  1. Funny, despite the lilacs and pink rococo Fragonard-ness of this scent, it is coming across as vurrry sexy to me. Maybe that's just the b-nol and est talking, as I've never experienced them together before. After drydown I am detecting no cops at all, so the cover seems to be doing its job beautifully as sheer as it is.
  2. Exactly same for me - my nose loves it in the vial but my skin runs amok with it. I thought I was the only one who experienced this bizarre "berries=plastic" phenomenon! It seems to somehow "flatten" out and turn opaque, right? On me, the berries also totally suppress everything else, even things I usually amp like vanilla. So odd.

    Eye of the Storm

What a fantastic idea! /leaves work to go home & make sheets smell like Angel Food, if only for 15 minutes
  4. aaand that's why I (think I) cleaned out LPMP's supply! Can't wait to swim in it.

    Eye of the Storm

Almost as much as using the products, I really enjoy hearing everyone's reactions and how differently things smell on different people as well as what people "respond to" emotionally, it is its own way of getting to know people and I find people just infinitely fascinating For example look at how gloriously imagistic this thread is, you all took me on a mental and emotional field trip through time and space in a few seconds I've been looking around online for a resource that matches up what your skin likes/eats/amps, what scents you like, with personality and spiritual insight and advice or suggestions but haven't found anything, would love to hear if others have such info? OK, enough OT/BOB, just had to say that as a moment of appreciation and you've inspired me to try this one today! Will edit later with my own review ******* ETA: This was a great lesson to me in not making a snap judgment based on my reaction to how something smells in the vial/bottle. I did and said Whoa, way too green for me, it's not "me." But thanks to this thread I tried it and I'm so glad! WET: my newbie nose could only pick up one thing, I felt like I was lying in a truckload of cut yellow tulips with the stems crushed under and around me, but it was a very "full" and "round" version of that smell, almost juicy it was so big. On me it wasn't sharp at all (I had been expecting the same kind of pointy POW! that lemon does on me). I mean I could practically SEE and feel them all around me, very powerful, *very* pleasant and cheering especially with the ongoing gloomy weather here. Drying down, similar to many of you UT, it has mellowed and "widened" and become much less literal. It picked up just a little more flower-ness and less stem-ness. It feels so natural, fresh in a "neutral" way, not specifically feminine but not really unisex either. It just seems very "believable", meaning, it doesn't go "PERFUME!" but you could almost believe that I was born smelling like a garden of succulents that just got beautifully drenched with a rainstorm and that's just how I smell To be totally honest I would never have guessed I would like that or want to smell like that, but it feels fantastic. It's very uplifting and I feel strangely encouraged and energized. Something about the mood it creates is very still, the garden is silent and I'm the only one there, making me feel peaceful but also, somehow, stable/balanced. A rare instance where I believe the official description, rich as it is, actually doesn't do the scent justice! Amazing. ******* ETA again to say cheeseburger's DIRT rant made me LOL. I like some of the foody Demeters, but I agree, by the time I walk out the door the smell is completely gone.
  6. AND! it's also super feminine!
  7. It feels incongruent with the season and I don't care, it is beautiful in a light, quiet and peaceful way. I expected the spices to make it feel warm/snuggly/cozy but it feels "cool" (temperature) and refreshing instead, must be the ozone? Something about it is making me contemplative and a little daydreamy. Very nice.

    Pillow Patter

Had to come back and bump this because I have it on again today and I'm back to RAVE. It is so so beautiful and smooth and happy-making without being at all cloying. Some (most) berries turn plasticky on me but this does not at ALL, in fact I am getting a vaguely floral effect, maybe because of the combo of the berries and spice? It reminds me of real-life white or purple freesia - doesn't smell exactly like that, but has that exact quality of complexity and sweetness without headiness. If anyone thought they might like this but hesitated because they don't get along with uber sweet, blatantly-foody and/or pink things like Pink Sugar, have no fear. Sigh, another bottle attacks my bank account.
  9. This is absolutely fabulous. Lemon cake still hot from the oven slathered in frosting and with candied currants on top. SWOON.
  10. Ah, whoops! Sorry for the misattribution Calii - I must have been looking at Dolly's name as the Focus Pocus topic-starter
  11. There are no words to express how much I love Elevation Potion. Put it on this morning with the LAM and they blend just gorgeously, set me flitting around like a blissed-out butterfly on the universe's euphorically best-smelling planet. Makes me love everyone and everything. Then I went to work out in the weight room at the gym, figured it had been a few hours so the pheros were probably pretty chilled out/low by now, and the effect of this combo was like that climactic scene in The Matrix when they go into the corporate building to rescue Morpheus and mow down all those cops/security. I mean, I know rooms full of men will always react when a lone female enters the room, but I really almost felt bad, the effect was so out of hand. Not just the unanimous DIHLs but huge goofy smiles, walking past over and over and over again zombielike for no reason, initiating conversation (NOBODY talks to each other in my gym, ever). So, to summarize, I kind of like this combo. ETA um should I have put this in JUST the elevation review thread / JUST the LAM review thread? I saw some other separate topics that were specifically created for self-selected combos of pheros, so I was doing the same, but now wondering if I shouldn't have... :/ Sorry if bad ETA as with Dolly's hilarious comment about Focus Pocus -- I am finding this combo to be very appetite suppressing. I don't know if it's because of its euphoria-making factor or what, but, I'm aware I'm sort of hungry but can't even bear the THOUGHT of eating. Strange, but welcome.
  12. Wow, no one has posted Gothic Latte yet? I would bathe in that daily if I could.
  13. OOOO MMMMMMM GGGGG I know I say this about everything but Occo Pink is the most delicious thing of all time! No cops smell at all even at the very beginning, and it just keeps getting better and better as time goes on.

    Kittenish

It's as though I've got a completely different product than everyone who commented UT! I just put it on and it is ALL gushy peaches in my face with the juices running down my arm. AMAZING. Smells more like a peach than a peach does. So delicious it's euphoria-inducing. I get absolutely no caramel or brown sugar, and only the faintest hint of maple which I may be making up because others have mentioned it, lol. Maybe those things will come out more later... ETA-- FOURTEEN hours later and it is still the most luscious pure peachy heaven! I never did get any caramel or brown sugar. Just a HUGE HUGE PERFECTLY RIPE SILKY PEACH.
  15. Oh, good to know! THANKS! (and great going on the MILF btw: sounds stunning, can't wait to get mine!!!)
  16. Those are some beautiful labels! Starlitegirl thank you for mine. <3 !!
  17. Stoopid question: but if the spray is a phero - I thought it was unrecommended to put in the hair or clothes because it's almost impossible to get it out? Cops and (I think) est especially?

    Pillow Patter

I'm finding this surprisingly not as sweet or "huge" as expected given the berries. It stays close. The "snuggly" in the description is dead on.
  19. This smells like a cheerful matcha latte if they used light cream instead of milk. It's creamy without sweetness. The perfect pick-me-up for getting going in the morning on little sleep, and perfect for work!
  20. This starts out very bright June strawberries with a big throw! AND hooray this is a berry that didn't turn plasticky on me! It calms down and mingles beautifully with the musk, and just keeps getting duskier and sexier. Again, sexy food. Sexy fruit, who'da thunk it.
  21. Wow, how evocative! Can't wait to try it now!

    Cocoa Sauvignon

I also find it surprisingly light and soft considering the elements. Wet, the cocoa + violet + pepper was sensuous and delightful. As usual my skin then gobbled the cocoa within seconds, leaving a whisper of sweet wine behind. For some reason this has a "wistful" feel to it for me, dreamy in the day-dreamy / creatively inspiring kind of way (not dozing-off-in-a-garden-in-June way obviously) - it makes me want to curl up next to a fire and write poetry. Off to slather myself in more.
  23. Madly in love with the part of my arm that this is on. Smells exactly the way I expected: piping hot cinnamon bun with a nice strong cream-and-3-sugars-coffee on the side. Wish I could buy bottles and bottles of this. ETA make that coffee with vanilla bean ICE CREAM in it. The creaminess in this seems much sweeter and fattier than in the *amazing* Jo Anna's Sweet Winter Chai which of course this was otherwise reminding me of.
  24. Of course it does smell like tea (and on me I get only the black tea), but in a very clean, "modern" way. Sadly on me the lemon overpowers and makes this kind of soapy...seems I amp citrus unless it's sweet pink grapefruit :'(
