  1. Writers should be flogged upon request of course!
  2. I like the one for Jungle Colada the best...fantastic job, sir! (And Mara, hey...research is research! )
  3. Ah...well that makes perfect sense then, thanks. I can see where that would be connected to congruence also.

I got a sniffie of this a while back...I was a bit leery because Winter Solstice '08 doesn't like me too much, but that delicious pastry evocation in the vial was a siren song I could no longer ignore! On me, though, it's very jam-like and I don't get the pastry at all. So I'm not sure whether to be disappointed about that or not.
  5. How does that work, exactly? I'm really curious because I have a method of being "invisible" but it relates to magick, not pheromones.
  6. That's kind of the point I'm making...jealousy is something which is irrational and therefore can only be slightly placated by the use of pheromones, but never wholly fixed. Men have mood swings too, and jealousy is a negative facet of a man's psyche, just like any other negative emotion. Even though I am not of the opinion that it can be solved in this way, I would posit that EST is something which could bond him to you - regardless of whatever behavior you are actually exhibiting - and that could be a method of attempting to get him to trust you again.
  7. Dude, I feel like I don't even know you. Actually, I have a way to combat jealousy but it involves highly stylized erotic scenarios and has nothing to do with pheromones at all. But the other has to be willing to play in order for it to work. It's fun for more...secure, shall we say...people too.
  8. Sorry Ajia I didn't see this before! It's on her album The Other Side of the Mirror.
  9. Wow...when I first wore this it gave me a scent memory of Avon's Roses, Roses cologne (or maybe it's To A Wild Rose). I think some of the other notes made the rose very powdery on me. Wet, this has more of a traditional rose evocation with a woody base, like roses growing near a wooden fence. Over time the clove emerges for just a hint of spice but it's tempered by the wood notes. Surprisingly the linen does not come out on me at all (unlike Scarlet Silk) except maybe just the slightest hint of dusty cloth. Eventually the rose is gone altogether and it's all vaguely spicy wood with a tiny hint of vanilla waaaay in the background. Really interesting how it evolved on me.
  10. Copulins can give self-effects, it really depends on the person. Usually it's a kind of intensely sexual feeling, like suddenly you're in the mood.
  11. Actually there are major differences between the Solstice blends from the last two years, so it's really that they create a scent for every solstice which features a variant of the LP base.
  12. No, I've never done a custom...Villainess had a soap a few years back called Pieman which was that scent and I really liked it. I can never make up my mind what I want more in a combo which is why I've yet to order one, heh.
  13. In my experience Teddy Man does not help with cramps, just mood swings/PMDD symptoms. My heating pad is Quince's rival in so many things...especially menstrual cramps. therapygirl's suggestion of pain killer + caffeine is the best for cramps/headache.
  14. *whew* Although I do have to say that one of my favorite combos is blueberry and honeysuckle.
  15. Given that's what Q&Q already experience with Sexology? *thud*
  16. *smacks forehead* Still, so very awesome.
  17. OMG, Duncan sang at your wedding, you wore Eric's famous shirt onstage...IS THERE NO END TO YOUR AWESOMENESS?!!111
  18. I was thinking about what you and Lor have said about b-nol being "truth serum" and how my take is somewhat different, but then again, as you've said over and over it's about congruence. I experience more of a metaphorical nakedness with b-nol, if that makes any sense. And I want that, but some people would not, and yet it's entirely inherent in the situation in which I use it. So I realize that the things I say are informed by my experience which is why it's great when you come along and do employ that academic demeanor (to an extent) so that we all know the overall effects and not just the subjective ones.
  19. Eric was definitely my heartthrob till Ian came along! And *squee* I would love to see pics of Duncan and Ian. *dreamy sigh* Okay, back to the regularly scheduled drooling, coveting, scheming and impatience, lol.
  20. This is very clean and soft on me...almost (*gasp*) aquatic. But I actually like the clean evocation, it's sort of the same vibe I get from Christine's Tropical Musk. I think the amber is giving me that feeling of clean skin and then the other elements are like the remnants of fragrance on the skin. This one is very nice for summer it you want something lighter.
  21. It does happen for some people. I can't really deal with the male verison of Dominance myself, which is interesting because I really like Wanted Man, and they both have the same components, but in different concentrations, I imagine. It's in more than a few blends, notably Cuddle Bunny. Go here to find out.
  22. I'm thinking you probably can't because: Now look y'all, you can't go geeking up LOLcat. It's NOM NOM NOM (!) and you have to say it in a silly loud voice.
  23. Mara: I forgot to mention that this one cracked me up too because a couple months ago I commissioned a friend of mine to do this caricature of TR (there's several references at work but primarily the Rabbitt one, heh):
  24. This is much of the same as in Pony's(?) thread about favorites...the blends I prefer not to be without are: -Cuddle Bunny (either one although the P-Com is my favorite, of course). -Cougar Potion -Sexology -beta-androstadienol (and by extention, Teddy Man and whatever else Ail is dreaming up to rescue us from the PMS monster).
