  1. Money Honey you ain't got no respect but I like to watch ya just to see what you can get. Don't laugh, but this reminds me of Ludens' Cough Drops. Not in a bad way, though. Besides the obvious magickal congruence I think it's a good work blend because it's so fresh and bright. It deepens with time in that the honey and patchouli merge to create something mysterious. In my experience with Swimming With Sharks I find that it makes people more cooperative. They're not afraid of me like with Dominance, but nor do they dismiss my input or requests, so I'd say if other people are getting this kind of effect too then it may be the most useful workplace blend overall.
  2. Okay, considering the ingredients and my experience in scenarios, I would say heavy on the Dom but lighter on the BI because of the EST. Truly, I think Dom and LAM might work better as far as a strictly sexual experience unless the bottom responds well to EST and doesn't get too sissy. There are permutations of the submissive experience, after all. I prefer a bit of spunk in the bottom if I'm topping.
  3. SB made a good point, there are some blends which end up to be more unisex, like Flapper, 'Til Death, Bubble, Hera's Eye...and I think Sugared Patchouli smells just as awesome on a man as a woman.
  4. I suppose it could. Since it promotes a sparkly vibe, it could potentially attract anyone if they notice that about you. It doesn't work on my Quince (who is 11 years older than me) but then again few things do, heh. I've only noticed that older men are nice to me when I wear it, but not necessarily attracted to me. If the blend seems to accentuate those qualities that you want men to notice then it would be worth a try, at least.
  5. My favorite of the men's scents (that are currently available) is Down and Dirty for Him. My favorite of the phero blends is Teddy Man, it's an incredible combination of scent and intent. As far as my Quince's preferences with LP, he likes Sugared Forest and Woodland Man, which are both woods-based scents. I like UN on him as well, which is the un-phero'ed version of the greatest male fragrance LPMP ever had, Super for Men (with added lavender). If you wanted the best phero-based blend in terms of sexual attraction, I'd go with Sorcerer.

    Thief of Hearts

I can only give you a first sniff impression, but it is very fruity.
  7. I will know if someone else has the exact same reaction to this one as I did if they mention a particularly well-loved LP...but for now I'm not going to say what it is. Because it could just be my brain which is telling me this and no one else will get it. (Yes, I know I'm being annoyingly obtuse. ) What I will say is...wow, I love this! And I was a-feared because ylang-ylang and I don't normally get along, but it lends a quality as opposed to the actual scent and it's just so pretty and bright and although yes, I normally like my smellies darkity dark dark or NOM NOM NOM, this is like sunshine on water...and what does sunshine on water do? It sparkles. Get it?

    Jungle Colada

Well, the strawberry is the strongest note on me, but YMMV. There are also two Private Editions available which are predominantly strawberry: Lor's Honeyed Strawberry and Musk and Piia's Juicy Strawberry & White Musk. Out of the three, I actually prefer Lor's PE. But you should definitely try this if you're a strawberry fan, and M&D always make really fun summer scents.
  9. Ah ha...the ol'nudie greeting...works every time! Hopefully he had his Vitamin E today, eh?
  10. You're gonna have sex in a car? Make sure you don't get rousted by the 5-0!
  11. I figured your goal with NSD was to have a simpler version of Sexology, and it definitely has that vibe. It will be interesting to see how the peach and the honey act with the musks in Lascivious Peach...what the evocative qualities will be.

    Jungle Colada

Jungle Colada A good-time, feel-good, summery, fun and sexy concoction of frothy Strawberry, Coconut, Banana, Mango and Papaya. Wonderful love, sex and devotion properties! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Magickal Meanings of Ingredients: MANGO ~ Increases male libido, spiritually elevating. PAPAYA ~ Love, protection, fertility, magnification of devotion. BANANA ~ Fertility, potency, prosperity, lightens emotional burdens. COCONUT ~ Protection, receptivity. STRAWBERRY ~ Attraction, draws fortunate circumstances in all areas of your life. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is very very very strawberry! Although it's a different kind of strawberry than what we've had with the recent customs (IMO...Mara correct me if I'm wrong). Of course it could be that it has a different quality because of the other elements. After a time the mango comes out, juicy and bright. There's an underlying creamy sweetness which I attribute to the other notes (even papaya for me has a creamy quality rather than overly fruity) but I would say this is more brightly fruity than Me, Jane! which of course had vanilla so there was a different dimension to its' sweetness. Like Pirate Bumbo or Summer of Sin it's a vacation in a bottle, a yummy drink with fruit and umbrellas on a nice hot day with lovely scenery (and I don't just mean the beach ).
  13. I fully admit I prefer unwashed male to washed male (unless I'm doing the washing, that is).
  14. I gave it a shoutout in "Smells Like Fucking," sorta.
  15. I KNOW, RIGHT?! I actually went and bought some after I read the book just to see if I got the same impression. I couldn't take it straight, though. I had to apply it to something and let it dry several days before I could get near it, but then? Oh baaaaby!
  16. Okay I have finally articulated the burgeoning trend in the customs...fuckable gourmand. Yeah M&D, I dare you to market that! And so next in the series... For some reason I thought this would be "sweeter," like, more food-like, but Jo Anna's description is pretty spot on in terms of the Sugared Honeycomb evocation...that same very obvious sexiness. Although it seems (from the description) that there's only a small amount of amber, it's giving me that SLF feeling, along with the density of the vanilla...it's got a musk-like quality even though there's no musk. And there's a kind of nuttiness waaaay in the back (probably the caramel giving me that impression). Throw some pheros in this bad girl and you will get NOM NOM NOMed all night long!

    Pithivier

Me too. I really enjoy the scent of violets, but most violet accords do not like me at all. Heh, I'm not a baker either, although I have learned to make a few things for Quince, but they're very simple sweets. Luckily there are some lovely bakeries in my environs for when I want to get him a special treat. My son, on the other hand, is much easier...he's the Cookie Monster!
  18. I'm only going on first sniff impression but lawdy yais, this one is definitely smutty! It's very thick and sensuous yet also juicy and sweet. The brown sugar top note is especially nice. It's like "sexy hippie," heh. But not what you usually think of...more like a high-end bohemian who likes to get around.

    Pithivier

Pithivier A decadent, romantic dessert of Baker's Vanilla, Chocolate & Almond pastry, with a syrupy jam of puréed berries and violets drizzled over top. Mmmmmm....will make you feel fabulously delicious. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Magickal Meanings of Ingredients: VANILLA ~ Aphrodisiac, inspires happiness, playfulness, sexual arousal, lust, vitalizing. CHOCOLATE~ Lightens emotions, evokes feelings of love. ALMOND ~ Fertility, stamina, masculine energy, business success, money, prosperity, wisdom, intuition, insight. VIOLET ~ Love, faithfulness, modesty, calming, balancing, healing, protection, draws luck and fortune, lust. BLUEBERRY ~ Protection, communication, peace, calm. MULBERRY ~ Luck, willpower. protection, strength. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ All you violet lovers, I think you will really like this one, if the violet is as prevalent on you as it is on me. The gourmand notes are really there in the vial (wet stage) while after application it was more berry and violet. It's really interesting to have a combo like that with a sweet base, because I've tried a couple others in the past that were usually berry/violet/resin of some sort and they didn't work on me...but this does! After a while the gourmand base becomes sort of a skin scent to support those other elements. What I like most is that all of the other notes keeps the violet from going powdery on me. And I have to say that this version of Pithivier sounds way more delicious than all the recipes I've found online!
  20. LOL, I'm rather lopsided like that too. I think that's why I've always ended up with science/technical types because I am interested in those things but I ultimately have a hard time understanding them unless someone talks to me like I'm a three-year-old. *dreamy sigh* I love Chandler Burr. There are very few people, to my mind, who are as compelling on the subject of scent.
  21. "ponders* If you want amusing, how about....What A Peach! Immediately I started thinking of something like Musky Summer Delight, though that's kind of corny, I fear. Oooh Mara, did you use tonquin? *purrs*
  22. Well at least Girl/Girl is still available to add to something else if you find you can't live without the reactions it causes...
  23. This reminds me of Last Breath of Summer, in that it's a citrusy floral. Although it has more of an orange aura to it than lemon. It does have a sort of clean evocation to it, which of course on my skin normally equals "soapy." *sigh*
