bruiseviolet
Really?! Okay, then I will definitely keep giving it a try. It's hard enough to stick with one scent a day when I want to try all the samples I have! Maybe it was the lace pheromones. I feel more sensitive whenever I wear a blend that has est. as one of the higher ingredients. Edited May 16, 2012 by bruiseviolet

Cheshire Kitten
I went out last night with the first guy in my bio class that was fawning all over me, and Red Lace'd him again This time I put on LP Red and layered Red Lace over that. I can definitely smell the difference that aging does with the two, but it's still luscious and nommy! Anyways, we went bar hopping and he kept scooting closer and closer to me when we'd sit down, and he was acting like a total gentleman the whole night - wouldn't let me open my own doors, wouldn't let me buy my own drinks, just absolutely wanting to take care of me! After just a few places I was pretty done so we went to get a movie from a Redbox to watch back at his place. While he's playing around with the machine, he suddenly stops, turns to me and pulls me over to him, and laughs when I stumble a bit. I noticed his tone of voice had been dropping throughout the course of the night, and his voice had this delicious rumble to it when he said I was cute. He fiddles with the machine a bit more and then pauses again, pulling me closer and slowly moving to kiss me. I could tell he was testing to see if I was okay with this - which I definitely was. Got back to his place and I started feeling sick - I'm a total lightweight, and I was drinking a little faster than I should have been. He was a total sweetheart about it though, apologizing because it wasn't his intention for that to happen, while I'm apologizing for it happening! He took care of me for the night and said I could crash there for the night, and he would take the couch. After sitting in his room by myself for a while I started feeling better so when he came to check up on me I convinced him to curl up in bed with me. He questioned me a bit to make sure that was what I wanted before he finally did, and as soon as he was close he was huffing my neck like crazy, and one thing led to another... I've had this guy in two other of my classes and there's always been a bit of sexual tension between us. He's older, and I've always felt comfortable around him whenever we've talked. He told me that night that he always wanted to sit next to me in the first class we had, but he was shy and I sat in front, and he hates sitting in front. After he kissed me the first time he just stared at me for a little afterwards and said quietly, "You have no idea how long I've been wanting to do that." Once I convinced him to curl up in bed with me, he wrapped his arms around me and sighed, "I can't believe I have you in my bed!" The whole night he was being such a sweet guy and a gentleman and it's something that I've needed :] Red Lace is amazing and has been having a great effect on him! <

Alohahnl43
Hi, Just a newbie here, but my experience with Red Lace was positive. Thought I'd add it. I've only been wearing pheros for a few months now. Love potions for about a month only, which I love. Red lace was my first purchase, followed by many other LP samples I'm planning to try. Since my phero knowledge is limited I decided to wear it to work a while back & see what happens. What's the worst that can happen I thought, so I get a few extra looks? The smell was delicious to me on first application. The spicy scent, mixed with a slight dirty belly-button smell, faded quickly to a delicate vanilla/powdery/cinnamony fragrance on me. At work I Definitely noticed a difference in the way others reacted to me. I'm an airline employee. While on a trip recently, a male co-worker snuck up behind me as I was standing at a large video screen in front of passengers (pax). I was standing with my hands behind my back & he grabbed one of my fingers suggestively, surprising me. I slugged him & called him a pig, as he passed me. He just chuckled & smiled a dirty grin. It was a harmless gesture, but he's never made a move on me before (I'm much too old for him); although his reputation as a playboy is well known. Is it the Red Lace I wondered? Next, while I was serving in the aisle, an older male pax in his late 60's acted oddly. I set his coffee on his tray-table carefully & looked away, without warning he quickly knocked it over. I grabbed a paper towel to mop the mess, gently dabbing his knees, trying to steer clear of his crotch area (ha, ha). Again, I set another fresh cup of coffee down for him while looking away to serve the next pax, & for no reason he'd already spilled that cup as well. This time, puzzled as to how & why he was so clumsy, I decided not to touch his nether regions as I wiped down the mess. Could the Red Lace really dumbfound men that easily I thought? Is it possible that Red Lace can physically impair certain males? Older ones in particular? Then, while on break in an enclosed bunk area where we sleep, another male co-worker threw open his curtain, looking directly at me & inhaling deeply, as I folded my blanket. Loudly he exclaimed, "Wakee, wakee (something obscene about his) snakee, snakee." Immediately his girl-friend, in the bunk opposite of mine, flung her curtain open & gave us both stink-eye (glaring). I never left the bunks so fast & I steered clear of them both for the rest of the flight. Man this stuff is dangerous & needs a warning label, I kept telling myself. Finally, on the bus ride to the hotel the captain, a tall, good looking man (silver-fox type) insisted on sitting next to me. Now, this stuff never happens to me. I'm in my 40's, still attractive & single, but directly across from me was a much younger, thinner, & definitely more attractive, single co-worker who had made space for him to sit. Instead he made me move my things so he could slip in next to me. Only drawback is he talked non-stop (about himself) all the way to our hotel. Am I in an alternate universe? I kept thinking. This is out of the ordinary for me. Normally my job is very uneventful & I don't get much attention. Yes, some would even call it or me boring. Not that day. I am now a believer in the power of Red Lace & LP products. I'm not sure if I'll wear it to work again, but it made my day more interesting. I'd wear it out & about for sure. My love life can use that sort of action. I want to test out Cougar next at work. Hopefully the reaction will be just as memorable for me. Minus the coffee spills, oops... MeriendaTime
Enjoyed reading your report! I'm excited for Red Lace to come my way. I've been meaning to try LP Red AND Lace on their own anyway. 2 in 1. Yayy.
MeriendaTime
I wanted to love this. I wanted to love this sooo bad, especially with everyone and their mother seeming to love LP Red. When I first applied it and sniffed it wet I smelled a wonderful deep vanilla...and I prayed it would stay but the cinnamon and patch began to amp and it pushed everything else out of the way. Maybe I put on too much? I'm gotta start realizing that less is more. As for the phero effects....I believe I definitely OD'ed. Today was my birthday and it was the most horrible day I've had in awhile. I rolled some red lace on my wrists, neck, chest, back of the neck and crooks of my elbows. I didn't think it'd be possible to OD with Lace because I read a report in the Garland & Lace thread where someone had used up a sample (or was it half?) in one go. I got into a HUGE argument today. And yet another later on. Seemed to make everyone around grumpy and hostile towards me. I was insulted in a public area and told things that were hurtful. I went home in tears and scrubbed Red Lace off and still couldn't get all of it off. Red Lace has some staying power, I'll give it that. I had to roll some Sneaky Clean(which I totally love) over the remnants. Edited August 13, 2012 by MeriendaTime
xev
Hi MeriendaTime: Sorry you had such an unpleasant day, and on your birthday too. It is possible to OD on androstenol, which is in lace. But usually that comes from super high doses, such as what you'd get by overusing an alcohol-based product, maybe one that is 2x or more the normal concentration. It is probably less likely to occur from using the phero-enhanced perfumes as they are not as strong with respect to the pheros. Ditto for causing ODs in other people. When you use an oil-based phero, it really doesn't travel far from your body, and mostly affects people who really get in your personal space. Of course, it may be that Lace just doesn't meld with your personality, and people were responding to that discord. It is also possible that it was just a bad day for other reasons that have nothing to do with the scent. In any case, I hope today will be a better day! I had to roll some Sneaky Clean(which I totally love) over the remnants. I've OD'd myself on Bosom Bows in oil before, but I had already applied earlier in the day & then slathered a ridiculous amount on before we went out that night (because I was nervous). Everyone's chemistry is different, but I would say that applying a large amount of pheromone in your neck/chest area is probably to blame if you OD'd. Maybe next time you should stick with these application points: torso (line from cleavage to belly button), inside wrists/forearms, & very back of neck. If you're wearing shorts you could even apply to the backs of your knees. I don't believe that you OD'd anyone else. I think maybe if you were already feeling off & definitely not feeling good from the amount of pheromone you applied + already having bad day= attracting the nastiness from others. A-nol can also arouse jealousy in others (as well as any pheromone/blend) because you have an extra "shine" about you. I can count the number of times I've had a negative reaction from wearing pheromones on one hand & they were netted from different blends, in all these instances I had inadvertently set the chain of events into action. MeriendaTime
I posted in another forum and speculated that it might've been the heat (people kept complaining) that caused a bad mood. I did however, receive an odd amount of hostility from females. Not from the men so much. I know one of them was pmsing. I'm gonna give this another try at a much smaller amount. Thank you for the birthday wish calii!
Mrschrissyrez
This is a favorite. Very warm and sexy. I can actually smell some notes, yippee! The cinnamon, vanilla, amber, and dark sugars are most prominent on me. Very nicely done Now the Lace is even better! I felt calm and happy all day. Even when my hubby had us drop what we were doing (packing) because one of his unit members had a breakdown and we had to rush to the hospital. I stayed calm and focused through it. Now, I need to go check what's in Lace, I have no idea...ha!
dolphindolls2
I am not a big fan of Apricot, but I love how everyone here that has tried this states that the spice and vanilla seem to come out more and I think with age this might morp into that deep dark scent I'm craving, I'm going to give this one a test drive for sure on my next order....thanks for the great reviews on this one, it really helped make up my mind on if I wanted to give this a try.... LadyVictoria
Here is my Red Lace story.. I love Red Lace. It brings out the devil in me and the angel in my BF.. We are at Target arguing over what kind of Boboli crust we should buy. I tell him it's the mini ones we used last time. He said it was the medium sized. Well there was a stock boy in our aisle and BF was upset that I was yelling at him in front of another male species. So he said something like .. You have a bad FUCKN attitude. He knows how much I hate swearing. He knows I am a lady and do not swear. This greatly offended me. He used fuck in a completely offensive way towards me. For the record he never curses. EVER Okay yes I was loud and yelling at him in front of stock boy in the pasta aisle at Target. I could see how his ego was crushed, he had to gain power back. FUCK that though- DO NOT CURSE AT ME MOTHERFUCKER- So I said.. okay forget it then I don't want pizza, I don't want anything with this bad FUCKN attitude. We proceeded in silence down the frozen food aisles. But I was not done. I was so mad I decided to make a run for it and let him fend for himself with Jude in TARGET. I made my escape by way of the back aisles where all the specials for the bulk items are. I was hiding by the Vitamins and I saw him run past me with Jude in his arms searching for me. I ran the other way and ended up walking right into him. He asked me where I was and if I was ready to go. We drove home in silence and grocery-less. I went to straight to my bedchamber and went for the big gungs. The Red Lace. We will see who has a FUCKN attitude problem now ASSHOLE. I threw it on me. I gave myself a golden shower in Red Lace. I walked into the kitchen and pretended to get some water. He blocked me and hugged me and said. Please don't ignore me.. I responded with .. Excuse me, and please let me go, me and my FUCKN attitude need to go to the bathroom. I ran away to the bedroom and hid in my closet. I knew he would come after me looking for me. I scrunched into the depths of my closet and waited.. I didn't have to wait a minute, he comes in searching for me. He looked under the bed, on the bed., in the crib, in the bathroom, he even looked at the window to see if I had escaped through the fire stairs thingy. He finally glimpsed my leg which I strategically placed so the darkness could cast a white pearly glow on it, should he look in that direction.. he did and started to laugh. I emerged and let him apologize to me for being such a jerk at Target, I told him next time he spoke to me that way, I would cut off his tongue and wear it as a neck tie. I also promised not to yell at him in the middle of the pasta aisle at Target and damage his ego. The End.

greenergal
Purrrrr....Red Lace. I sniffed this sample from my first order about a month ago. I smelled cinnamon woods and thought this is just not me. I am sometimes stubborn about what I assume will or will not work for me. For instance, just the mention of patchouli and I am out. So this morning I thought what the heck, I'll give this one a whirl today. I'm so glad I did. I put on a bit of Cops & Robbers in the crook of my arm which is something I do pretty much every day. I seriously am addicted to that one. Then I put on a few swipes of Red Lace on my forearms and one on my chest using just the dipper stick. So not a whole lot, but I can definitely pick up the cinnamon and something else warm woodsy. No apricot at all. Then I remembered that Red Lace may have cops in it so I frantically pulled up the reviews online. But by this point I just don't care if I am cops bombing the world. I smell so damn good! And the blending of the Cops/Robbers with the Red Lace is Y-U-M. Again, I went slightly light on both but the raspberry cinnamon concoction is totally doing it for me today. Lesson learned though... I can wear patchouli if it is a background player and not the star of the show. Now I'm off to put on something that matches my mood today. It's funny how some days I will have a casual outfit of jeans and a hoodie in mind, but by the time I am done scenting up, I am reaching for heels and a sexy blouse. ETA: I just wanted to let everyone know that I am aware that wearing too much cops could be a bad experience and I will be cautious not to be in an environment where this could initiate trouble. I used to work in a prison as a grievance coordinator (fun times!) and am used to always knowing what is going on around me and how to deal with it. Dealing with dangerous men in a prison setting is just not something I can un-know. It took me years in my corporate environment to feel comfortable with a stapler and scissors on my desk. I still always pick a seat that gives me full view of the room and the door so no one is sneaking up behind me. Hope I'm not coming across as paranoid or mega-tough. I may look and act like the girl next door, I just have some skills in dealing with not-so-pleasant people. Smooches! Now off to grab those heels! dolphindolls2
The apricot is taking center stage and I'm hoping it will age and more of the spice will come out mine. xev
Yes, the apricot is definitely slightly elevated in this relative to the LP Red batches I've experienced. But this is a good thing for me because spices tend to amp.
