I am also a member at Androtics Direct. I see many names here that I reconize! Since I have discovered pheromones, I fell in love with the sense of smell. I used to smoke, but I reallized what it did to my sense and quit. I really am excited to try new smells out. The other reason I am here is for my wife. Its almost Valentines day, and I want to get her something that she can have her friends be jealous of. Plus maybe it will inspire her to appreciate scents as well. The only perfume I have known her to wear is Tommy Girl. She likes to stand out, so I believe this may be something that will attract her to these love potions! I think I will get Legend for me I use pheromones for business and socially. For the wifey I am not sure. I want something that will hook her right away! Maybe a sample pack I am thinking. And Snoop's right, there are some amazing scents here, I hope you'll enjoy! I'll let the other ladies comment on which scent your wife might want to try first (there is NO lack of thought or opinion here, heh) but I like your idea of getting a sampler...especially if she has never worn perfume OILS before. It's a whole different experience, and it will take a little bit for her nose to 'adjust' to the way oils evolve on the skin, and with body heat. Stick around, let us know how it all goes! LP Red is a fave around here, and depending on whether she likes floral or foody scents may narrow the list down significantly. I am asked often what I am wearing, simply because commercial perfumes are overused and lack intention.....these stand-out a mile. good luck with this, you have alot of choices! Like I said she has only worn Tommy Girl since we have known each other which has been 5 years. I may get a sampler pack and a couple individual ones too. Guest Lor Posted February 3, 2010 Share Posted February 3, 2010 a sample I believe is 2mls, I get several uses from a sample, depending on how much of my body I intend to cover .... if you were to get 5 samples, that in theory is the same quantity as a regular bottle, only she will be able to change up her scent often. we will give her time to work-up to the 100+ bottles some of us gals change-up with,lol. Honestly though, youll be surprised at some of the mixes, mixing foody with floral and comming out spicy, you will find things you didnt know you liked,lol. Lol The TAT is about that - sometimes we get lucky and things ship more quickly, if the New Releases have JUST come out, 2 weeks is not unlikely to wait... There *are* other shipping options you can request that will bring it there more quickly, but if you can just as easily sub in a different gift for VDay, sounds good! (And I applaud your remembering BOTH VDay and Bday! ) As a side note, Betrothal is a lovely (NOT overpowering) floral...(I purchased the original brew - anyone have comments on the new one?) After all, you want to have some options for her to sniff on YOU too - she might fall in lust with one! If you want to send me your address I can send you a selection of samples. All sorts of different types as I'm all over the map with my tastes. Some that are suitable for man-types too. Shoot me an email - mine is in my profile. The hotmail one. Course, these will be "pre-trialed" samples, so I wouldn't consider them a Valentine's gift, but you both can have a sniff fest and get an idea of what's in store. Samples can last quite a few applications if you are not a heavy slatherer...mine last about 5 serious applications, many more if I am just testing them out. D&M will even let you name what you want as there as not as many guys products as womens. Check the reviews - there are some for the guys. My favorite so far has been Bodice Ripper. I have not tried any of the mens phero products yet but will soon and will report accordingly. And yes everyone here is very friendly. I am sure you realize by now that this is a very ... female ... forum for the most part so do not take it personally when they start ripping on the occasional SO ... just remember - you are not that deabeat they are talking about ... lol. She is kinda prudish like that lol. I would rather her want some lovely perfume innstead of a 400 dollar purse! At least I am able to enjoy the perfume. She put it on right away after sampling all of the samples.... yeah it made me want to just eat her up! Yummy! Gettin' it on never smelled so good LOL! I wanted to thank everyone for their input and warm welcomes here! I will do a review on Legendary soon after I have a few chances to wear it around! I do like the Sweet Revenge. I was somewhat suprised by the smell as it was not what I was expecting. However its growing on me. I am not sure if my wife likes it so much though.
