I think I will have to try LAM in pink sugar...perhaps this one will be more sweet and less cops...does anyone know if it smells sweet like LP PINK, or are the cops really dominating in scent? If you ever decide to trade this... I hope I have something you can use...but I am putting this out there for first dibs...hehehe, so far the spicy brown sugar is my favorite, then I would have to say the original honey vanilla one is my next favorite LAM/Pink is gorgeous to me... Honestly Jnumbers, after drydown you really will not smell the cops (they aren't even loud to begin with, IMO)...and you will find that you are left with a nice lil scent (whatever you choose i.e., Pink amber, spicy brown sugar, orchid rose... I smelled this by the way and just like I thought, I don't care for rose scents... but anyway, even the original Vanilla honey smells nice... You would only need to layer with a scent if you so choose...and pretty much LAM/BAM layers with most everything...kinda like how Black or sugar honeycombs meshes with everything. I know you will love the LAM/BAM w/pink amber cause you like LP Pink. so get some and get to experimenting girl...pretty soon you will be blamming it. Just know that the cops smell will register differently with a man than it does a woman. LP Black will probably be wonderful with it.....try letting the LAM dry down completely (about 10 min or so) before applying the cover....that should help lessen the cop smell.... I can't seem to make up my mind on what to order. I like ambers, sugars, florals, and resins. So eventually, I'll have to think of it. Proper skank smell but it mellows to a musky brown sugar which is really nice LMFAO!!!! I had no idea that skank was in use across the Pond. Can't wait for the sale to order som LAM in sandalwood. I often get a lot of strange looks from people because of my use of "international slang" and idioms... I've lived all over the world and I've given up on trying to keep track of which terms to use in which countries Some owrds I do try and avoid though... I still get caught using the word "pants" the wrong way...Here in the UK pants aren't trousers (which is what I mean when I use the term)...pants in the UK are knickers/undies Once when I wore a skirt (which is rare for me) and someone commented and said "oh, unusual to see you in a skirt" my reply was "well, I didn't have any clean pants"... I was doing a load of laundry and asked him if he wanted me to throw his pants in with the next batch. The dawning horror on his face was priceless. I do speak UK in addition to US and realized what the problem was relatively quickly and modified my question to mean his trousers. I think it's a matter of the A-nol creates happy/sparkly/fireworks and the B-nol creates more content/snuggly/candlelight. And lord knows DH is a fan - the only cops cover he didn't care much for is Pherogirl. I wore LAM yesterday about my neck and shoulders and I was full of myself all day...I was pretty convinced that I was The Bomb. Forgot all about the LAM until I got home and DH snarfled my neck and tried to seat me on the dishwasher....yeah, it's just...rising steam and...well... It's amazing how subtle a fragrance can be and still cover the cops when they're in oil form. There is a little wateriness and sheerness to the orchid rose that somehow works with the cops, I'm so surprised. You really only smell them noticeably before drydown. ... so of course now I DO want to try all the other flavors; the sandalwood one is calling my name ... I really don't care what effect it has on others but if it's a positive effect then of course I'm all for it. Quince considers me a BAM! girl, whenever I wear it he says things like it makes me so obviously me. But then again, Quim is a very specific kind of girl, whereas luna is mutable. I have to be very careful with my work to protect my own energy and to reserve what's mine. That being said I LOVE its effects on me and others in moderation. I am more of a one on one BAM girl personality wise though. I love deep intimate conversations and I have little patience for benign bullshit convo. Love them both for different reasons.
