I see the ones in Elara and Lariel, but not Morning Star(also thought I'd see something about the devil in that one!), but man those images are awesome! Time turner especially is just wild! And of course the scents sound fantastic. I want Rose Dust and Time Turner for sure!

Also, how moist your skin is can be a thing too. Dry skin 'eats' scent a lot faster. I use nuetrogena oil while my skin is still damp to seal in moisture, and I try to drink lots of water. It helps!

Do a 60/40 split! You can get a spray that I thinnnnk is 60% alcohol base,40% DPG, though I possibly have it backwards. Scent lasting on skin depends largely on how heavy the base notes are in your perfume. Somethin full of resins,Oakmoss and civet is gonna last much longer than something made of lilacs and white musk for example, though Mara's 'lighter' scents usually last pretty well too because she uses a good ratio of fragrance to base in those scents. I've had a few light ones that dissipate quick, but for the most part she knows what to put in there to hold em down awhile.

I'm wearing a full slather tonight! It's so perfect for spring!

Well Eggers review prompted me to pull this guy out last night. It's been rather neglected, I got it in a trade awhile back and at that time I found it too pear forward. I'm not a big fan of pear, unfortunately. I do like to eat em though! Anyway, in the aging process the pear has receded, and now it's alllll about the aged mellow butter soft patch. It's freakin LOVELY patchouli, I could eat it with a spoon! The strawberry and musk are perfect too, everything in harmony, and as Luna has stated, this has a really nice retro late 60's lovefest kinda vibe going on. It's almost incensy to me, I love it! And it lasts and lasts. Those lucky enough to have sniffed Lor's Honeyed Strawberry and Musk will recognize the musk, and similarity in general between the two scents. They are so similar in fact that I feel I can use LHSM a lot more often now that I have this. I even like this better due to the to die for patch. It isn't a scent for everyone, but those that enjoy this kind of throwback vibe will really appreciate it!

If you ever see it on the trades, check out Marigold and Amaranth, all tart apples, all the way!

I love this stuff. Such a pretty violet and I'm very much in the mood for the somewhat melancholic violet these days. It has definitely deepened since its creation and is now a full bodied, slightly dirty and quite sweet violet-centric scent with a light anise accent. I don't smell amber but I'm sure it's what has taken this scent to the dark side in the aging process. Reminds me very much of the old OCCO/NOCO purple. Compliments fly at me left and right when wearing this stuff.

Eta: I know Blue Smoke doesn't have pheros, I just meant I might wait till December to order cause next month is pheromas.

Welcome Lexi! I feel like you should check out the spell oils, Particularly Fascination Potion, Love Thyself and the One True Love ones. Also Cougar, for sparkle and Confidence. Leather for feeling more like a sexy badass. I love LP Original and Red, GREAT call on those! I would also check out Embody the Tarot: The Lovers (double whammy, smells DELICIOUS and these have strong intent like the spell oils. Also for scent, some of the Unisex resin ones like Soul Food, Tails of Mystery & Crayons:Burnt Umber. Sounds like you might like the same kind of scents as me. Be back with more, my 10 month old just left me a 'gift' that DOESNT smell too sweet!

I don't think it's permanent, but I could be wrong. There have been two variants of it though. Oops! Luna got it!

I live in Michigan, where Autumn is exquisite. I feel very lucky for that because it's my favorite season, and I really enjoy living somewhere that I can experience all four seasons. It's that time of year now, when the air turns crisp and cool, the sky is either the clearest of blues or wearing a blanket of gray,and the leaves turn to fire against the sky. There's a place we go each year to visit at peak color time (which I'm guessing will be two or three weeks from now, I'm already seeing flashes of red and orange popping out of the green,we live in a highly forested area). The place is called The Rollaway, it's up in the highest point of land. It's a steep drop off, almost a cliff, where you can stand and see the most BREATHTAKING view of the fall forest, and the Grand River flowing at its feet. This smells just like that place on a late September,early October day. A blue sky day, full of puffy clouds,cool enough to see your breath. The leaves and woods are there, the briskness of the air, and like Vladmyra said, I get a hint of smoke too. There's a bonfire or a leaf pile burning off in the distance. This scent has a beautiful, natural, stately and rather 'ancient ' feel to it because it makes you ponder the trees and how long some of them have been around. What have they seen? Some go back to when the Native Americans roamed the land, some even older. The Manistique Forest is an old place, full of magic, and this smells just like it. I was scared of the sugar. I didn't feel like it belonged there. But I can't smell it at all, just the barest sweetness, like sweet wood or dry leaves. Very nice job Hearts! I adore this one, I'm never letting it go!

Well, yeah I would think so. But not from the silicone, from the phero. Silicone is neutral. It doesn't really taste like anything, thats why its the base of KY Jelly and so many other lubricants. But perfumes, and I would think Phero's have a taste to them that isn't pleasant. I could be wrong about the pheromones,cause I've never tasted em, but I have inadvertently gotten a toungeful of cologne, and thats not yummy!
