or a honey-vanilla -resin (particular type of each) that when put together go baby powdery on my skin. Which I don't like on myself.

JudyO, I agree! heee Where's the campaign to gather signatures? OMG - wearing it again today - it just gets better and better each time. I have it layered with Crescendo with Topper like MDC suggested. OMG hot awesome. I took a nap after work (had applied earlier today, been huffing myself all day) - anyhow after nap (about 5-7 hrs total after 1st applying), woke up with the most delicious scent all around me -and yes it was me - or rather OCCO Ambrosia. Still huffing my arm - so sexy, sensual, languid, outright gorgeous. I've worn this several times but I think this is the first time I got to fully and truly appreciate all of this scent. And pre-loaded with cops - loving that. Selfies - feeling beautiful, luscious, languid, sexy, and happy. And dreamy. I haven't tested this on others - but may this weekend - just a dab or 2 bc of the cops (otherwise I'd slather like mad).

Gosh, I want to know too!! I'm not in a similar situation but hoping to be and want to be prepared. Not that I'm evil or anything but let's face it, we all have (at least) ONE that we want to make weak in their knees and cry that they were so dumb to let us go. Or maybe that is wrong? Nah....

So just to close loop - solid offer did NOT come through - but my dept is going to move some projects around for me with the role very similar to what the other role was. I was pretty bummed when I found out - but I'm also being Zen about it - bc there's a lot going on everwhere with a fair amount of chaos. At least staying in my dept - a) work environment will be more positive now they know why I was unhappy to the point of leaving and I'll be able to learn more to continue growth in other areas. So at end of day - all good -though it was a bummer. And it was good to know the team DID want me, and still do - it's a red tape issue basically - and nothing for me personally. So that is good news too. Thanks to all for posts and support. And I learned a bit more @ how certain pheros and I "play" together. Interesting stuff. Very grateful to all and to LPs of course. ETA: Dept is actually restructuring my role a bit to give me stuff I'm interested in, part of the reason I was leaving. And that showed me (beyond the talk) that they value me and how hard I work - which means a lot. Part of reason I was so unhappy is I was working my a** off and felt like I kept getting snarky stuff thrown at me every minute. That has changed drastically and they are very happy I am staying. So win-win.

Hi Memorare - which sampler was that? Sorry all if this is off topic - I know there are the monthly samplers - was this the woman's sampler or something else? Just curious as I have yet to order a sample - I stalked the threads/ reviews a lot prior to ordering so my orders (almost all samples) have been pretty specific. Sorry to hear @ LP Pink, but glad your daughter likes it. It is one of my biggest loves here - and I agree with you - there IS soo much to love at LP.

Ok so everyone knows my love for Beach Bunny and Surfer Dude, it just sold out very recently, but perhaps it didn't get enough attention earlier? So posting here as yes would JUMP on a re-brew of this. Every single note is awesome - it is creamy, dreamy, and uplifting - posting notes here copied/ pasted directly from LPMP so all can see what a wonderful mix this is. And it's true, plumeria is not floral. The coconut is frothy creamy yumminess. And the sea notes and bergamont are very uplifting, wafting around to surround you with this wonderful scent. It's smooth, rounded and creamy - but also subtle. And scent lasts forever (I have in oil). All notes are perfectly balanced. Super super love. And for me personally, the intent is very strong - another reason I love it. The scent is love, confidence, dreams, joy, (did I say love? ) , happiness in a roller bottle of goodness. Have no idea how Mara did this other than to say, as everyone has said, Mara does great magick! "PLUMERIA ~ Love, strong ingredient for love spells. (Note: Plumeria is a fruity floral - it has a lovely peachy quality.) COCONUT CREAM, THAI COCONUT ~ Protection, purification, receptivity. SEAWEED & SEA MOSS ~ Protection, money, psychic powers, sea spells. BERGAMOT ~ Relaxant, confidence builder. Uplifts emotions, protection, attracts riches. Mental alertness, energizing."

How did things go?

Cutiepie - Use your WW - everyone who has can unite to wish for new batch of spell potions. I'm certain it's a TON of work to charge with intent and the timing of the brewing and charging - not to mention getting all formulas correct and anticipating amt to brew. WOW. I can't imagine when time would be found - we just had HUGE sale, now the sugars, etc. But yes we can hope for sure. There are a few I know I want.

I feel like LPs in general have helped me take care of myself more or better or hard to describe, just so happy how they all make me feel, phero'd or non-phero'd. These are hand-crafted, artisan scents and are so wonderfully made with intent and lots of LOVE. It carries through so much in the fragrance. Just looking through my small stash makes me happy - and smelling wonderful all of the time is awesome feeling. HUGS to you LoveStruck, and thanks again for your review. Honeycake, *how* is item C bad? Hee hee. Cougar is awesome, my only selfie I don't like is that *I* become more chattier and flirtier too - which isn't 'bad' but I always like the guy to be more flirty. Guess its' an ego thing. Shocker. The other posters here have a lot more exp than I do with the pheros, but I've read so much about the 'less is more' approach and for me, have followed that advice. Both Cougar and SS4W have gotten me positive attention - social and sexy. But Cougar (to date) has given me more glamorous, beautiful, flirty selfies. SS4W seems to make me act sexier - without my own knowledge - if that makes any sense at all. As Eggers said in one post, it's a 'hip loosener for sure' (paraphrasing). I feel more languidly sexy. Both give me additional self-confidence. But again, I have super limited experience overall compared to most posters. If you want, you can check out the SS4W thread too - a lot of good info from others there.

I've tested twice and sad to say - though all the notes work well with me- my skin does something awful to this. I can't describe it at all - everything is morphed and amped awfully. I can't discern what is amping - but seems like any vanilla, cocoa butter or honey get left waay far behind. Very sad. In a way, it's good though since I've already found so many scents to LOVE at LP. But my skin doesn't play nice with this at all.
