Not literally maybe but then again who knows what the true bounds of physics are - one day our current understanding, under which that would be impossible, will seem as quaint and benighted as the old earth-centered view of the universe now seems to us. ANYWAY: as you can tell from my loopiness I've been mucking about with my LFM bottle, preparing to split with EOSP. I got a call from this very snooty restaurant confirming a reservation. At first she was very snooty and all clenched jaw. Then we had this WHO'S ON FIRST-type gross compounding miscommunication about the details of the reservation, and within seconds she was laughing uncontrollably, I mean belly laughing, to where she couldn't breathe or speak, and I was giggling to the point of tears. I really can't overstate how bizarre this is- this hasn never happened to me in many years of restaurant reservation making. when we hung up it was obvious she wanted to keep talking and, like, be friends. I've only worn it a few times in Goddess of the Blue Moon (which I like the scent of), and I'm really looking forward to using this split from you, tyvey! LFM makes me feel...well, like I AM La Femme Mystere. It makes Mr. Matt sort of touch me every time we pass each other. That's a consistent effect. Makes me giggle! Also makes Matt hang around, or settle in and *sit* and hang there. It seems to be social and intriguing the way it affects others. I think this is already another favorite phero for me! I don't smell any phero-ness in Goddess of the Blue Moon, either. I do smell the pheros in some of the scented blends. I haven't tried Mother's little helper yet, but I'm planning on getting it in Kitten Nip. What scent do you get from that phero, Celrynnya? Is it that sharpish smell some of them have? They dry down pretty well though. Interesting! It must be the same physical process that makes us perceive the perfumes differently. I had already tested it before in my office and two male clinicians would not leave for anything. They both sat down and wanted to talk to me. They each stayed about an hour after work. This was remarkable because they are each very business like and keep to themselves. This was in a marked contrast. Today in the meeting we had a guest speaker. He addressed me directly the entire meeting, showed me deference and asked three times if we had met before. He worked to keep eye contact with me the whole time. At the end of the meeting the practice owner asked me to escort him out, and afterwards told me it was because we had an "obvious connection." This is serious good stuff! I actually don't mind the smell of most pheros, though! The ones with cops definitely make me blink a few times, but after they start to meld, I don't mind them. So yesterday, I had very minimal make up, no lipstick, some mascara, eyebrow pencil ~ to detract from the mustache that has taken residence on my upper lip- and I am too lazy to get rid of.. hair was wet and in a bun, just really not cute clothes and heels. Well let me tell you ladies, it was like I was red carpet ready. I went to go heat up something in the kitchen and ran into someone I know. I haven't seen him for a while, this man is very polite, smart, not flirty at all, he was speechless! He did a triple take- I asked him how his weekend was and he could not answer me, was very tongue tied, he ran to his desk. All day people kept telling me how great I looked. Have I lost any weight? Did I do something different to my hair.. etc. I mean, I have lost weight but how come no one mentioned it on Friday??? fuckers. It was the phero. Both men and women were fawning and dropping by to say hi. Today a coworker told me, that I am one of those rare people, despite my weight no matter what size I am, is beautiful. He said whether my weight goes up or down, I have a sex appeal or something like that, like I don't lose my looks.. I forget. He apologized for it and I said, no by all means please keep talking. A girl that I speak with occasionally, dropped by and said she wanted to tell me I look great in purple, that it's such a great color for me. I told her I was feeling royal and Queenly today and she laughed like it was the funniest thing ever. I told her she was a lovely girl. LOL Who do I think I AM??? This was in oil with DPG I believe and it was boosted into Special Delivery which is a win win combo for me. But I also have it in Spray. I used it in the Blue Moon fragrance, was postiively sandwhiched between two men for a while in a small car, was at a dance event dancing in proximity to men, and I felt like i must be a sexless being. I am attractive and used to be a "man magnet" , alas, at 42 (now 44), something happened, and I became invisible to men. so weird! I don't think I particularly look that much older than when I was 40, and people are always shocked when they hear how old I am. and so....pheramones! I am so surprised it didn't work! I am already considered fairly intimidating to a lot of people, because of my height and because I'm good at what I do and tend to behave with confidence. I work really hard to not appear intimidating but shyer, more beta males often seem scared of me. I don't want it to translate as arrogance or stuck up, or cause people to be put off me. IMO maybe the fragrance didn't work for you, but that doesn't necessarily mean the phero blend itself didn't work...I'm still experimenting with UN LFM, but I know that when you OD on certain pheros you may experience this 'ghosting' effect, so If you already feel that something changed for you at 42 making you feel invisible and then if you ODed, this may worsen the invisibility effect... I'm still learning a lot from pheros, but since LFM is heavy on the Estratetraenol and if you ODed then maybe you are giving off a ''needy'' vibe to men and that may explain why they ignored you at the dance event...If something suddenly changed for you 2 years ago, maybe you just need a Cops boost that levels your fertile phero signature to where it was a while ago...I'm not the most experienced phero user but I think you should experiment with the dosage and areas of application are important too, UN LFM has worked for me only when I apply it on the shoulders and some ladies here apply it on the back of their necks... I hope you don't give up just yet! Let us know if you find your LFM sweet spot... And about the nasty remarks on the fragrance, just layer it with something else but keep on experimenting with the phero blend. My bf has told me a couple of times he doesn't like a scent, but I just do some perfume layering and voila! Until now he has ended up liking them too... IMO congruence with your personality is key, like our dear Dolly aka 'Cops Guru' always says that she could never wear something Lacey but something Dom definitely complements and enhances her own personality...so if LFM suits you go for it, and stay away from the Dom ones... He said I was the most knowledgeable person he'd ever met on the subject, and when I asked him a question, he said, "You're testing me..." I said, "No, I'm really not. I have gotten the defer-to-me thing with LFM. It was in a teaching situation doing printmaking, and *everyone* needed to ask me if they were doing it right. It was different enough behavior for these kids that I noticed it and chalked it up to LFM. I, however, was in my happy zone from LFM, so I just kept saying "good heavens" to myself and telling them that they were indeed doing it right! Also, interesting to note that these were kids pre-teen to about 14 or 15. I haven't noticed that effect with adults so far. That's a little bit what I'm afraid of - I can see it being useful in some situations, but I would have to pay close attention to how I steered it so I didn't come across as thinking I was better than them.
