  1. This one is my favorite of the water sprays. I bought a fb and am now down to 1/3 of it. I like to spray it on my clothes as I walk out the door if I am wearing a sweet or light floral scent. I also have the lavender marshmallow fb, which I love too, just not as much as this one.
  2. I have been going to this one quite a bit lately. It doesn't scream floral on me at all. Rather it has an essence of floral that is so interwoven with warmth that it brings to mind the end of a day spent in the sun. Or like if I had worn a stronger scent on a warm summer day and then fell asleep in a hammock for a couple of hours. Sun kissed summer skin. I love it and will be getting a FB since I used my sample up.
  3. I am loving this sample! It wears very close to the skin for me. The combo of light floral, light wood, and light musk is perfect for me to wear to work, gym etc. I love it so much that I am going to order at least 1 fb for sure. It reminds me of getting my first apartment after high school, a long time ago. My boyfriend at the time and I moved in together. He later became my son's father, an engineer, a patent attorney, and a bonafide jerk...but I digress. We moved in during June and it was such a beautiful time. I was full of love, hope, sunshine and enthusiasm. Everything was bright and carefree. We had a tree outside our bedroom window on the 2nd floor and it had a blue jay nest. They were loud as hell, but I loved checking on them and watching them grow. I'd sneak out while my boyfriend slept and make a big breakfast with the windows wide open so the morning breeze would fill our apartment. We would eat, plan our day, and usually head back to bed for some rollicking fun before we began whatever adventure awaited us that day. Somehow this scent reminds me of all of this. I must have had candles or some other fragrance that was from that time frame that is triggering such a strong scent memory. I've worn it several hours now and I can still get a whiff if I sniff my arm directly, but it does fade very fast on me. I'm going to try again with lotion. I'm also thinking of getting a roll on bottle and converting part of it to a small spray. I'll roll and spray to hopefully have it last longer.
  4. Why have I not tried this?? Sounds totally like my kind of thing. I love airy fresh scents.
  5. I prefer OCCO White to BBM. I know I am the odd one here when it comes to BBM, but I detected no fragrance, just pure cops the entire wear. Had to trade it away because I just didn't get anything from it. OCCO White has never failed me. It is simple, versatile, and reliable for me and I use it a lot.
  6. I have been using a trial spray of this and I just got a FB of oil from the trading post. I do get hits from the spray, but never a single selfie. I have tested out the oil by itself and can definitely tell a difference. I felt more energized, friendly, and generally on top of my game. I also had women noticeably want to be near me, which I've never noticed with the spray. I must be using a smaller amount of the oil and it is closer to my sweet spot than when I use the spray. So DD, if you get hits with the spray, you may find that you have a whole different experience with the oil.
  7. I'm thinking I need to pull out my LP Red tomorrow. It's funny, I usually wear a different scent every day. But when I wear LP Red, I fall in love all over again and usually wear it for multiple days in a row. It just seems to be congruent with every un-phero I have and match whatever mood I may be in. Sexy, perky, party, cozy, heart-to-heart, creative...whatever, it matches them all.
  8. I got my shipping notice today!! Can't wait to try out some new goodies!
  9. Thanks Eggers! I have a sample of Velvet & Steel that I have been avoiding. In the vial it seems to be much sharper than CTM and not the same vibe to me. I'm going to wear it today to see if it morphs into something resembling CTM. I will be a happy camper if it does.
  10. I'd say that yes there can be too much phero action for me. I have to decide if I want a spray of pheros that are lightly to medium scented, or a scent that has about 25-30% pheros depending on how much the scent can take. For me, it makes a difference in the application. I will be much more light handed if I am spraying a phero w/ a light scent compared to a scent that has some pheros added. And since I am using little spray bottles I am not taking a chance of ruining a whole bottle of anything. I also got a bottle of perfumer's alcohol from Save On Scents recently. I think shipping was more than the product and I had to be invoiced 3x because the shipping carriers kept changing. But now I have a big ol' bottle that I can use for a long time. A few months ago I tried a sample of Hanagumori and was sad to see that there were no bottles left. There were trial vials however. I purchased 5 of them and transferred them to a roll on bottle. I kept the trial vials though because I could see that there was a bit left in each. Yesterday I used the perfumers alcohol to lightly rinse each sample vial, shook it up, and then poured this into a little spray bottle. Now I have another little sprayer of a beloved scent.
  11. I prefer to have my scents and pheros separate so I can mix and match. I have been making little mini-sprays if there is a scent/phero combo I want to play around with. Since I am so fickle I don't really want to get a whole bottle of a scent/phero when I can play perfume lab or not depending on my mood. Now I do have a few that I had boosted when I first started with LP. I have The Good Witch boosted w/ Perfect Match and Elan Vitale w/ unCougar. Since these were with me from the beginning, when I smell these scents, I associate it with the phero and my initial reactions and hits to it.
  12. Unscented Popularity Potion, Wall of Protection and samples of Seer, Ionia, Mysteries of the Orient, Aqua Fresca, and Sugared Frank & Myrrh. Why oh why did I forget samples of Levitation, Fleur de Vanille and fb of Dheas? That's was I get for ordering before my coffee kicked in. I'm beginning to think I am sabotaging myself so I always have an excuse to place another order.
  13. Arrgh, I keep forgetting to get a sample of this! I make loads of lists but then go all noodle brained when I place my order. Just placed an order this morning, but I know there will be another one soon. Crazy how one order naturally leads to another one, and another.....
  14. I was so excited to discover his sniffee this morning as it matched my mood upon application. I wanted something tart and a bit fruity. I got the passion fruit and lime and it felt like a win for sure. It felt fresh, tart and cool, all at the same time. I did get a very wee bit of rose but it was so far in the background I didn't pay it any attention. Then I get to work and the rose starts creeping up. It started with a whisper and now it is as strong as when I tried Passion In Pink. So super cloyingly sweet that I could gag. I so loved it at first but the rose won the war of conflicting scents. I will try searching for a different refreshing lime dominant scent.
  15. Any reviews for those that have received their samplers? What does this compare to? More masculine or definitely unisexy? Sandalwood is so iffy on me, but the other scents listed are winners.

    Ionia

YAY! I've been waiting to see a review. I adore raspberry scents and have been tempted to go for it with a FB unsniffed. I have a feeling this one would be a winner for me. Now I'll have to see if I have the patience to order a sample first or dive in FB right away.
  17. I have to finally resign myself to the fact that I can't wear heavy cocoa butter scents. I tried this out yesterday. I love me some coconut, but when combined with cocoa butter, it smells heavy and makes me somewhat nauseated. I'm not too surprised though because I can't go near Odalisque without feeling a bit queasy. I have been able to wear cocoa butter if it is not the predominant scent and it is coupled with something green or floral. Boohoo me.
  18. Finally got around to trying out my sample. This is another marshmallow that I am absolutely loving! It is definitely creamy, but not thick or cloying. I don't pick out a distinct licorice scent at all. I love Purple Puff, Tease and now this one too. I would never have pegged me for a marshmallow lover. Prior to LP, marshmallow scents from other artisan perfumers were so thick and overly sweet to me that they made me nauseated. There is something cozy and light at the same time with LP's marshmallow scents. My daughter says they are "fuzzy". I agree.
  19. OMG I'm so happy to hear this. I was seriously thinking I'd have to sit this one out because I can't wear mica. Yay!! Now I can plot my order.
  20. This may be a silly question, but is glitter the same as mica?
  21. Oooo! Love the theme and the labels, especially Radium Girl and Ionia. Such fun!
  22. Wore this to work yesterday and it was instant love. Clean, creamy coconut, and green musk with a bit of juiciness. I'll want to wear this all summer. That is if summer ever gets here and if I don't use it all up before then. Gorgeous. I want to wear a bright flowery maxi-dress with tropical flowers in my hair, listen to island music, drink an exotic cocktail and make a new friend with a name I can't pronounce. I'd better put this one away because once I start wearing it I won't be able to stop until it's gone.
  23. I just love your descriptions LV. I am always amazed at how well you can describe the feeling of a scent. I read it and think...yes, that's exactly how I feel when wearing X too!
