  1. Hi, Baroness! I have sent them emails for an invoice with the 10% Etsy already figured in. I just itemize it all out in the email and they are okay with it or correct my math. But you can still get the discount for ordering Etsy items.
  2. Welcome to the forum and the wonderful world of Mara's scents!!
  3. Mara - I love the labels and the name theme. Could that possibly be the often talked about Nox with a pheromone addition??? Also, is Sensual Harmony the one I’ve seen on Etsy (on my list) with an additional pheromone? I am also glad to see permanent additions. And I really was set on just buying a full bottle set this time around. My wallet thanks you for being able to settle for just a sampler at the moment. That makes room for other full bottles! Am looking forward to sampling Nox and Teddy BB. Also looking forward to Money Potion. And, of course, anxious to smell the scented pheromone versions. The scents are always such a good match to their pheromone counterparts!

    Infusion

This begins as bright berries and then settles into the red musk. It's interesting. Don't know if it's for me, though. It's bright, but it turns kind of "perfumey". I think Mara made a bath product out of this scent or something similar and it really does remind me of a bath and body kind of scent. I don't find it very fall-like, so I think I'll set it aside for my "berry" month or Valentine's Day when I feel like a "red" scent. I didn't find it to be overly strong, but it was one of the sample swipes that lasted a little longer. I will definitely revisit it, though. The "fruits" (as I guess I should call them) are really good in the first wet splash, almost edible! I guess it all depends how you feel about a red musk drydown. I am undecided or not won over...yet.
  5. I got a FB as a freebie on my first order (a year ago). What a bonus! Sage and blackberry? Two of my faves. There’s musk and tea in there. It is such a nice calm gentle fragrance with blackberry! This is not something I would have picked for myself, but I love it. I treasure my discontinued full bottle. Thanks guys! It will always remind me of my first introduction to LPMP scents when I pull it out in fall.
  6. I had a sniffee of this and finally bought it in the sale. I think this is the perfect Autumn scent despite there being no pumpkin. In the bottle, I get a sweet apple in the forest. Freshly applied it is still that bright tart green apple in the forest. There is also a hint of chocolate in the air. It has it all going on – woods, apple, candy – I smell a little caramel, but I like that the apple is bright and crisp and doesn’t make the scent real sweet. You later get some more of the amber and caramelized sugar, but it pretty much stays the same. While I was trying the sniffee, my daughter came downstairs and said “What smells like Halloween?”.
  7. This smells so good! I love all the notes! I love the final result! I remember that SS4W puts me in a charming, chatty mood. This scent is just about perfect. I never tired of it all day. Usually, I wear something different every day, but with this one I felt like doing a repeat for the next day. Actually, I found myself thinking that this scent was the only one I really need anymore. DHEAs! I get all the yummy notes, but mostly the brown sugar. Later in the day I was at yoga with my body heat coming up, and I swear I smelled chocolate. So, thankful it’s permanent.

    Scarlet Leaf

Bought this in the sale. I get an almost medicinal floral out of the bottle. Upon application, I get a tart fruity chocolate. Then I get some floral, probably the woodsy note I perceive as floral, still with chocolate. It is not as chocolatey as I would have expected; so, obviously, it’s very much pomegranate. It dries down to something spicy with a hint of chocolate. It is not as strong or long lasting on me as some others. I expected a fruity chocolate which is there, but I equally get a spicy “floral”. For what it’s worth, my son told me I smelled good, like cotton candy about ½ hour in, then later he commented that I smelled like “honey”, but he has limited scent interpretation. This is a tame, fresh, fall scent and not overly chocolate. It may contain patchouli, but I sure can’t detect it, but then I enjoy and never really have issues with patch.

    Titian Sweet

This was the other 2015 'Weenie that I really like. And I never thought the combo of orange and caramel would work! I only had a tiny swipe one and it lingered. It bloomed from a strong beautiful orange scent and dried down into the wonderful caramel drydown that Mara does. I love smelling like her caramel drydown. I don't know how she gets a beautiful caramel out of maple, but this one is. Maple can be a little overwhelming, heavy, and pancake-like, but this one really dried down to a true yummy caramel. I almost got a honey overtone, I think due to the multiple orange presence. I'm not sure what season I'd wear this in...Ultimately, it's a bright sunny caramel. Another simple scent I might need a full bottle of.

    Candy House

I ended up trying a dab of all the 2015 'Weenies' yesterday (all over my arms and hands) in shifts, and this was my favorite -- maybe tied with Titian Sweet. A simple, yummy pumpkin scent that, luckily didn't just dwindle down to pumpkin pies spices on me. It actually leaned more to a candy pumpkin on me almost reminding me of butterscotch. I actually felt as though it could carry over into the Christmas season, it reminded me of Christmas. This is the one I will likely go FB on as I don't really have a simple pumpkin scent.
  11. I love this!! That would actually be a good name for the virgin version! But, oh dear. I bought this unsniffed since I missed out last year on a full bottle. I haven't tried it yet, but it smells good out of the bottle. I do remember trying my last year's sample (sparingly) and thinking "root beer???". I think I translated the licorice (which I never thought I'd like) to root beer, decided I liked it, and then it was gone. I sure hope this year's version doesn't smell like plastic on me!!!
  12. Welcome! Rocket Fuel, Rocket Fuel, Rocket Fuel!!! Definitely, try a sample of that one. Mara makes a lot of coffee scents and they are usually mixed with vanilla, chocolate, and caramel. I don't like coffee (even to drink), but even I like some of the ones with coffee. Definitely, try some of the coffee ones. In fact, you are going to find a lot of things that you thought you didn't like! I've ordered many a bottle blindly and I haven't ever gotten anything I didn't like. But liking everything can get to be a problem.
  13. Congratulations and welcome, LexiJo. You are definitely found the right place! I recommend Caressful Breeze w/Blatant Invitation. My husband also liked OCCO Ambrosia 2015. Haven't tried any of the LAMs or BAMs yet, but I am certain that they would deliver.
  14. Hello, pastelplushbunny! Just wanted to welcome you!
  15. Yippee!!! Gonna get me some Flying Potion this year! As everyone else has said, the labels are exceptionally beautiful.

    Hi!

Welcome, IndieAna! Related to Indiana through marriage and my dear sweet husband. That also explains why Halo is so nice. Have fun with your samples!!
  17. I actually wore it that same day, but took awhile compiling my review. I really like this! And I have nothing like it! It really does embody its name. Lisa thought of a great idea and Mara brewed up something special. When I first apply it, I get spice cake with a smidge of cream cheese frosting. Then the sandalwood pops out with the “treasure of African spices”. I don’t know if I am imagining it, but I swear I can almost smell the wooden treasure chest, the wooden ship, or the wooden barrels on the ship. I am actually getting something wooden from a long ago time. Then it dries down into a smoky, creamy, spicy sandalwood -- almost like sandalwood incense yet still retaining a sweet slightly edible quality. I’m sure that the coconut crème is what gives it the creaminess. And, yes(!) , no plastic that I sometimes get with coconut. It seems as long as the coconut is creamy, the plastic note stays away. I am not sure that I ever detect the rum, but maybe I am perceiving rum as the “wood from long ago”. It wears light, but lasts. I still could smell it the next morning. Bravo!! And I loooove the label!!
  18. I am seriously considering a November Pheromas full bottle set as a Christmas present to myself!!!
  19. Thanks, cutie.pie for posting the link. I was never really sure how checking the inventory worked and/or too afraid to click the final step to find out!
  20. Hi! I also purchased your PE and got it a few days ago. I love the concept, the photo. We went to Disney's Caribbean Beach resort this past month and stayed in a pirate-themed room and it was themed down to tiny details! I wish I had had this for vacation. Arrrr..... I expected mostly sandalwood based on the description, but smelling it from the bottle it is heavenly. Coconut creamy and a little spicy. Sandalwood and vanilla are allllwaaaays good! I will give a fuller review when I actually wear it. I have so much from the sale and NR samplers, that I am a little overwhelmed.
  21. I just put in an order today before the "greatest hits" fragrances that I have never experienced before are sold out (after two different earlier sale orders) and my husband said "I thought you were done until October!!!" I am hoping for another rebrew of Flying Potion. I missed out buying one last year. I think I was new and afraid to order a spray and that I would want everything in spray rather than roll-on. So, Mara, maybe a roll-on Flying Potion version this year?

    Nip of Autumn

I got this from the sale. It almost smells floral out of the bottle, the apple and honey? Then on me, it smells very "atmospheric". I really get the dried leaves (oak) which I mistook for cedar and the "ale". Sniffing closer there is honey and apple. It's a very unique scent and not very sweet. Could a man wear this or would he smell like he's been drinking? It actually smells highly drinkable in the bottle, apple with a little bit of mustiness. I find that when I keep layering a scent on, notes become more pronounced then a first initial application. I've been wearing it for couple hours and just relayered getting more apple. But I also got an odd comment: I was in our office floor kitchenette while a co-worker was heating up something very garlicky in the microwave. He asked what smells and said it smelled like natural gas and seemed concerned there was a gas leak somewhere. I replied that I only smelled garlic. I think the ale note had him confused. Maybe my chemistry turned it that way? I definitely will try this again with the silicone. But I kind of like it for its uniqueness, but wonder if I only I like it. All day long I did have a lovely apple note mixing with the kind of strangish ale note. I also think I may try it with Aja or Sugared Honeycomb just to make it smell sweeter. It does smell like the beginning of Autumn when the air turns crisp.
  23. This is all vanilla buttercream in the bottle. My husband loves it! And I get that when I first put it on, then a smoky presence comes out almost with that smoked meat smell that some others are referring to. I totally get that, too! Then just a tiny presence of daffodil. Overall, just a nice vanilla scent –the tiny daffodil just broadens the scent. I am not overwhelmed by the daffodil. I do reapply to get more buttercream and my manager commented one day that I smelled like vanilla extract! She asked if it was one of the fragrances I made myself and I replied sort of…… because I sort of found Mara and her wonderful world of scents and have left my design my own oils just sitting there ever since!

    Pixie Dust

I love this one! Out of the bottle, I get a sweet, bright floral. The florals are a little piercing, nothing this floralphobe can’t handle, but then it dries down to sweetness, almost like sugar. My husband thinks it’s strong, my daughter thinks it smells sweet, and my son thinks it smells like candy (Pixie Stix?). It is all those things. Since it was only one flower off from the lovely sold out Secret Sweetness w/Gotha!, I decided to combine it with unscented Gotcha! I actually think I like my Pixie Dust version better. Knowing nothing about the difference between the actual blend of ingredients of Secret Sweetness and Pixie Dust, I think it is a good substitute. But, I correct myself, the two have only one flower of three in common –wisteria. Of course, I am now hoarding my remaining sample of Secret Sweetness, so I’ll never truly know….I also think the label is gorgeous.
