  1. That would be such a good idea. Especially since during PMS surges in my earlier years, destroying entire cities and villages like the super monsters in the Godzilla movies seemed like a good idea. Fortunately, no cities have been destroyed and PMS is now less frequent.
  2. I was thinking of buying a bottle of this. Is it foody at all? How would this compare to LP Black or any other fragrance with darker notes of amber and sugar?
  3. I just put in an order for samples of Eve's Temptation, May Day, Vampire Bait, Dirty Pretty Thing, Sugared Frankincense and Myrrh, and another sample of Sugared Amber to tide me over. I wonder if Vampire Bait is anything like Lolita's Kiss, they seem similar in concept.
  4. I was wondering about how intense the Nag Champa would be. Thanks for posting this.
  5. This is a bit foody but still very light. It was soothing enough for me to wear to bed and feel relaxed. The amber and chocolate notes came out the most, the rest of the notes were almost subliminal.
  6. This is a fruity sweet floral, and that's how it came out on me. I like enough to but a full bottle. I wonder how it compares to Spring Equinox 2007. Has anyone compared the two?
  7. The buttercream and icing notes are the mostly noticeable and the rose trails behind. It is very sweet and foody. I wonder how this would age and if the rose would become more promient. Foody scents can get a little loud on me, so a drop goes a long way.
  8. This is fresh and light, for me it came out tea like with floral notes. Another witch's brew of notes to create a fragrance that also comes across a bit aquatic and mellow.
  9. I detected a soapy note in the sample vial. I think that this could be the wild pansy, but I am not sure. This is also a light and fresh floral perfect for spring. The blue musk adds just the right amount of vintage feeling, I could easily picture this as a popular fragrance advertised in a late victorian women's magazine. I've worn this a few times to try to figure it out, but it is still a mystery to me in some ways. I could describe it as a vintage soapy floral with musky green undertones.
  10. Thank you for clarifying what the potion is intended for. I am sorry if I came across naive, the scent's description and the reviews at first confused me. As for women flirting with me, it doesn't happen often. So if ladies do start flirting with me, I'd be a bit surprised and flattered.
  11. I'm a bit confused about this one, is'nt supposed to be a lesbian love potion? Or is it a best friends type of potion? Or both?
  12. The peach note lasted the longest on me, with maybe a small hint of sugar. I may have to try this a few times before really coming a conclusion if it will work on me or not. Love the idea of it though.
  13. I loved this from first sniff. The sugar was the most prominent note and the amber, softly walked in it's exotic and slightly dark glory. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I detected that this combination of sugar and amber is among the combination of ingredients in Love Potion Black. I'd love to combine this with Sugared Patchouli and see what happens. My sample vial is running on fumes, so a full size bottle is next.
  14. Thanks! I'm way behind on writing reviews. I'm almost willing to bet that May Day might be a green floral. I'm a May baby, so it would be perfect for this time of the year.
  15. I wonder if this month's sampler will include the phero blends. I can't wait to try Vampire Bait, May Day, and Eve's Temptation. I bet Eve's Temptation has a fruit or maybe an apple base to it.
  16. I finally now just ordered a full size bottle of Robin And Marian, and the new monthly sampler. I especially can't wait to try Tantric Butterfly or the newest incarnation of the Spring Equinox 2009.
  17. In the gift shoppe, you can buy the new releases in a set of full bottles (10 of them, I think the description says) for $199.95. Look for it under gift sets and specials. If I was a betting woman, I'd bet that these new releases will be released by the end of next week.
  18. The honey claimed dominance and then let the amber and musk dance. It took a while in the dry down to smell the amber and musk. I agree that this is not an innocent scent, it's a grown up sexy one to be sure. I am very glad I was able to order a full size bottle. This should be rebrewed, simply because the combination of ingredients are so good together.
  19. At first this came out on me smelling very masculine and took a few hours to soften in the dry down. In the dry down, it gentled into a softer musk and incense like tone. The attars and resins in this are very strong, I think of this as more of a masculine scent. Just like Christine's Sin City, a little goes a long way. I dabbed a bit of this on my wrist pulse points and the scent stayed a very long time.
  20. This came out as a fruity musk (possibly because of the patchouli) with touches of floral on me, really sexy and sweet. Well once this is completely sold out, it probably won't be rebrewed. So I am glad a bought a bottle when I did.
  21. It smells Indian to me. It has a resemblance to Nag Champa incense mellowed out with floral and fruit. A little bit goes a long way, all I had to do is put a tiny bit on and the scent became intense. A sexy and hedonistic scent, it fulfills the promise of it's name, Sin City.
  22. The U.S. Postal service should be delivering today. Presidents' Day is next Monday, February 16th. I think that all Federal offices including postal delivery are closed. I normally have good experiences with their delivery services, but once in a while that's a glitch.
