  1. Thanks Mara!! I don't mind waiting, this OCCO is truly special and I'm sure it will sell out again....I bet everyone is going to be in HOARD mode....
  2. This potion smells and feels like a magical rainforest surrounded with lush vegetation and exotic flowers. I get the green foliage, I get the tropical flowers, I get the flowing cascades….It is a beautiful composition and I can appreciate its beauty, but it’s just not for me. It opens with strong Pikake flowers combined with tarty pulpy pineapple and some green notes dancing around the flowery heart. To my nose, Pikake smells very gardenia-like, tropical and almost fruity and it complements the dominant pineapple note very well. Bamboo gives it a slightly masculine edge, adding to the greenery that permeates the scent throughout dry down. I have never been able to smell hibiscus in any perfume. I adore Red currant, but I didn’t get any. IMO this potion could be proudly worn by a guy, and it would be soooo lush and exotic… Compared to Rainbow Falls, BC is greener and its floral notes are sharper and headier. Both are sweet and richly exotic, but in very different ways. IMO Rainbow Falls feels more soothing, bright and less floral whereas Blissful Caress has a strong note of pineapple, a continuous green undertone with a defined floral base. I think it is a wonderful carrier scent for A-androstenol, but I OD very easily with it in heavy amounts and I have to love the carrier scent too, so I’m gonna pass on this one.
  3. I was looking forward to liking this one since I’m really into Ylang Ylang. Sadly, it didn’t work for me. I get an initial honey blast, but it mellows nicely. I also get my beloved Ylang Ylang but it’s too sheer. I get no fruity notes. It has excellent longevity and a nice throw.
  4. I have never smelled real rhubarb in my life and the outstanding tangy note I get with it is unlike anything I've smelled before. I don’t like heavy incense notes, so it worried me that I got some of it in the opening. It opens with an instant tangy and refreshing splash of nectarine and pomegranate, with an incensey note I get underneath, but it settles down pretty quickly and becomes fruity and bittersweet. If you are not into churchy incense, just let the incense stage pass and wait for the high pitched tang take over. The nectarine is fleshy and juicy, as well as pomegranate. It starts out slightly musky and it becomes a dominant note towards the end. I also get whiffs of translucent, sheer amber. Overall, it is tangy and summery but it doesn’t lack depth, on the contrary it feels sophisticated and chic. I think this potion is perfect for night wear. Longevity is average, but it projects really well.
  5. OMG this potion is lovely, it has a sensuous creamy woodiness that reminds me a bit of the cedar+patch combo in Portmanteau. I love Portmanteau and Sensual Harmony, and I think Spark in the Dark is not extremely feminine as SH and not as masculine as Portmanteau, I would say it is more neutral on the Unisex side of scents. Not as boy-ish, not as girl-ish, just perfectly neutral... On the opening I get sugary cedar with light sheer amber and non-dirty patchouli that grounds the base, allowing the musk to emerge and join the cedar adding depth and sensuality. When I wear this I feel warm, cozy, elegant and super sexy! On Dry down I get something earthy and creamy, it must be the cedar evolving and mingling with musk. I didn’t get any lotus flower. To my nose, this is all creamy and musky wood! IMO it has lots of Unisex potential and it would be perfect for tempering overly sweet fragrances. It lasts for ages on my skin and it wears close to the skin. It is extremely FULL BOTTLE worthy!!
  6. I love this gorgeous blue summer potion! It is sensual and lustful, but remains light and sheer, it is a complex fruity floral fragrance that won my nose and my heart. First I get a whiff of indolic tuberose but it steps back after a few seconds giving way for the tropical notes to shine. On my skin I mostly get pineapple and coconut, and blueberry steps into the spotlight for a few minutes. Magnolia and orchid are quite shy compared to the voluptuously warm tuberose which later emerges and mingles with the coconut cream. I love how the coconut note further enhances a creamy, coconutty facet that I sometimes get from tuberose. During dry down I get lots of creamy musk with a blueish undertone that comes from coquettish blueberry showing itself again for the grand finale. Sometimes, I get a hint of mango and amber. I seem to be anosmic to hibiscus, but who knows maybe it is there. I have no idea how maile vine smells. There is a special place in my heart for florals like jasmine and tuberose, and I think Mara did a wonderful job creating a summery scent with floral depth. I know most of our LP love and affection goes to the yummy gourmands Mara blends, but she does florals and foody florals wonderfully well too. This potion is a morpher on me and this quality makes it so exciting to wear, it really surprises me with sudden twists and turns. It is totally Full bottle worthy, and when I get mine I can’t wait for it to age, I bet magnolia, orchid and tuberose will turn out lusher and lustier!
  7. Cinderella is a sweet, pinky girl after all… This slipper smells like Pink mandarin with happy and joyful pink mimosa, with subtle honeyed hints of honeysuckle! It has a light flowery background with a juicy parade of pink citruses walking to the main stage. Mandarin leads the pink parade followed right after lemon and strawberry. I love how the mandarin note turns out so incredibly juicy with a mild honeyed facet that enhances the bursting flowery honeysuckle. Honeysuckle and mimosa are not overpowering at all, they are the base notes that hold the pink citruses together and make them last for ages on my skin. I don’t get any orchid, vanilla or pepper. It has excellent longevity, and a very nice sillage! If you want to smell cute, long lasting cuuuute, then this one’s for you!
  8. Once again I'm late to the party but I'm so excited to see the awesome labels! I loved Melted Dream's kinky and naughty label...Melted chocolate, or ice cream? Mmmm, strawberries maybe some animalic musks? I want to like this one, 'cause I want that porn-ish label displayed in my LP collection!! Bridezilla is screaming at me!!! Maybe it is bridally, but with a hint of something dark and goth...Could it be a floral with earthy and/or chocolatey goodness? Resins? Agua Fresca...I just loved the name in Spanish. Is this one like famous Mexican Aguas Frescas, like Agua de Horchata or Agua de Jamaica??? When I first saw the Anime mermaid I thought it would be a variant of Tail or that it would have a seaweedy note, but Mara said it was about Fresh, summery Frescas....maybe cucumber or tamarind Aguas Frescas? I can't wait to try Cheeky, Aloha Pumehana and Purple Puff....From the PE's I lthink I might like Joc's Almond Musk.... Congrats Mara & John! Where do you get so many scent ideas and new themes??? You guys rock!
  9. My nose must be broken or something but I don't get anything creamy, dairy or honeyed. I do get a super fruity tangy and summery sheer potion. All I get is Watermelon Jolly rancher...I was hoping to get lots of pear, which I loooove and many of you guys seem to get it, but I can only smell tangy candy with a watermelon punch. I wanted to love this, don't get me wrong it is lovable and sweet, but it is just not for me.
  10. Luv Truffle is a deliciously earthy fragrant composition that is much more complex than other gourmand scents, it is rich dark and you can almost feel textures beyond its chocolatey qualities. This is a creamy hazelnut coated in chocolatey cocoa with hints of earthy mushroomy truffle. It smells AND feels like Nutella or like Ferrero Rocher’s chocolates with an earthy edge! I get a nutty saltiness from the hazelnut. I also get a crunchy tasty chocolate/cocoa combo paired with the bittersweet hazelnut note. On my skin, the coffee note is very subtle and not overpowering . There is also an earthy muskiness that comes through it all and mingles with the rest of the notes, thus grounding the base and tempering any sugar overload. I didn’t get any minty notes and since I’m not a fan of mint or peppermint, I’m glad my skin doesn’t amp this note at all. And I love anything that smells like damp earth, so the mushroomy earthy facet of the truffle note totally grabbed me, hooked me and now I must own a Full bottle of this!…I’ve never smelled it before but I wonder if the marshmallow root adds to this potion’s earthiness? It didn’t remind me of Velvet Kisses, but according to my nose it has a striking resemblance to Glistening Buttons minus the honey and with lots of textures….My bf says I smell like a crunchy Oreo cookie when I wear this…so he likes it! I read on the internet that truffles contain androstenol and pigs track them down by smelling this phero . So I figured this potion is a perfect phero-carrier scent for our men to track us down too…
  11. Caramel Cupcake Superfine Butter Scrub * Only highest grade bakery flavorings were used in this mix - most all natural or organic. Including Madagascar Vanilla Bean Paste (see the little dots of vanilla bean in the picture?), 2-fold Vanilla Extract, Clear Vanilla Extract, Madagascar Vanilla Extract, Sweet Dough Bakery Emulsion, Butter Extract, Caramel flavoring. * Crafted with pastry-grade Ultrafine Pure Cane Sugar. * All natural base of soy butter and moisturizing oils (apricot kernel, grapeseed, avocado, sunflower). I swear this scrub is an instant wrinkle smoother! I noticed a huge difference in ''parentheses'' lines around my mouth, this is amazing! The moisturizing butters in this scrub feel like a moisturizing serum, they’re very rich and if you have very oily skin you might find it too greasy for you, but I have combination skin and this works just fine for me. I love how gentle and soft the superfine sugar feels on my skin…You can feel the soft sandy texture of the superfine sugar, very spa-like…I’ve had expensive department store face scrubs and Mara’s CC scrub beats them all for quality and price… If you liked Darling Clementine scrub, you'll love this one! Scent wise this yummy scrubby is all eggnogy and caramelly! It kind of reminds me of Compromising Positions, YUM! I did taste it, and it is buttery and fluffy vanilla-y! A totally edible gourmand scrub, but like Mara says you probably shouldn’t eat it…
  12. Congrats on your first PE JOC!!! Can't wait to see it !! I want one too, I need to make up my mind about the notes though...
  13. Ok, I'm testing this mango beauty for the first time and it is already going GGG! I must say it is THAT good... It opens with a fleshy ripe and juicy mango note, it is a pretty spot on mango scent, it smells exactly like when you slice a mango...so juicy and bright! Then I get the cherry, but it only hangs around for a while on my skin. While it does, it adds a hint of tanginess to the composition, but it fades away really fast on me. Then it is M-a-n-g-o reloaded!...and it is as good as it gets...I get no dark vanilla or cocoa in this one. To my nose, it feels like a sugared mango fest, with some cherry showing up but it is mostly sultry and tropical MANGO... I get more mango from OCCO Ambrosia than from Tyvey's Mangoish, which I love too, but I got more of a sunny citric caramelly goodness with it... This is too good to be gone forever...I hope Mara makes it permanent! I bet it would be awesome as a pheroed body lotion... It has amazing projection/sillage, but I still have to test longevity...so far, so GOOD...
  14. Mara & John...you guys rock!! A thousand thank-yous!! Everything smells and looks edible...especially the scrubs, OMG! The labels are sooo pretty! Thank you for the wonderful extra goodies you sent, the body lotion is incredibly moisturizing! I don't smell any Cops at all, thank you for this wonderful extra, the quality of this product is superb...When you have the new body lotions up and ready I'll buy tons...
  15. Another Tyvey’s PE that has won my heart and nose…This is a one-of-a-kind warm citrus fragrance filled with character. It opens with a sparkling yet deep and sophisticated citrusy note followed by a buttery, luscious Ylang Ylang that feels like cashmere wrap around the citrus. I think Blood Orange was an excellent choice among the citruses, since it is a fuller and deeper citrus note with just a hint of grapefruit , and my nose also picks out a raspberry-like facet during dry down. Meanwhile, the Ylang Ylang retains some of its floralcy, but it is creamy and suntuous…I think I just realized I love Ylang Ylang!! This potion strikes me as being a cross between Scented Cougar + Sensual Harmony minus the sandalwood. It is as chic and refined as SH, but it also has a joyful zesty vibe that’s very Cougarish… I hope Tyvey considers a re-make someday…I have a sample Lor kindly sent me and it’s side by side with my beloved samples of Mamelons de Cerise and Glistening Buttons…*sigh*…the ones that got away…
  16. Welcome Livinginparadise! Let us now what potions become your new LP loves...
  17. @Countess...Wow, massage oils and shower gels? Didn't see that coming, but it sounds pretty effective, hehe...thanks for sharing!
  18. Thank you, Mara! I might try it, but to be honest I'm good at crafts and stuff like that, but I was always kind of messy at chem class in high school, jeje...So, when you have the new body lotions ready, would you consider doing a phero boost as a custom made body lotion?
  19. Great report, Cheshire Kitten! Haven't tried Red Lace yet, I already love LP Red, and now after reading your review I think I need to sample this ASAP...
  20. I bought a bottle of this potion unsniffed because I knew I would love it...To be fair, I have to say all of your previous reviews convinced me I had to get a bottle and I don't regret it... I know it may seem weird, but my crazy nose keeps remembering Girly Twirly when I slather this, and to me it seems like Special D is an ultra milky chocolate version of Girly Twirly, except for the type of cherries...The red currant in this reminded me of Girly Twirly so much, I love this note and I never would have thought something so bright and tangy would go so well with a milky chocolatey note....both potions have cherry, but different kinds, the one in Girly Twirly is super tangy, whereas the cherry in Special D is just like the description says, syrupy, like honeyed cherry, yum! Special Delivery smells exactly like chocolate milk...it is as milky as it gets, and to add sophistication to an already soothing scent, syrupy cherries balance the creaminess and the tangy red currant gives it a subtle, edible sexiness that really makes me wanna lick myself... Oh, and I've noticed that if you apply a chocolate body lotion underneath it lasts longer, but on its own Special D already has great longevity and a nice sillage, just enough for people around you to notice you smell totally edible...
  21. Yay!!! I want to be LP High too! Thanks for your awesome feedback, Pele... Aww, thanks a ton for the useful info, Mara! I really appreciate it... That means I may need to get Audacious in DPG...I just have another question Mara, let's say I want to scent the body lotion with 3 mls of Special Delivery and I also want to add Audacious...do I add other 3 mls of phero oil? Maybe it would just be easier to scent the lotion with a Pheromone enhanced perfume like "Far,Far Away", right? You are so cute, Goddesslynne! Thank you for your tips!
  22. Hi, Goddesslynne! Thanks for your fast reply! How many times do you roll the scent or phero blend? PS...Sorry for not using the Multiquote button, but it doesn't work on this computer...
  23. Thanks for your reply, Tyvey! Yup, the ratio thing does worry me a bit to be honest...But I would love to try an Audacious pheroed body lotion...I know I'm a lightweight too Tyvey, I have to be veeeery careful with blends with A-nol in them, since I seem to OD easily on it, and this is when it can get frustrating I know.... But I get sooo good self effects and consistent hits with Audacious everytime I wear it, I have to give it a try...Anyways, for now I'll try it with an unscented body lotion or a vanilla one maybe, and when Mara makes the new LPs body lotions I'll try it too.
  24. Thanks for your reply, Pele! I'm glad it worked for you, this means it may work for me too if I keep on trying more phero blends by adding them to a body lotion...Unscented body lotion, what a brilliant idea, Pele! I wouldn't have thought about that... EO stands for Essential Oils, right? If if is not much to ask, how much of your pheros did you add to the EO blend and the lotion?
