  1. What's your address... I'll buy you one of those little cameras that fits on a button. Just make sure your chest is aiming upwards so I can!! I never get to see a Henry Cavill look-a-like.
  2. I agree Tyvey, I love hearing those stories. I would cry if I didn't have Cougar. That and SS4W are my two absolute needs. However, I'm always open to more but those two are requirements. *Oh, and I wish I'd ... I mean we'd ... gotten to see the Henry Cavill as Superman but not your type guy.
  3. I've thought it over. I'm going to have to pass. One pregnancy was enough. I am not a Duggar. I just don't think I could pop that many out to make it worth it. Seriously though, I read that article and I have to say that it's kind of repulsive. With so many children in this world needing homes, it's really sad and to hear that many are "bought" for the purpose of gaining a way into the country makes me angry too. I guess I'll keep my firstborn and find some other way to earn a little LP money. I just thought of an autumny/wintry scent that sounds good at the moment: a hot buttered rum, sweet and creamy? Does Mara have something like that I've overlooked? I want to slather some or learn how to make a good one.
  4. I decided to wear this today and I swear this is like S&V's little sister! I always picture that every time I roll this on. I like it a lot. There's so much to it I can't really get any one note. I can still smell it now about 13 hours later and it's still got a wee bit of vanilla lingering... sort of like the last lingering effects of LP Red.
  5. Did it turn out the way you remembered it? The more I wear this the more I like it!! I don't get as much brown sugar though which is a bummer because I love brown sugar and maple scents I wonder how this would do maybe with a dab or two of LAM Brown Sugar?
  6. Ah Katz... isn't this a great one?? Not sure about you but we were a fairly chilly 97 degrees today!! I agree with you about the sweetness of the maple but it doesn't seem to hang long and then you get more the dry leaves and earth feel. I purchased back ups of both this and Autumnal Equinox 2011 because I have a feeling I will be slathering this stuff quite often between now and February. Did you try any of the PE Lina's Autumn Leaves? That's another one that is so comfy. I love this time of year... in other places that actually have trees that shed leaves and people burn fireplaces. LOL
  7. Ok, so is the offering of firstborn children still on the table? LOL Holy Katerina Suit, I thought the August sale was the best time of the year here. Who am I kidding... bring it on ladies and gentlemen. Bring it on. My best buddy and I are ready.
  8. And we have another winner!!! Great review Cherise! You pretty much summed up Katarina. This is the perfume you wear when you intend on taking no prisoners. LOL Edited because I am a lousy speller.
  9. Congrats to everyone who's moved up and to JOC for hitting the 6500 mark!! I see I'm a Woozy Floozy now!!
  10. Seriously!! LOL As much as you've had wearing that stuff, I truly wish I had a bottle. I could use some of your good vibes in my job search!!
  11. Oh my gosh, DD, you haven't tried it yet? I'm with NuTrix. Love this one. Katerina is such a sexy scent. I'd slather in it every day but I don't think it's a work friendly scent. My husband who pays no attention to perfumes 99% of the time liked this one so at least on weekends I can slather when I want. I think you'll become a fan as well!!
  12. I'm actually kind of thinking of getting either some G2 or B2 in the future. I'm excited to see what the fall season brings... this summer was pretty amazing for perfumes.
  13. Welcome!! This is the absolute best place for finding scents you love. Looking forward to reading your reviews and seeing what perfumes end up being your loves.
  14. Oh yay! I hope you both enjoy the OCCOs!! LP Red and OCCO Red are great together as are the other color coordinated versions. Great for layering with other scents too! I like the OCCOs solo for times when I don't want quite the incense or resiny amp that my skin does with LP Red/Black. They both strike me as a bit little brighter and easier if I want to wear to work. I didn't know the origins of OCCO Black as related to Ann's Sugared Black Amber - one that I always considered trying!! Sounds like I would have liked it well. Can't wait to hear your reviews.
  15. Welcome!! As a former lurker myself, I can say you will have a great time coming out of the shadows here.
  16. Actually, selfies is what I meant too!! You will get them, that I do believe. I actually didn't even think you could get self effects when I first started and I don't feel them with all pheros but if you sample them out you will find ones that really do work. I thought Sexpionage would really get to my husband (he appears to be my worst test subject) but my self effects were off the wall. So in the end, I still got what I wanted. You will too. That's just part of the fun is being happily excited when you find just the right thing for you. Some that work awesome for others might not quite do it for you, or you need more or less. Don't be discouraged. I'll be excited to hear when you find that OMG match!! From what I hear, there may be phero sample sales in the future. If that's the case, that will be a great time to test some more out too.
  17. I probably could have used a little more. No hits per se from others (although my cube mate was Ms. Talky Talky all day) but it certainly made me all impish this morning. My husband was looking at me like I woke up on the strange side of the bed... in a good way. I might try a bit more on the weekend. I've totally got the bug to combo this with Honey Ho this weekend and see what happens!

    Honey Ho

Cheesy was kind enough to do a trade and let me try out Honey Ho. Oh.My. Goodness. Honey and I have a love/hate relationship. Most of the time I have to really wait awhile before it calms down enough that I can enjoy whatever the scent is I'm wearing but this is just goodness through and through. I'll be wearing this with BANG!, with Gotcha, mixed with some other scents, by itself. It will be everywhere. I love it!! There's a bit of a soft powdery floral that comes through, something that makes it fresh. I wave my arm in the air and I get this lovely sweetness that lingers but still feels slightly naughty. This honey and I are making plans for the weekend.
  19. Believe me, you can get positive effects!! You are experimenting and you'll find out what works for you. It's so different with everyone that there's no absolute one way to wear them. Once you find what works and how it works best on you, you'll be glad you experimented. Every day is a new learning experience around here.
  20. Can't wait to try this baby out... after so many awesome reviews, I must see how it goes up against SS4W. Anyone have any certain roll pattern they use with best results? I put some in the cleavage and a dab on the inner elbows. In the bottle, my first thought was "Whew! Smell those cops. :P" On me though, it's not bad at all. I don't mind the smell of cops anyway but it seems to blend well and I'm drying down before I put anything on anyway. The layer for today is Cinnamon Vanilla Musk. Considering its really light and sheer, I don't smell any bleed through and since I'm not really around massive groups of people like in training, if the layer is too light, it won't be quite as noticeable.
  21. Welcome aboard. You've got a great start and Vladmyra is right, if you're not quite sure about CB, give Velvet Kisses a try. Its a really delicious chocolate concoction!! Can't wait to hear your thoughts.
  22. Definitely try Cougar Potion. It's completely different from Enduring Appeal and although I like that one, it doesn't compare to Cougar Potion!!!
  23. My understanding is that the ingredients were proprietary so I'm not sure if anyone knows for certain. I thought that it had a smidge of cops in it but it must be minuscule because I can wear this on my clothes, in my hair and I've never had a problem with it. I love it for work because it makes everyone around me happy and relaxed and jovial... something that is sometimes desperately needed. I can't say that I've ever felt grumpy later in the day but I can tell when the effects start to wear off. When its still "fresh" (as in until about 1pm or so), everyone is just happy, helpful, playful. Towards the end of day, everyone, including me, is more mellow... like we got our party on and now we're kicking back with a imaginary beer, feet up on the table. In other threads though, some of the more experienced members have mentioned that some ingredients in pheros can burn off sooner than others so it could be possible that is what happened. Hopefully, you try again though and see what the effects are at other times. There do seem to be factors that can also affect how we perceive them (i.e. time of the month, sickness, etc.)
  24. I thought I'd seen a thread somewhere in here about this and I found one. Hopefully some of it helps to answer your question. This site is great because you can find almost ANY answers you need!! http://lovepotion.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=5244&hl=%2Bpheromone+%2Bhair+%2Bshampoo&do=findComment&comment=126460 Actually it talks more about build up on the skin but it does talk about using a clarifying shampoo on your hair to remove everything. ETA: Here's another one... not necessarily all about hair but has some good info for hair and issues if you get the wrong stuff in your hair (aka cops). http://lovepotion.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=1078&hl=%2Bclarifying+%2Bshampoo&do=findComment&comment=14431
