    Vain

It is pretty light for me as well, but I really like it. It is light, but deep. It is a pretty close scent, yet hot and spicy at the same time.
  2. On me, this is like the soft lemon creamy filling from lemon sandwich cookies. It has a slight buttery overtone and a hint of ginger underneath, but I really get the creamy lemon icing or filling. It is delicious. I am so sad that I missed out on a bottle of this one. I scored a sample in a trade and am going to savor it.
  3. This one is definitely green. It smells like pine, but I don't think there is pine in it. Very strong wet, dries down to a soft forest scent. It is crisp and cool. I like it more than I expected to. It is uplifting, giving a burst of energy when I sniff it. This is a great winter scent. I did not expect to like it when I first put it on. It definately needs to dry and meld with your skin. I really enjoy it after it has dried down.
  4. After it dries down, I get a wonderful vanilla and amber with pink sugar. There is the faintest hint of apricot.
  5. Drinks, warm bed and lots of LPs... It will be like a home away from home...
  6. hmmmm... This week... 1. Sugared Amber 2. Sugared Mint 3. Crimson Black 4. LP Black 5. Sugared Cinnamon
  7. Quicker than quick. I could have purchased an inexpensive used car for the investment I have made in LP!
  8. New releases are typically released mid to late month and are for the next month. For example, the scents released at the end of January are designed for wearing in February. That is how it was explained to me by the Master's (Mara/Danna). The can also take a while for the ingredients to fully meld, so be sure to shake the vials/bottles. As the perfume "matures," sometimes the scent changes slightly and becomes deeper, creamier, spicier, etc (the "ier" depends on the scent and how the ingredients react with each other). Did I miss anything?
  9. I am patiently awaiting the arrival of my mis-delivered package. I am soooo excited. All of the orders I placed since late November are in this box... Three customs, two regular orders and all of my sale purchases. I think my December sampler pack is in there as well. I am sooo excited. It really will be like Christmas! I am going to have to really buckle down and limit myself to two or three full bottles from this months releases. With the size of the package I have coming (around 26 bottles), I might have a hard time explaining more than that to my hubby. On the other hand, with a package that size I can probably sneak in two or three without notice...
  10. CARNATION, BASIL, SUNFLOWER, CARDAMOM, WASABI, GINGER, FRANKINCENSE, AMBER, WOODS & Treasured Hearts Wet, this one smelled very sharp to me. It must have been the wasabi & ginger. Now that it has dried down, I can smell a hint of floral and the faintest spice. Mostly, I smell the frankincense and woods. The amber is there, but very subtle. It is a different amber than is used in their sugared blend. The Treasured Hearts is covered well. It is a very light deep scent, if that makes sense. It is deep and has some nice staying power, but remains light at the same time. Hmmm, what can I relate this to... Excuse the chocolate reference to come, this has NO hint of chocolate in it - I am only trying to relate the deep and light comparison... It is like having a tan (1/2 the chocolate), 2% hot chocolate instead of a full-fat, full-chocolate one. It is not as rich and has a much lighter texture and flavor, yet it is still chocolaty and creamy.
  11. This is a soft creamy pumpkin with a really nice amount of spice. It is not foody at all, nor does it have that pumpkin pie type smell. The true pumpkin sits on top of a pillowy sweet creamy musk. The spices are lightly sprinkled on top and are not overly done. I have two samples and wish that I had snagged a bottle before it sold out... Edited to add that it is much creamier now that it has matured than it was when it first came out. If it smelled like it does now a couple of months ago, I might have snagged that bottle!
  12. Well, let's petition: Rebrew, rebrew, rebrew *stomping feet in time with words*
  13. Did you try to throw yourself in front of the bus to save it?
  14. You should check out the review thread. It is LP Red with more cinnamon, Amber and some other stuff. It is beyond fantastic. It was a limited special edition for Magical Omaha... Ladies, please convince Cindy to bring it back!
  15. Oh, I'll cherish mine if I get one of those little sniffers! I hope you get to feeling better... Being sick is just the worst! I always crave ginger ale and mac 'n cheese when I am sick. Comfort foods...
  16. starlitegirl - I have 4 bottles of Sugared Mint and more than 5 scents that I have 3 bottles of. I also have 3 customs that I will be giving 30 days and scooping up any remaining stock (currently 2 of each). Like Dolly said, you are soooo not a crazy hoarder. This is normal behavior.
  17. I have a bottle coming. I'll post a review as soon as it arrives. My package was misdelivered, so it is being resent... Oh, the agony!
  18. Was it someone's custom? Will there be no bottles released?
  19. Welcome jet702. I am not sure if you have seen it yet, but almost all of the scents have their own thread in the "reviews" section of the forum. If you are interested in trying something out, you can check out the review thread and see how it has worked for other folks.
  20. I scored a bottle of this in a trade. It is not very fruity on me at all. What I get are the spices, resins and a hint of a spicier floral. It is a heavy scent when wet. Like thick night air, laden with the scents of the day. On dry down it is a softer dry spice. The sun rises and burns off the thick dew, leaving a dry breeze behind. I can smell what I think is chili powder in the background. Very subtle. I like this one.
  21. I think in images, so my brain associates the scent with an image. Could be a color or shape, could be an entire scene.
