Oh, my, the creamiest of peaches and cream! This is gorgeous -- fresh, almost green peach, very definitely fresh fruit rather than candied. And the most gorgeous full bodied cream with a dizzying shot of vanilla. Lush, sweet, powerful -- and it's funny, when I read the description, I thought huh, not what I would picture with Audacious but now that I've smelled it, it makes perfect sense.

mmmm.... I'm getting a gorgeous piney resin cast to this one! Honey is far, far in the background for me. I think I can just pick up the civet, but it's feeling much more influenced by the woods than the honey and none of this is reading dirty on my skin. I'm with JLisa -- it's fabulously clean! Given all the reviews, I'm eager to see how it wears in the long drydown. ETA: The long drydown..... oh, THERE you are, you SLF, you! Oh, man. Gorgeous sexy honey musk with a tiny bite from the woods. Mmmmmmm.

Hm, maybe it's the placebo effect then, because my dad swears by it! But go by what Halo and QG say, they know way more than me!

Glad to help! They told me what they found best was to dab a little on the space just below the nostrils -- worked like a charm.

My folks both got good results with Balm Bomb and GREAT results with B2.2. And that's just using phero-enhanced scents (Beautiful Dreamer and Unisexy) not Un strength.

I'll do proper reviews when things have had some time to settle and be properly tried (as opposed to now when I'm dabbed on every available inch of skin) but just had to pop in and squee! My box of wonderfulness arrived today and OMG Mara! The Olivia's C&J 2 is PERFECT, just what I was hoping for -- it has its own distinct flair, but it's absolutely in the spirit and sensibility of the original! Golden Goddess and White Chocolate Rose will definitely have to be scrubbed off before I go back to work because they are each in their own way pure sex in a bottle and far too fabulous to risk around the office. And Patti's Gypsy -- what a stunner! I'm tempted to grab a second bottle but will hold off until I've had a chance to hit the sampler. I promised Erin she could have the first official sniff of Mad Irish Farm Girl, so I'm reluctantly tucking it away until our next visit on Dec. 12th. So excited for it! OMG, I grabbed this off my nightstand for the first time in ages and it is beyond spectacular! The smoke note has gotten a tad stronger with age and everything is melding perfectly. Totally feels like wearing a white satin nightgown from some film noir, one which comes with a .22 caliber pistol with a mother-of-pearl handle. This is one of my all-time favorite concepts, and the execution is flawless!

Well, I know you know what I like!!! I've been emailing with Erin and she is over the moon about both her label and her notes. And having placed my monster order, I am now sitting on my hands not to grab more from this enticing list! It's very difficult. Perhaps I should get moving and go to work. :-)

I can't resist. Please may I also get a bottle of Patti's Gypsy? And dear Potion Master, reading over my own descriptions and many others, I cannot believe how complex these blends are, how many extra notes seem to have made their way in! I am really speechless at how much effort and care and craft goes into the Private Editions. There is no place like LP anywhere else on earth. Thank you so much!

Oh, oh, oh, Mara, I am speechless at the wonderfulness of the notes for Comfort and Joy and for Farm Girl! These sound absolutely perfect, and I can't wait to get them and share them with Erin! I am also going to need: Tyvey's White Chocolate Rose Lisa's Golden Goddess I may be back!

This is one I hesitated on when it first came out, and she who hesitates is lost! But then I was able to get a bottle through the trade threads and oh, wow! Wet, it's pineapple forward, but a pineapple I can wear -- a burst of juicy fruit, no plastic and no over sugary flavor. Then the vanilla and musk start to bloom in the drydown, softened and anchored by the creamiest of coconuts. This is such a perfect evocation of the concept -- it's got softness, maturity and complexity, while at the same time being drop-dead sexy as hell. Congrats, Stacy and Mara, for yet another home run!

Oooh, JLisa, do you have your PE in hand? Or is that coming next round?

OMG these all look amazing! I have been lecturing myself recently about how I should ALWAYS sample before getting a FB but some of these look like such winners I am going to be very tempted just to go for it!

For me it definitely is! The scents are not at all alike, but it works in a way for me that is similar to Coconut Breeze -- another one of Mara's perfect evocations of a very specific atmosphere/landscape.

Oh, yay, I've been looking for this thread so I could rave about October Laundry! I absolutely adore this. For me, the linen is most prominent, but it's a very soft linen compared to Sugared Linen. I feel as if the vanilla is more present as a softening texture than a scent note. Everything else is so subtle that I have trouble picking out the individual notes (also am in the midst of a spectacular cold right now) but this manages to evoke perfectly what Invi described, being outdoors and smelling laundry coming from a nearby house. It's both nature and clean scent. And it's very soft and close-wearing. I have raved about this is a couple of places, so I'm going to repeat myself here and say what I love most about this is that I'm absolutely in love with it AND it's very work appropriate. I mostly don't feel comfortable wearing perfume to my main job -- I'm working closely one on one with people and need to foster an atmosphere of focus and safety, not draw attention to myself or be heightening my own personal attractiveness (as I would feel comfortable doing in retail, for example). Most of the time if a scent is subtle and clean enough for work, it's not ringing my bells. But this one is shivering perfection. I put it on and whenever I need a lift I can discreetly huff my wrist. Anyone who loved X Appeal will want to snag a bottle of this! I'm so glad I was a greedy grabbykins and will have two!

There are a couple of contenders for me with the October NRs -- we'll see what Pheromas reveals! It's not even about the budget for me anymore... I just have SO MUCH perfume and there are only so many days and nights to wear it all! Also, I went a little crazy on the PE front -- I've got a ton of bottles of Olivia's Comfort and Joy 2 coming, since I need to give some away, as well as the PE I've ordered for my bestie!

Ooh, JLisa, that sounds perfect! So interesting that Steamy Bikini didn't work for you either -- I was so excited about that one and so sad my particular skin chemistry wouldn't work with it. And doubly glad this one exists and does! I have to report I reslathered at about 9:00 pm last night and woke up this morning to a perfectly gorgeous soft settled coconut skin musk. UMMMMMMMM.
